A model for cold-fusion reactions related to the synthesis of super-heavy nuclei in collisions of heavy projectile-nuclei with a ^(208)Pb target nucleus is *** the framework of this model,the production of the com-pound nucleus by two paths,the di-nuclear system path and the fusion path,are taken into account *** formation of the compound nucleus in the framework of the di-nuclear system is related to the transfer of nucle-ons from the light nucleus to the heavy *** fusion path is linked to the sequential evolution of the nuclear shape from the system of contacting nuclei to the compound *** is shown that the compound nucleus is mainly formed by the fusion path in cold-fusion *** landscape of the potential energy related to the fusion path is discussed in *** landscape for very heavy nucleus-nucleus systems has an intermediate state,which is linked to the formation of both the compound nucleus and the quasi-fission *** decay of the intermediate state is taken into account in the calculation of the compound nucleus production cross sections and the quasi-fission cross *** values of the cold-fusion cross sections obtained in the model agree well with the experimental data.

The modern accuracy of measurements allows the residual/peculiar(Galactocentric) velocity of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) in our Galaxy, Sgr A*, on the order of several kilometers per *** integrate possible orbits of the SMBH along with the surrounding nuclear stellar cluster(NSC) for a barred model of the Galaxy using modern constraints on the components of the SMBH Galactocentric velocity. is is shown that the range of oscillations of the SMBH + NSC in a regular Galactic field in the plane of the Galaxy allowed by these constraints strongly depends on the set of central components of the Galactic potential. if the central components are represented only by a bulge/bar, for a point estimate of the SMBH Galactocentric velocity, the oscillation amplitude does not exceed 7 pc in the case that a classical bulge is present and reaches 25 pc if there is no bulge;with SMBH velocity components within the 2σ significance level, the amplitude can reach 15 and 50 pc, respectively. However, when taking into account the nuclear stellar disk(NSD), even in the absence of a bulge, the oscillation amplitude is only 5 pc for the point estimate of the SMBH velocity, and 10 pc for the 2σ significance level. Thus, the possible oscillations of the SMBH + NSC complex from the confirmed components of the Galaxy’s potential are mostly limited by the NSD, and even taking into account the uncertainty of the mass of the latter, the oscillation amplitude can hardly exceed 13 pc = 6′.

We investigated the dependence of the parameters of the segments of spiral arms of the Galaxy on the age of classical *** catalog of Cepheids(Mel’nik et al.)was divided into two samples—relatively young(P>9d)and relatively old(Piral structure were determined both for two samples separately and jointly for the combination of two systems of segments traced by young and old *** most of the segments,their parameters for young and old objects differ *** into account the difference between the two segment systems,we obtained the estimate R0 equal to 7.23^+0.19/-0.18 kpc,which in the modern Large Magellanic Cloud(LMC)calibration corresponds to the value of R0=8.08^+0.2/-10.20|stat.^+0.38/-0.36|*** is shown that the displacement between the segments is not reduced to the effect of differential rotation *** interpret this displacement for objects of Perseus and Sagittarius-2 segments,we carried out a dynamic modeling of the change in the position of the segment points when moving in the smooth gravitational field of the *** the angular velocity of rotation of the spiral pattern Ωp=25.2±0.5 km s 1 kpc 1(Dambis et al.)the observed displacement between segments on young and old objects can be explained by the amplitude of spiral perturbations of the radial velocity of u=10±1.5 km s *** the constructed double system of spiral segments,it is demonstrated that the assumption of constancy of the pitch angles within each segment and the assumption that the pole of the spiral pattern is in the direction of the nominal center of the Galaxy do not contradict the data within the range of uncertainty.

Paleocene–early Eocene post-subduction magmatism in Sikhote-Alin (Far East Russia): New constraints for the tectonic history of the izanagi-Pacific ridge and the East Asian continental margin

New isotopic,geochemical and geochronological data justify the widespread occurrence of middle Paleocene to early Eocene(60–53 Ma)post-subduction felsic magmatism across the entire Sikhote-Alin territory(southeastern Russia),conform with previous observations in Northeast China,the southern Korean Peninsula,and the inner Zone of *** igneous activity in East Asia coincided with the reactivation(after tectonic quiescence between~93–60Ma)of left-lateral strike-slip displacements along the Tan-Lu and Central Sikhote-Alin faults and with the post-60 Ma cessation of subduction/accretion recorded in the Shimanto belt of SW *** Sikhote-Alin post-subduction igneous A-type rocks present diverse mineralogical and geochemical features that suggest interactions of the subducting plate with anhydrous mantle upwelling through slab tears in the continental *** middle Paleocene–early Eocene magmatismis not related to subduction but is synchronous with strikeslip tectonics and the termination of accretionary prism development,suggesting a shift in tectonic regime from oceanic plate subduction at a convergent margin to parallel sliding and initiation of a transformcontinental *** new observations are inconsistent with the current tectonic model of 60–50 Ma izanagi-Pacific ridge subduction beneath East Asian continental margin.

Tuning of textural properties of germanosilicate zeolites iTH and iWW by acidic leaching

The possibility to adjust textural properties of iTH and iWW zeolites by the variation of conditions（***, p H, duration） of acidic leaching was shown. While the growth of the temperature of acid treatment caused the increasing amount of leached Ge atoms and enhancing volumes of both micro and mesopores at 80 ℃, the mesopore volume in iTH（Si/Ge = 3.4 and 5.8） and iWW（Si/Ge = 3.3） zeolites changed with the duration of the treatment（p H = 2; T = 80 ℃） as follows： 96 h 〈 1 h 〈 24 h. independently on the chemical composition and zeolite topology, the treatment of germanosilicate zeolites at p H = 2–7 resulted in development of both micro and mesoporosity accompanied by the extraction of substantial amount of Ge atoms, while the increasing acidity up to p H = 0 resulted in some reduction of Ge extraction and in the development of mesopores at maintained value of micropore volume when compared with initial germanosilicates. The higher activity（i.e. number of reactant molecules converted per active site） of germanosilicate with modified micro-mesoporous channel system in comparison with parent iWW zeolite in esterification of levulinic acid was attributed to enhanced accessibility of active sites.

This paper shows how the Flat Space Cosmology model correlates the recom-bination epoch CMB temperature of 3000 K with a cosmological redshift of 1100. This proof is given in support of the recent publication that the Tatum and Seshavatharam Hubble temperature formulae can be derived using the Stephan-Boltzmann dispersion law. Thus, as explained herein, the era of high precision Planck scale quantum cosmology has arrived.

Successful reproduction in mammals requires gamete development, fertilization, and early embryonic development. Defects in any of these processes can lead to infertility, recurrent miscarriages, and congenital defects. The clinical recognition of the genetic causes of female reproductive insufficiency using increasingly advanced genetic technologies poses a serious challenge for reproductive medicine in the 21st century. Herein, the current literature on genetic factors involved in reproductive losses was summarized. A literature search was conducted using Web of Science, MEDLiNE, and PubMed databases for articles written in English on the genetic causes of women’s reproductive health disorders. Future implementation of whole-exome and whole-genome sequencing is expected to identify numerous genetic factors responsible for oocyte quality. Which will aid in increasing the likelihood of successful female reproductive function, improve the outcomes of assisted reproductive technologies, optimize treatment, and facilitate genetic diagnosis of patients.
