Dynamic Forecasting of traffic Event Duration in Istanbul:A Classification Approach with Real-time Data Integration

today,urban traffic,growing populations,and dense transportation networks are contributing to an increase in traffic *** incidents include traffic accidents,vehicle breakdowns,fires,and traffic disputes,resulting in long waiting times,high carbon emissions,and other undesirable *** is vital to estimate incident response times quickly and accurately after traffic incidents occur for the success of incident-related planning and response *** study presents a model for forecasting the traffic incident duration of traffic events with high *** proposed model goes through a 4-stage process using various features to predict the duration of four different traffic events and presents a feature reduction approach to enable real-time data collection and *** the first stage,the dataset consisting of 24,431 data points and 75 variables is prepared by data collection,merging,missing data processing and data *** the second stage,models such as Decision trees(Dt),K-Nearest Neighbour(KNN),Random Forest(RF)and Support Vector Machines(SVM)are used and hyperparameter optimisation is performed with *** the third stage,feature selection and reduction are performed and real-time data are *** the last stage,model performance with 14 variables is evaluated with metrics such as accuracy,precision,recall,F1-score,MCC,confusion matrix and *** RF model outperforms other models with an accuracy of 98.5%.the study’s prediction results demonstrate that the proposed dynamic prediction model can achieve a high level of success.

Catalytic-kinetic spectrophotometric determination of vanadium (V) based on the Celestine blue-bromate-vanadium (V)-citric acid reaction

A novel sensitive and relatively selective kinetic method is presented for the determination of V（V） based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation reaction of Celestine blue by potassium bromate in the presence of citric acid as an activator. the reaction was monitored spectropho- tometrically by measuring the decrease in absorbance of Celestine blue at a maximum absorption wavelength of 540 nm between 0.5 and 9 min （the fixed-time method） in an H3PO4 medium at 45℃. the effect of various parameters such as concentrations of H3PO4, citric acid, potassium bromate and Celestine blue, ionic strength, reaction temperature and time on the rate of V（V） catalyzed reaction was studied. the method is free from the most interferences, especially from large amounts of V（IV）. the decrease in absorbance is proportional to the concentration of V（V） over the entire concentration range tested （0.025-1.25 ***^-1） with a detection limit of 6.80 tag.L^-1 （according to statistical 3Sblank/k criterion） and a coefficient of variation （CV） of 1.78% （for ten replicate measurements at 95% confidence level）. the proposed method suffers from a few interferences such as Cr（VI） and Hg（Ⅱ） ions. the method was successfully applied to the determination of V（V） in river water, lake water, tap water, natural drinking water samples and a certified standard reference material such as SRM-1640 with satis- factory results. the vanadium contents of natural water samples were detected by using both linear calibration curve and standard addition curve methods. the recoveries of spiked vanadium （V） into the certified standard water sample were found to be quantitative, and the reproducibility was satisfactory. It was observed that the results of the SRM 1640 were in good agreement with the certified value.

Response of hydrological drought to meteorological drought in the eastern Mediterranean Basin of turkey

Is the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio associated with liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B?

AIM: to determine the association between the neutrophil to lymphocyte(N/L) ratio and the degree of liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB) infection. MEtHODS: Between December 2011 and February 2013, 129 consecutive CHB patients who were admitted to the study hospitals for histological evaluation of chronic hepatitis B-related liver fibrosis were included in this retrospective study. the patients were divided into two groups based on the fibrosis score: individuals with a fibrosis score of F0 or F1 were included in the "no/minimal liver fibrosis" group, whereas patients with a fibrosis score of F2, F3, or F4 were included in the "advanced liver fibrosis" group. the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 18.0 for Windows was used to analyze the data. A P value of ted as statistically ***: three experienced and blinded pathologists evaluated the fibrotic status and inflammatory activity of 129 liver biopsy samples from the CHB patients. Following histopathological examination, the "no/minimal fibrosis" group included 79 individuals, while the "advanced fibrosis" group included 50 individuals. Mean(N/L) ratio levels were notably lower in patients with advanced fibrosis when compared with patients with no/minimal fibrosis. the mean value of the aspartate aminotransferase-platelet ratio index was markedly higher in cases with advanced fibrosis compared to those with no/minimal ***: Reduced levels of the peripheral blood N/L ratio were found to give high sensitivity, specificity and predictive values in CHB patients with significant fibrosis. the prominent finding of our research suggests that the N/L ratio can be used as a novel noninvasive marker of fibrosis in patients with CHB.

