The main aim of this research was the experimental study at lab scale to check the absorption technology for the in situ removal of H2S from biogas during anaerobic digestion *** reagent FeCl3 was used to check the removal efficiency of H2S produced from dairy manure during anaerobic bioconversion *** experiments were conducted under mesophilic *** composition of biogas was analyzed by gas chromatography analyzer equipped with flame photometer and thermal conductivity *** results under the same conditions demonstrate that high concentration of H2S in the form of FeS can be removed totally from the biogas using FeCl3 dosing with in anaerobic batch digester.

The environmental and energy problems that have arisen in Turkey because of the dramatically increase in energy consumption require the implementation of energy efficiency and microgeneration measures in the building sector which is the main sector of primary energy consumption. Since Turkey is highly dependent on exported energy resources, the basic energy policy approach is based on providing the supply security. In this regard, supporting for in situ energy production, encouraging the use of renewable energy sources and the systems such as microgeneration systems in order to meet the energy requirements of buildings would be considered as a key measure for resolving the energy related challenges of Turkey and dealing with the sustainability issues. Turkey’s geographical location has several advantages for extensive use of most of the renewable energy sources such as especially solar energy. However, this huge solar energy potential is not being used sufficiently in residential building sector which is responsible for the great energy consumption of Turkey. Therefore, this paper aims to introduce a study which investigates, on a life cycle basis, the environmental and the economic sustainability of solar Photovoltaic (PV) microgenerators to promote the implementation of this system as an option for the renovation of existing residential buildings in Turkey. In this study, main parameters which were related to the distribution of modules to be installed in flat roofs and facades and the evaluation of the PV systems were taken into account. The effect of these parameters on energy generation of PV systems was analyzed in a case study considering different climate zones of Turkey;and the decrease in the existing energy consumption of the reference building was calculated.

AIM: To investigate the gastroprotective effect of vardenafil against indomethacin-induced gastric damage. METHODS: Forty-eight female Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into 6 groups. Group 1 received saline only. Group 2 (indomethacin) received indomethacin. Rats in group 3 and 4 were pretreated with different doses of famotidine. Group 5 and 6 were pretreated with different doses of vardenafil. Rats in groups 3 to 6 received 25 mg/kg indomethacin 30 min after pretreatment. The animals were sacrificed 6 h later and their stomachs were opened. Gastric lesions were counted and measured. The stomach of each animal was divided in two parts for histopathological examinations and nitric oxide (NO) and malondialdehyde (MDA) assays, respectively. RESULTS: There were no gastric mucosal lesion in the saline group but all rats in the indomethacin group had gastric mucosal ulcerations (ulcer count; 6.25 ± 3.49, and mean ulcer area; 21.00 ± 12.35). Ulcer counts werediminished with famotidine 5 mg/kg (4.12 ± 2.47, P > 0.05), 20 mg/kg (2.37 ± 4.43, P < 0.05), vardenaf il 2 mg/kg (4.37 ± 3.06), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (1.25 ± 1.38, P < 0.05) compared to the indomethacin group. Gastric mucosal lesion areas were diminished with famotidine 5 mg/kg (8.62 ± 2.97, P < 0.001), famotidine 20 mg/kg (0.94 ± 2.06, P < 0.001), vardenafil 2 mg/kg (6.62 ± 5.87, P < 0.001), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (0.75 ± 0.88, P < 0.001) compared to the indomethacin group. MDA levels were signif icantly higher in indometh-acin group (28.48 ± 14.51), compared to the famotidine 5 mg/kg (6,21 ± 1.88, P < 0.05), famotidine 20 mg/kg (5.88 ± 1.60. P < 0.05), vardenaf il 2 mg/kg (15.87 ± 3.93, P < 0.05), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (10.97 ± 4.50, P < 0.05). NO concentration in gastric tissues of the fa-motidine groups were significantly increased (P < 0.05), but the NO increases in the vardenafil groups were not statistically significant. The cytotoalcity of isophenphos, an organophosphorus insecticide that has the potential to cause delayed polyneuropathy, was evaluated in GBK and V79 ce1ls. A 72 h time course following isophenphos exposure indicated a dose-dependent growth inhibition as dctermined by cell counts. The administration of isophenphos (20g/ml) to GBK cells cultured at high densities indicated a decrease in the activities of LDH isocnzymes. Analysis of V79 cells revealed a decrease of LDH3, the only LDH isocnzyme detected in these cells.

