Lead-halide perovskites are highly promising for various optoelectronic applications,including laser ***,fundamental photophysics explaining the coherent-light emission from this material system is so intricate and often the subject of ***,we systematically investigate photoluminescence properties of all-inorganic perovskite microcavity at room temperature and discuss the excited state and the light–matter coupling regime depending on excitation ***-resolved photoluminescence clearly exhibits that the microcavity system shows a transition from weak coupling regime to strong coupling regime,revealing the increase in correlated electron–hole *** pumping fluence above the threshold,the photoluminescence signal shows a lasing behavior with bosonic condensation characteristics,accompanied by long-range phase *** excitation density required for the lasing behavior,however,is found to exceed the Mott density,excluding the exciton as the excited *** results demonstrate that the polaritonic Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer state originates the strong coupling formation and the lasing behavior.

The use of recycled concrete and oyster shells as partial cement and aggregate replacements is ongoing research to solve this multifaceted problem of concrete waste in the construction industry as well as waste from oyster shell farming. However, there is a lack of evidence on the possibility of producing a fully recycled composite consisting of recycled concrete and oyster shell without the need for new cement and natural aggregates. In this study, recycled concrete powder (RCP) and oyster shell were used to produce a green composite. Separate ground and combined ground (separate ground and co-ground) RCP and oyster shells are used to determine the effects of grinding approaches on the mechanical and chemical properties of the composite. The composite samples were molded via press molding by applying 30 MPa of pressure for 10 minutes. The results revealed that the composite prepared via the combined ground approach presented the highest flexural strength compared to the separate ground and unground samples. The FTIR and XRD characterization results revealed no chemical or phase alterations in the raw materials or the resulting composites before and after grinding. SEM analysis revealed that combined grinding reduced the particles’ size and improved the dispersion of the mixture, thereby increasing the strength.

Electricity Generation System with Piezoelectric Element Using Acoustic Radiation Energy

In this study, a circular plate that is installing a piezoelectric element at its center is adopted as energy-harvesting system and is subjected to a harmonic point force. Because this system cannot avoid the influence of its acoustic radiation, the influence is considered theoretically using the equation of plate motion taking into account its radiation impedance and is estimated by the electricity generation efficiency, which is derived from the ratio of the electric power in the electricity generation and the mechanical power supplied to the plate. As a result, the efficiency is suppressed by the acoustic radiation from the plate, so that the efficiencies are so different in whether to take into consideration the radiation impedance or not. Because those results are verified by the electricity generation experiment and radiation acoustic energy has a hopeful prospect for improving the performance of this system, mechanical-acoustic coupling is used to make the most of the acoustic energy. Therefore, a cylinder that has the above plates at both ends is also adopted as the electricity generation system and mechanical-acoustic coupling is caused between the plate vibrations and an internal sound field into the cylindrical enclosure by subjecting one side of each plate to a harmonic point force. Then, the effect of coupling is evaluated by comparing with the efficiencies in the electricity generation system of only plate. Specifically, because the radiation impedance increases with the plate thickness, i.e., with the natural frequency of the plate, it is demonstrated that the effect of coupling becomes remarkable with increasing the thickness on the electricity generation efficiency.

Fitting parametric models to globular clusters’structural profiles has been essential for the study of stellar *** provides their important structural parameters,such as the concentrations and core radii of the ***,existing parametric models can apply only to non-collapsing-core clusters in the early relaxation-evolution ***,a single parametric model cannot provide globular clusters’structural parameters in both the early and late evolution *** have recently found an accurate spectral solution for the self-similar orbit-averaged Fokker-Planck(OAFP)equation to model collapsingcore clusters at the late evolution *** present work establishes a new parametric model by combining the self-similar OAFP-and *** it is a single-mass and isotropic model,the new model applies to at least fifty-five Galactic globular clusters with resolved cores in all the evolution *** a main result,we show the characteristics of the relaxation times against the concentrations of the *** also affirm that the structures of low-concentration clusters are polytropic in the Milky Way.

Drag-reduction behavior of an unusual nonionic surfactant in a circular pipe turbulent flow

The Alkyl Polyglucoside（APG） is a nonionic surfactant with no toxicity and with high biodegradability, its drag-reduction behavior in a circular pipe flow is measured, and the rheological characteristics are investigated with a rheometer with a cone-plate flow cell. From the measured results, the APG is shown to have a high drag-reduction capacity, whose shear viscosity is shear-ratedependent at high concentrations, while its solution at concentrations with drag-reduction effects is non-viscoelastic as verified by zero relaxation time in the relaxation process of the shear stress, which contradicts the general viewpoint that there is a correlation between the viscoselastic characteristics and the turbulent drag reduction for the drag-reduction surfactant. However, the APG solution is birefringent as observed through a birefringent test, which indicates that there are rod-shaped micelles in the solution under the shearing flow. The higher extensional viscosity inferred from the extensional phenomenon observed in the measurements of the shear viscosity could be responsible for the drag reduction property of this nonionic surfactant.

We study a double covering of modular A_(4)flavor *** this end,we construct lepton models for canonical and radiative seesaw *** irreducible doublet representations,heavier Majorana fermion masses are characterized by one free parameter that would differentiate from A_(4)***χsquare numerical analysis,we demonstrate that both scenarios produce some predictions in case of normal hierarchy reproducing neutrino oscillation ***,no solution satisfies the neutrino oscillation data in case of radiative seesaw of inverted hierarchy.

The authors have invented the unique counter-rotating type tidal stream power unit composed of the tandem pro- peUers and the double rotational armature type peculiar generator without the traditional stator. The front and the rear propellers counter-drive the inner and the outer armatures of the peculiar generator, respectively. The unit has the fixftful advantages that not only the output is sufficiently higher without supplementary equipment such as a gearbox, but also the rotational moment hardly act on the pillar because the rotational torque of both propel- lers/armatures are counter-balanced in the unit. This paper discusses experimentally the performances of the power unit and the effects of the propeller rotation on the sea surface. The axial force acting on the pillar in- creases naturally with the increase of not only the stream velocity but also the drag of the tandem propellers. Be- sides, the force vertical to the stream also acts on the pillar, which is induced from the Karman vortex street and the dominant frequencies appear owing to the front and the rear propeller rotations. The propeller rotating in close to the sea surface brings the abnormal wave and the amplitude increases as the stream velocity is faster and/or the drag is stronger.

The large eddy simulation (LES) using the steady laminar flamelet model is applied to a simple turbulent jet flame with 33.2% H2,22.1% CH4 and 44.7% N2 at the Reynolds number of 15,200 in order to validate the numerical methods and to investigate the flame *** the validation,the detailed experimental data of DLR-A flame is *** numerical results are in reasonable agreement with experimental results except mass fractions of minor *** the flow field,the break-down of the potential core,the vortex structure and the mixing intensity are well *** the combustion field,mass fractions of major species (H2O,CO2,CO) are well predicted *** species are well predicted *** the present study,the simulations conducted on the Cartesian and cylindrical grids with approximately 6.6× 10 5 nodes are compared.
