BACKGROUND Optimal physical activity is known to reduce cardiovascular,respiratory and endocrine system diseases and,as a consequence,improve quality of *** important risk factor for reinjuries during normal exercise is the initial connective tissue *** variety of clinical dysplastic manifestations significantly complicate the timely diagnosis of this *** To establish pathognomonic sex-specific dysplasia phenotypes that indicate a particular sensitivity to physical *** The study involved 117 participants with recurrent musculoskeletal injuries that occurred during normal *** were 67 women(57.26%)and 50 men(42.74%),which made it possible to compare the presence of the identified signs between sexes.A validated questionnaire was used to screen their connective tissue *** Ranking the most commonly revealed dysplasia signs depending on their clinical significance made it possible to establish pathognomonic sex-specific phenotypes that indicated a particular susceptibility to *** programs of optimal physical activity are necessary for men with chest deformities,flat-valgus feet,dolichostenomelia,arachnodactylia,hemorrhoids,abdominal muscle diastasis and recurrent *** women,special sensitivity to physical exertion was associated with a combination of signs such as asthenic body,joint hypermobility,overly soft auricles,thin hyperelastic skin,atrophic striae,telangiectasias and varicose *** particular importance were universal signs such as gothic palate,scoliosis,kyphosis,leg deformities,temporomandibular joint crunching,and moderate to high *** Participants’connective tissue condition should be considered when designing optimal physical activity *** the established sex-specific dysplasia phenotypes will allow timely optimization of training loads,thus reducing the risk of injury.

Anode Plasma Electrolytic Saturation of Titanium Alloys with Nitrogen and Oxygen

in this work, we investigated the features of the anode plasma electrolytic saturation of titanium alloys with nitrogen and oxygen. in this case, the titanium samples may be heated to 1050 ℃ using aqueous solutions of ammonium chloride as working electrolyte. The weight of titanium samples is found to change due to their oxidation and anode dissolution. An X-ray diffractometer, a scanning electron microscope,nuclear proton backscattering and an optical microscope were used to characterize the phase and elemental composition of the modified layer. The electrolyte composition（10 wt% ammonium chloride, 5wt% ammonia） and processing mode（850 ℃, 5 min） of commercially pure titanium（CP-Ti） allowing to obtain the hardened surface layer up to 0.1 mm with microhardness of 220 Hv were proposed. Surface roughness Ra of samples after their nitriding for 5 min at 800 ℃ decreases from 1.67 to 0.082 μm. The anode plasma electrolytic nitriding could decrease friction coefficient and increase wear resistance of the CP-Ti. it is found that the anodic nitriding of low alloy titanium alloys reduces their corrosion rate in an aqueous solution of sulphuric（4.5%） and salt（0.2%） acids by 2 orders of magnitude. Results of cyclic testing show that anodic nitriding of commercial titanium leads to a decrease in corrosion rate by 8 times in solution of hydrochloric acid（6%） with addition of protein and vitamin.

The microscopic approach is developed for obtaining of the free energy of a superconductor based on direct calculation of the vacuum *** free energy functional of the spatially inhomogeneous superconductor in a magnetic field is obtained with help of the developed *** obtained functional is generalization of GinzburgLandau functionals for any temperature,for arbitrary spatial variations of the order parameter and for the nonlocality of a magnetic response and the order ***,the nonlocality of the magnetic response is the consequence of order parameter's *** extremals of this functional are considered in the explicit form in the low-and high-temperature limit at the condition of slowness of spatial variations of the order parameter.

Spontaneous Twist and intrinsic instabilities of Pristine Graphene Nanoribbons

in pristine graphene ribbons,disruption of the aromatic bond network results in depopulation of covalent orbitals and tends to elongate the edge,with an effective force of fe~2 ev/Å(larger for armchair edges than for zigzag edges,according to calculations).This force can have quite striking macroscopic manifestations in the case of narrow ribbons,as it favors their spontaneous twisting,resulting in the parallel edges forming a double helix,resembling DNA,with a pitchλt of about 1520 lattice *** atomistic simulations,we investigate how the torsionτ~1/λt decreases with the width of the ribbon,and observe its bifurcation:the twist of wider ribbons abruptly vanishes and instead the corrugation localizes near the *** length-scale(λe)of the emerging sinusoidal“frill”at the edge is fully determined by the intrinsic parameters of graphene,namely its bending stiffness D=1.5 ev and the edge force fe withλe~D/*** reveals other warping configurations and suggests their sensitivity to the chemical passivation of the edges,leading to possible applications in sensors.