Proactive Security Mechanism and Design for Firewall

In this paper we have present the architecture and module for internet firewall. The central component is fuzzy controller while properties of packets are fuzzified as inputs. On the basis of proposed fuzzy security algorithm, we have figured out security level of each packet and adjust according to packets dynamic states. Internet firewall can respond to these dynamics and take respective actions accordingly. Therefore, proactive firewall solves the conflict between speed and security by providing high performance and high security. Simulation shows that if the response value is in between 0.7 and 1 it belongs to high security.

Background: Anemia is a global public health problem affecting the majority of the population of the world in both developed and developing countries with major consequences on human health as well as social and economic development. It is the world’s second leading cause of disability of the whole global disease burden. It affects 1.62 billion (24.8%) of the population, among them, it is affecting 305 million (25.4%) school-age children (SAC). Objectives: The main objective of this study was to assess the prevalence and factors associated with anemia among school-age children in primary schools in Burao city, Somaliland, 2020. Materials & Methods: A school-based cross-sectional study design was done in four primary schools in Burao, Somaliland. About 285 school-age children in the age group between 6 - 14 years were selected with a respondent rate of 93.4%. Random sampling was used to select schools and systemic random sampling was used to identify children from the selected schools. Socio-demographic data was collected by using a questionnaire & interviews of respondents in addition to anthropometric measurements, hemoglobin measurement, and stool examination. Parsing is important in Linguistics and Natural Language processing to understand the syntax and semantics of a natural language grammar. Writing the grammar production for Myanmar language is bit difficult because Myanmar is a relatively free word order, morphologically rich and agglutinative language and has a strong case marking system. This paper presents a context free grammar （CFG） based top-down parsing for Myanmar sentences which is the output of function tagging system. We use the function tags that are proposed in our previous function tagging method for producing the grammar rules. In this paper, we present successful parses of simple and complex Myanmar sentences.

目的探讨细胞外信号调节激酶1/2(ERK1/2)信号转导通路在血管平滑肌细胞内皮素-1 B型受体(ETB)上调中的作用。方法用大鼠肠系膜上动脉离体培养模型,以敏感的离体小血管张力描记技术记录血管张力变化,实时PCR定量ETB受体mRNA,PhosphoELISA法测定细胞内磷酸化的ERK1/2蛋白水平。结果大鼠肠系膜上动脉培养3 h,细胞内ERK1/2蛋白磷酸化水平明显增高,培养24 h ETB受体mRNA表达水平显著上调,选择性ETB受体激动剂蛇毒类似物(sarafotoxin 6 c,S6 c)引起的收缩增强;与特异性ERK1/2通路阻滞剂SB386023共同孵育24 h,S6 c引起的最大收缩Em ax明显下降,ETB受体mRNA水平也显著降低。结论ERK1/2信号转导通路参与大鼠肠系膜上动脉离体平滑肌细胞ETB受体上调过程。

Intensive care outcomes of refugee patients in Turkey between 2013 and 2019: A retrospective descriptive study

Objectives:To assess the outcomes of the intensive care of Syrian refugees under temporary protection (SRUTP). Methods: The sample of the study was composed of 110 SRUTP patients who were treated at a tertiary intensive care unit (ICU) between 2013 and 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey. Baseline information and clinical data of the patients were collected by scanning the hospital's electronic database and clinical decision support system. Results:The mean length of ICU stay was 97.6 (36.3-187.8) h. Among the patients, 71 (64.5%) had comorbid diseases, and ICU mortality was 40%. The median cost of health care for each patient was 2144 (1060-4471) USD, and the total health care cost of all patients was 534012USD. Conclusions: Use of vasoactive drug, hemodialysis application, and low Glasgow Coma Scale scores are independent risk factors of the mortality. More researches are needed to clearly reveal the health and cost consequences of war.