Micellar sensitized catalytic kinetic spectrophotometry for highly accurate and reproducible determination of Ⅴ(Ⅳ) and Ⅴ(Ⅴ)

A highly accurate and reproducible micellar sensitized kinetic method was proposed for determination of V（VI）. the method is based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation of Coomassie brilliant blue R 250 （CBB＋） by bromate at pH 2.0. the reaction was monitored spectro- photometrically by measuring absorbance change with a fixed-time method of 5 min at 594 and 552 nm with and without surfactant. the variables influencing the calibra- tion sensitivity were extensively investigated, and the optimal conditions were established. the linear calibration range was 10-1,600 μg.L-1 with a relative SD ranging from 0.35 % to 3.35 % （for five replicate measurements of 75, 500, 1,000, and 1,500 μg.L-1） and a detection limit of 3.8 μg.L-1. the selectivity was also investigated, and greatly enhanced by suitable masking agents. the method was successfully applied to the analysis of V（IV） in pre- sence of excess V（V） up to 25 fold in environmental waters with the recoveries of 100.0 %-102.8 % for V（IV） and 95.7 %-99.7 % for total V. Its accuracy was validated by analysis of certified reference material via the present kinetic method and standard flame atomic absorption spectrometric method after extractive preconcentration with good agreement between certified and found values.

Dissolution behavior of Caldag lateritic nickel ore subjected to a sequential organic acid leaching method

the dissolution behavior of Caldag lateritic nickel ore subjected to a sequential organic acid leaching method was investigated. the effects of the type of organic acid, acid concentration, leaching time, and leaching temperature on the lateritic nickel ore were examined. Organic acids were used individually prior to sequential leaching. Citric acid was more effective than the other two acids for the selective leaching of nickel and cobalt. An increase in the citric acid concentration negligibly affected the dissolution of the metals, whereas temperature exhibited a strong beneficial effect. Oxalic acid was determined to be the most appropriate organic acid for the second leaching step. After 8 h（4 h ＋ 4 h） of leaching with organic acids（0.5 M citric ＋ 0.5 M oxalic） in sequence at 90°C, 89.63% Ni, 82.89% Co, and 69.63% Fe were leached from the lateritic nickel ore. A sequential citric ＋ oxalic acid leaching method could represent a viable alternative for the dissolution of metals from lateritic nickel ore.

以胡桃壳在450℃裂解得到生物质炭BC450,以胡桃壳与20%沥青砂在450℃裂解得到BCtS20,与商业活性炭(CAC)进行对比研究去除污水中Cr(Ⅵ)的能力。与BC450相比,BCtS20具有更丰富的表面官能团。在适当条件下,BC450、BCtS20、CAC对Cr(Ⅵ)的去除率分别为80.47%、90.01%、95.69%。采用Langmuir、Freundlich、D-R模型研究吸附等温线,其中Langmuir模型最佳。BC450、BCtS20、CAC的最大Langmuir吸附容量分别为36.55、49.76、51.94 mg/g。这些炭材料对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附可能归因于由离子交换、静电作用与螯合作用引起的化学过程。

Reciprocating sliding wear properties of sintered Al-B_(4)C composites

the fabrication of boron carbide reinforced aluminum matrix composites(Al-B_(4)C)with various contents of B_(4)C(1wt%,6wt%,15wt%,and 30wt%)was performed by powder metallurgy,and the influence of the content of B_(4)C on their mechanical and tribological behavior was *** Al-30B_(4)C composites recorded the highest density(~2.54 g/cm^(3)),lowest porosity(4%),maximum Vickers hardness(HV~75),lowest weight loss(0.4 mg),and lowest specific wear rate(0.00042 mm^(3)/(N·m))under a load of 7 N,with an enhancement of 167%in hardness,a decrease of 75.8%in weight loss,and a decrease of 76.7%in the specific wear rate compared with pure *** addition,the scanning electron microscope images of the worn surface revealed that the Al-B_(4)C composite has the narrowest wear groove of 0.85 mm at a load of 7 N,and the main wear mechanism was observed as an abrasive wear *** to the friction analysis,the coefficient of friction between surfaces increased with increasing boron carbide content and with decreasing applied *** conclusion,B_(4)C is an effective reinforcement material in terms of tribological and mechanical performance of the Al-B_(4)C composites.