Localized States of an Excess Electron in an ionic Cluster

A theory of an electron affinity for an ionic cluster is proposed both in a quasiclassical approach and with quantization of a polarization electric field in a nanopartiele. A critical size of the cluster regarding in formation of an electron＇s autolocalized state, dependencies of energy and radius of a polaron on a cluster＇s size are obtained by a variational method. it has been found that binding energy of the electron in the cluster depends on a eluster＇s radius but a radius of electron＇s auto-localization does not depend on the cluster＇s radius and it equals to the polaron radius in a corresponding infinity crystal. A bound state of the electron in a cluster is possible only if the duster＇s radius is more than the polaron radius.

Uncertainty of Climate Response to Natural and Anthropogenic Forcings Due to Different Land Use Scenarios

The *** institute of Atmospheric Physics,Russian Academy of Sciences （iAP RAS） climate model （CM） of intermediate complexity is extended by a spatially explicit terrestrial carbon cycle *** experiments with the iAP RAS CM are performed forced by the reconstructions of anthropogenic and natural forcings for the 16th to the 20th centuries and by combined SRES （Special Report on Emission Scenarios） A2-LUH （Land Use Harmonization） anthropogenic scenarios for the 21st ***,the impact of uncertainty in land-use scenarios on results of simulations with a coupled climate-carbon cycle model is *** simulations of the model realistically reproduced historical changes in carbon cycle *** the iAP RAS CM,climate warming reproduced in the 20th and 21st centuries enhanced terrestrial net primary production but terrestrial carbon uptake was suppressed due to an overcompensating increase in soil *** year 2100,the simulations the model forced by different land use scenarios diverged markedly,by about 70 Pg （C） in terms of biomass and soil carbon stock but they differed only by about 10 ppmv in terms of atmospheric carbon dioxide content.

The title compound N-4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-5-carbonyl-N＇-3,5-dichloro-4- （1,1,2,2- tetrafluoroethoxyl）phenyl urea （C13H8Cl2F4N4O3S, Mr = 447.19） has been synthesized from 4-methyl- 1,2,3-thiadiazole-5-carbonyl chloride as the starting material, and its structure was characterized by proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance （1H NMR）, infra Red Spectroscopy （iR）, high-resolution mass spectroscopy （HRMS）, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of the title compound belongs to triclinic, space group Pi with a = 6.0780（8）, b = 11.3760（14）, c = 12.1440（18） A, α = 96.887（7）, β = 91.027（12）, γ= 104.252（13）°, Z = 2, v= 806.98（19）A3, Dc = 1.840 g/cm3, μ= 0.601 mm-1, F（000） = 448, R = 0.0450 and wR = 0.0869. X-ray analysis indicates that the 1,2,3-thiadiazole ring is not coplanar with the phenyl ring, and the dihedral angle is 33.57°. Two intermolecular hydrogen bonds N（2）-H…O（1 ）, S（1 ）…H-C（11）, and three weak intermolecular interactions, C（11）…O（1）, N（1）…O（2） and S…O（1）, are observed. The bioassay results indicate that the title compound has good insecticidal activity against Culex pipiens pallens and good induction activity for tobacco against tobacco mosaic virus which is equal to that of TDL.

The primary scientific goal of studying salt lakes is to better understand the formation of small continental- type hydrogeochemical systems. Many scientists have attributed the metamorphism of the chemical composition of salt lakes to the evaporative concentration of water. How- ever, the formation of soda water is inconsistent with this hypothesis. Thus, analyzing intrabasinal biochemical pro- cesses and water--rocks interactions during the evaporative concentration of water allows us to understand the major mechanisms of the formation and evolution of water com- positions. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to identify the key processes involved in the formation of the chemical composition of the water in Lake Doroninskoye. An analysis of the distribution of major components shows that Na＋, HCO3-, CO32-, and C1- are dominant in this water. High concentrations of these elements are the result of evaporative water concentration. Calcium, magnesium, and potassium are not accumulated because the water is saturated in min- erals containing these elements. The main barrier to the growth of the sulfate content of water is sulfate reduction. This process also contributes to the additional reproduction of carbon dioxide, which reacts with the products of the hydrolysis of aluminosilicates OH- to form HCO3- and CO32-, thus further contributing to the natural processes of soda formation.

