Extraction and evolution of grader’s bionic morphological feature line using shape structure behavior function model

To improve the innovation of agricultural machinery product styling,this paper proposes a shape structure behavior function(ssBF)model suitable for the industrial design *** feature line evolution method combining shape grammar and genetic algorithm was used for modelling the of the grader,which not only maintains the product style characteristics but also reflects the typical identification characteristics of the bionic prototype and produces a new product modelling *** conducting cognitive and recognition experiments on product styling features,the ranking of product styling features and the contribution of each component to product styling were *** method of combining shape grammar and quadratic Bézier curve was used to express and encode feature lines,and genetic algorithm was used to evolve biomimetic forms to form product feature lines with typical biological morphological features;The extracted form bionic elements were integrated into the grader modelling design,and the interaction evaluation was carried out through the genetic algorithm evolution *** basic form elements were extracted and analyzed,and the deduction rules were formulated and *** derived feature line geometric data considered the product’s image features and the bio-inspired prototype,which can be used for the follow-up guidance of industrial design schemes.

Bare Pd metal nanoparticles invariably suffer from poor selectivity in furfural hydrogenation by forming flat configurations,with the aromatic ring of the substrate molecules parallel to the metal ***,we put forward a promising solution by using CeO_(2)as promoters to modify Pd nanoparticles for modulating the adsorption behaviors of furfural *** achieve the highly-desired ultra-small Pd@CeO_(2)core@shell nanostructure,a“constrained auto-redox”synthesis is developed,in which silicalite-1 supports play the key role of providing their surface as the landing place of PdO_(x)precursors for inhibiting the overgrowth and the *** the best of our knowledge,this is one of the smallest core@shell materials obtained from aqueous *** evaluated as catalysts,Pd@CeO_(2)/s-1 gives 98.9%conversion of furfural with 94.3%selectivity for furfural alcohol in 15 h,which is much better than that of Pd/s-1(88.6%conversion with 44.3%selectively).The DFT simulation reveals a strong interaction between the defects of CeO_(2)and the oxygen atom of the–CHO group in furfural molecules,which benefits the selective hydrogenation occurred in the–CHO group rather than the furan ring.

Optimizing 2D-metal contact in layered Tin-selenide via native oxide modulation

The discovery of two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor has opened up new avenues for the development of short-channel field-effect transistors(FETs)with desired electrical *** them,orthorhombic tin-selenide(snse)has garnered increasing attention due to its potential applications in a variety of electronic,optoelectronic,and thermoelectric ***,the realization of high-performance snse FETs with low contact resistance(Rc)remains a ***,we systematically investigate the contact of few-layer snse FETs through the modulation of native oxide on snse by using different *** is found that chromium(Cr)-contacted devices possess the best FET performance,such as electron mobility up to 606 cm^(2)/(V·s)at 78 K,current on/off ratio exceeding 1010,and saturation current of~550μA/μm,where a negligible schottky barrier(sB)of~30 meV and a low contact resistance of~425Ωμm are achieved.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs)and cross-sectional electron dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)results further reveal that the improved contact arises from the Cr-induced reduction of native oxide(snOx)to sn,which thins the tunneling barrier for efficient electron *** findings provide a deep insight into the 2D-metal contact of snse and pave the way for its applications in future nanoelectronics.

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)have been identified as promising biomarkers for the noninvasive diagnosis of various ***,challenges in separating EVs from soluble proteins have resulted in variable EV recovery rates and low ***,we report a high-yield(>90%)and rapid(solation method called FLocculation via Orbital Acoustic Trapping(FLOAT).The FLOAT approach utilizes an acoustofluidic droplet centrifuge to rotate and controllably heat liquid *** adding a thermoresponsive polymer flocculant,nanoparticles as small as 20 nm can be rapidly and selectively concentrated at the center of the *** demonstrate the ability of FLOAT to separate urinary EVs from the highly abundant Tamm-Horsfall protein,addressing a significant obstacle in the development of EV-based liquid *** to its high-yield nature,FLOAT reduces biofluid starting volume requirements by a factor of 100(from 20 mL to 200µL),demonstrating its promising potential in point-of-care diagnostics.

Microstructural evolution and deformation behavior of friction stir welded twin-induced plasticity steel

The weldability of twin-induced plasticity(TWIP)steel with ultra-high strength via friction stir welding(FsW)technique was investigated,and microstructural evolution and deformation behavior of whole and micro-zones of FsW TWIP joint were studied for the first *** results showed that the content of recrystallized grains in the stir zone(sZ)increased from 10.5%of basal material(BM)to 14.2%,and that of heat affected zone(HAZ)increased to 78.6%.The percentage of annealing twins decreased from 26.8%in BM to 11%in sZ,while increased to 35%in *** with the BM,the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the FsW joint increased to 1036 and 550 MPa,respectively,reaching 106.7%and 110.9%of BM,*** elongation of the entire joint was 50.5%,which was lower than that of BM due to the nonuniform deformation during the tensile *** engineering strain was mainly concentrated in BM and sZ and transferred to each other during the tensile test,while the engineering strain in HAZ was always the ***,the tensile fracture occurred in the *** order of ultimate tensile strength of micro-zones in the FsW joint was as follows:HAZ>BM≈*** order of yield strength was as follows:HAZ>BM>sZ.

