About the Strange Tree Paradox and Possible Inconsistency of Set Theory

The existence of “strange trees” is proven and their paradoxical nature is discussed, due to which set theory is suspected of being contradictory. All proofs rely on inform.l set-theoretic reasoning, but without using elem.nts that were prohibited in axiom.tic set theories in order to overcom. the difficulties encountered by Cantor’s naive set theory. Therefore, in fact, the article deals with the possible inconsistency of existing axiom.tic set theories, in particular, the ZFC theory. Strange trees appear when uncountable cardinals appear.

The work is devoted to the study of com.ustion of brown coal,pine sawdust,and their m.xtures in a fluidized bed of catalyst at 600-750℃.It is shown that an increase in the content of sawdust in a m.xture with brown coal leads to an increase in the burnout degree of solid fuel from.94.4%to 99.9%,while the em.ssion of greenhouse gases in the form.of CO_(2)CO and NOxis reduced(CO_(2)from.the biom.ss is not included in the balance).The high content of alkaline earth m.tal oxides(CaO and m.O)in the m.neral part of brown coal,sawdust,and their m.xtures elim.nates the em.ssion of sulfur oxides and the slagging of heat-exchange surfaces during the com.ustion in a fluidized bed of *** optim.l tem.erature,when the highest burnout degree of the above fuels is achieved in the com.ustion is 750℃.It is also shown that the increase in tem.erature and the content of sawdust in the com.osition of the fuel m.xtures has a positive effect on the econom.c and environm.ntal process indicators.

While transition-m.tal oxides such as α-m.O_(3)provide high capacity,their use is lim.ted by m.dest electronic conductivity and electrochem.cal instability in aqueous ***-dim.nsional(2D)m.enes,offer m.tallic conductivity,but their capacitance is lim.ted in aqueous *** of partially solvated cations into Ti_(3)C_(2)m.ene from.lithium.based water-in-salt(WIS)electrolytes enables charge storage at positive potentials,allowing a wider potential window and higher ***,we dem.nstrate that α-m.O_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)hybrids com.ine the high capacity of α-m.O_(3)and conductivity of Ti_(3)C_(2)in WIS(19.8 m.LiCI)electrolyte in a wide1.8 V voltage *** voltam.ogram. reveal m.ltiple redox peaks from.α-m.O_(3)in addition to the well-separated peaks of Ti_(3)C_(2)in the hybrid *** leads to a higher specific charge and a higher rate capability com.ared to a carbon and binder containing α-m.O_(3)*** results dem.nstrate that the addition of m.ene to less conductive oxides elim.nates the need for conductive carbon additives and binders,leads to a larger am.unt of charge stored,and increases redox capacity at higher *** addition,m.ene encapsulated α-m.O_(3)showed im.roved electrochem.cal stability,which was attributed to the suppressed dissolution of α-m.O_(3).The work suggests that oxide/m.ene hybrids are prom.sing for energy storage.

m.enes have shown record-breaking redox capacitance in aqueous electrolytes,but in a lim.ted voltage window due to oxidation under anodic potential and hydrogen evolution under high cathodic *** Ti3C2Tx Xene negative electrode with RuO_(2) or carbon-based positive electrodes expanded the voltage window in sulfuric acid electrolyte to about 1.5 ***,we present an asym.etric pseudocapacitor using abundant and eco-friendly vanadium.doped m.O_(2) as the positive and Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx m.ene as the negative electrode in a neutral 1m.Li2SO4 *** all-pseudocapacitive asym.etric device not only uses a safer electrolyte and is a m.ch less expensive counter-electrode than RuO_(2),but also can operate within a 2.1 V voltage window,leading to a m.xim.m.energy density of 46 Wh/*** study also dem.nstrates the possibility of using m.ene electrodes to expand the working voltage window of traditional redox-capable m.terials.

This study analyzed the dynam.cs of ionic liquid electrolyte inside of defunctionalized,hydrogenated,and am.nated pores of carbide-derived carbon supercapacitor *** approach tailors surface functionalities and tunes nanoporous structures to decouple the influence of pore wall com.osition on capacitance,ionic resistance,and long-term.***-elastic neutron scattering probes the self-diffusion properties and electrode-ion interactions of electrolyte m.lecules confined in functionalized ***-tem.erature ionic liquid interactions in confined pores are strongest when the hydrogen-containing groups are present on the *** property translates into higher capacitance and greater ion transport through pores during electrochem.cal *** hydrogenated pores,am.nated pores do not favorably interact with ionic liquid ions and,subsequently,are outperform.d by defunctionalized surfaces.