Experience gained in analyzing severe accidents for WWER RP using CC SOCRAT

The current Russian regulatory documents on the safety of nuclear power plant(NPP)specify the requirements regarding design basis accidents(DBAs)and beyond design basis accidents(BDBAs),including severe accidents(SAs)with core meltdown,in NPP design(NP-001-15,NP-082-07,and others).For a rigorous calculational justification of BDBAs and SAs,it is necessary to develop an integral CC that will be in line with the requirements of regulatory documents on verification and certification(RD-03-33-2008,RD-03-34-2000)and will allow for determining the amount of data required to provide information within the scope stipulated by the requirements for the structure of the safety analysis report(SAR)(NP-006-16).The system of codes for realistic analysis of severe accidents(SOCRAT)(formerly,thermohydraulics(RATEG)/coupled physical and chemical processes(SvECHA)/behavior of core materials relocated into the reactor lower plenum(HEFEST))was developed in Russia to analyze a wide range of SAs at NPP with water-cooled water-moderated power-generating reactor(WWER)at all stages of the *** to the code and broadening of its applicability are continually being pursued by the code developers(Nuclear Safety institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences(iBRAE RAN))with OKB Gidropress JSC and other ***,the SOCRAT/В1 code can be used as a base tool to obtain realistic estimates for all parameters important for computational justification of the reactor plant(RP)safety at the in-vessel stage of SAs with fuel *** perform analyses using CC SOCRAT/В1,the experience gained during execution of thermohydraulic codes is applied,which allows for minimizing the uncertainties in the results at the early stage of an accident *** study presents the results of the work performed in 2010–2020 in OKB Gidropress JSC using the CC SOCRAT/В*** have been considered to develop calculational models and analyze SAs using CC *** process,which is cle

MgCo2-D2 and MgCoNi-D2 systems synthesized at high pressures and interaction mechanism during the HDDR processing

MgCo2and MgNiCo crystallize with hexagonal Laves type intermetallic structures of the C14 type and do not form hydrides at ambient hydrogen pressures. However, applying high hydrogen pressures in the GPa range forces the hydrogen absorption and leads to the formation of multi-phase compositions, which contain approximately 2.5 atoms H per formula unit of MgCo2or MgNiCo and remain thermally stable under normal *** hydrogenation of MgCo2resulted in its decomposition to a ternary Mg2CoD5deuteride and metallic cobalt. Phase-structural transformations accompanying the vacuum desorption of deuterium in the temperature range of 27–500 °C were studied using in situ neutron powder diffraction. The investigation showed a complete recovery of the initial MgCo2intermetallic via a Hydrogenation-Disproportionation-Desorption-Recombination process. At 300°C, the Mg2CoD5deuteride first decomposed to elementary Mg and hexagonal Co. At 400°C, a MgCo phase was formed by interaction between Mg and Co. At the highest processing temperature of 500°C, a solid-state interaction of MgCo and Co resulted in the recovery of the initial *** interaction of MgNiCo with deuterium under the synthesis conditions of 2.8 GPa and 200 °C proceeded in a more complex way. A very stable ternary deuteride MgNi2D3was leached away while Co was separated in the form of Mg2CoD5and the remaining nickel formed a solid solution with Co with the approximate composition *** thermal desorption of deuterium from MgCo2D2.5and from MgNiCoD2.5has been studied by Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy with deuterium released into a closed volume. The observed effects nicely correlate with changes in the phase structural composition of the hydrides ***2is a new example of the hydrogen storage alloy, in which a successful HDDR processing results in the reversible formation of the initial intermetallic at much lower temperatures than in the equilibrium phase diagram of the Mg-Co system.