Development of a Mengla virus minigenome and comparison of its polymerase complexes with those of other filoviruses

Ebola virus(EBOV)and Marburg virus(MARV),members of the Filoviridae family,are highly pathogenic and can cause hemorrhagic fevers,significantly impacting human *** are considered reservoirs of these viruses because related filoviruses have been discovered in ***,due to the requirement for maximum containment laboratories when studying infectious viruses,the characterization of bat filoviruses often relies on pseudoviruses and minigenome *** this study,we used RACE technology to sequence the 30-leader and 50-trailer of Mengla virus(MLAV)and constructed a *** to MARV,the transcription activities of the MLAV minigenome are independent of *** further assessed the effects of polymorphisms at the 50 end on MLAV minigenome activity and identified certain mutations that decrease minigenome reporter efficiency,probably due to alterations in the RNA secondary *** reporter activity upon recombination of the 30-leaders and 50-trailers of MLAV,MARV,and EBOV with those of the homologous or heterologous minigenomes was compared and it was found that the polymerase complex and leader and trailer sequences exhibit intrinsic ***,we investigated whether the polymerase complex proteins from EBOV and MARV support MLAV minigenome RNA synthesis and found that the homologous system is more efficient than the heterologous *** efficiently inhibited MLAV as well as EBOV *** summary,this study provides new information on bat filoviruses and the minigenome will be a useful tool for high-throughput antiviral drug screening.

substantial increase of heat-induced labor and economic loss in China under rapid economic and environmental temperature growth

Exposure to heat stress causes diminished work performance and leads to economic *** the last two decades,China has experienced both rapid economic development and environmental warming;however,the spatiotemporal variations of association between environmental heat and labor loss have been rarely investigated behind this double ***,we evaluated the variation in China's heat-induced labor productivity loss and related economic cost from 2001 to 2019 and investigated the effect of economic development and regional *** found that decline in labor productivity because of heat stress increased significantly(psity work),and the corresponding economic loss also exhibited a drastic increase by 6-to *** relative economic loss showed a slight but nonsignificant increase with an average value of 0.54%of the annual total *** the sub-regional and sectoral level,adverse effects were more prominent in the southeast region,and the secondary industry sectors,such as construction and manufacturing,contributed to larger proportions of economic *** transformation of industrial structure made economic sectors more vulnerable to heat exposure,and increasingly preventive effects of air-conditioning use were noted on economic damage due to heat-induced productivity decline(36.0%relative economic benefits in 2019 compared to 9.7%in 2001).Our findings could provide a deep insight into heat burden on occupational health and heat adaptation strategies regionally under climate change,especially in developing areas with higher temperature and humidity environment.

Internal limiting membrane peeling combined with silicone oil or air tamponade for highly myopic foveoschisis

AIM:To compare the efficacy of pars plana vitrectomy(PPV)combined with internal limiting membrane(ILM)and silicone oil or sterile air tamponade for the treatment of myopic foveoschisis(MF)in highly myopic ***:This retrospective study included 48 myopic eyes of 40 patients with MF and axial lengths(ALs)ranging from 26-32 mm treated between January 2020 and January *** patients were underwent PPV combined with ILM peeling followed by sterile air or silicone oil tamponade and followed up at least *** on the features on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(sD-OCT),the eyes were divided into the MF-only group(Group A,n=15 eyes),MF with central foveal detachment group(Group B,n=20 eyes),and MF with lamellar macular hole group(Group C,n=13 eyes).According to AL,eyes were further divided into three groups:Group D(26.01-28.00 mm,n=12 eyes),Group E(28.01-30.00 mm,n=26 eyes),and Group F(30.01-32.00 mm,n=10 eyes).The best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),central foveal thickness(CFT),and complications were ***:The patients included 16 males and 24 females with the mean age of 56±*** BCVA and CFT improved in all groups after surgery(Ps no significant difference of the CFT in Group A,B,and C postoperatively(P>0.05).The intergroup differences of BCVA and CFT postoperatively were statistically significant in Group D,E,and *** eyes were injected with sterile air,and 28 eyes were injected with silicone oil for tamponade based on the ***,there was no statistically significant difference among Groups D,E,and F in terms of the results of sterile air or silicone oil *** mean recovery time was 5.9mo for MF patients subjected to silicone oil tamponade and 7.7mo for patients subjected to sterile air tamponade,and the difference was not statistically ***:PPV and ILM peeling combined with silicone oil or sterile air tamponade can achieve good results for MF in highly myopic eyes with ALs
