In Japan,viral hepatitis is the main cause of chronic liver diseases,including liver *** to the availability of highly effective antiviral drugs in combination with antihepatitis measures,Japan has become one of the most successful countries in the world with regard to hepatitis virus *** Japan,there are many elderly patients who have been infected with hepatitis C virus for a long time,and antihepatitis measures have been in place since the ***,the medical situation in Japan is expected to reflect the future situation in other countries where hepatitis countermeasures have been recently initiated and the infected population is *** nationwide survey clarified the changes in the etiologies of liver cirrhosis in *** viral hepatitis remains a major cause of liver cirrhosis in Japan,nonviral cirrhosis is suggested to increasingly contribute to the etiologies of liver cirrhosis,as opposed to viral hepatitis‐related liver *** changing etiology of liver cirrhosis in Japan may help to predict future global trends in chronic liver diseases.

The Holarctic erigonid genus Zornella has been surveyed. Four species are recognized in this genus, two Palaearctic: ***(***,11879) & *** ***., and two Nearctic: ***(Banks, 1906) & *** Chamberlin,*** is demonstrated that neither nearctic species is conspecific with *** as was thought by Holm and other authors. *** ***. is described from northeastern Siberia. All of the species are illustrated and their distributions mapped.

In the present work,the turbulent mixing process of a polydisperse quartz particle flow with a plasma stream generated by a radio-frequency(RF)inductively coupled plasma torch was numerically *** thermobaric stress in the quartz particles under dynamic heating in a heterogeneous plasma flow was determined by a two-stage approximation *** effect of the presence of vacuoles in natural quartz on the particle thermobaric destruction conditions was *** was found that the equivalent thermal and baric stresses in quartz particles may significantly increase in the presence of vacuoles within a small gas volume *** influence of the regime and energetic working conditions of an RF inductively coupled plasma torch system on the particle thermobaric destruction conditions was examined,and a recommendation was given to promote the degree of thermobaric destruction of quartz particles,which is of substantial importance for improving the overall enrichment efficiency of quartz concentrates.

According to the space-geodetic data recorded at globally distributed stations over solid land spanning a period of more than 20-years under the International Terrestrial Reference Frame 2008,our previous estimate of the average-weighted vertical variation of the Earth＇s solid surface suggests that the Earth＇s solid part is expanding at a rate of 0.24 ± 0.05 mm/a in recent two *** another aspect,the satellite altimetry observations spanning recent two decades demonstrate the sea level rise（SLR） rate 3.2 ± 0.4 mm/a,of which1.8 ± 0.5 mm/a is contributed by the ice melting over *** study shows that the oceanic thermal expansion is 1.0 ± 0.1 mm/a due to the temperature increase in recent half century,which coincides with the estimate provided by previous *** SLR observation by altimetry is not balanced by the ice melting and thermal expansion,which is an open problem before this ***,in this study we infer that the oceanic part of the Earth is expanding at a rate about 0.4 mm/*** the expansion rates of land part and oceanic part,we conclude that the Earth is expanding at a rate of 0.35 ± 0.47 mm/a in recent two *** the Earth expands at this rate,then the altimetry-observed SLR can be well explained.

The paper discusses the researches that formed the basis of the study of the transition of “ordering-phase separation” and the reasons for such transition occurrence. Experimental results have presented what diffusion pairs are and how they occur in binary and multicomponent alloys. The paper illustrates that the chemical bonds between atoms are realized on the principle of pair interaction in both solid and liquid states of the alloy. The process of separating a multi-component ABC alloy into diffusion pairs A/B, A/C, and B/C occurs in a liquid solution, where the diffusion mobility of atoms is very high, and the resistance of the environment is relatively low. The driving force of such a process is the chemical attraction between like and unlike atoms, that is, the tendency to phase separation and the tendency to ordering. Quenching the liquid alloy into the water fixes a microstructure consisting of microscopic areas corresponding in composition to one or another diffusion pairs. The paper shows what exactly should be done so that such a branch of science as Materials Science could get rid of the empirical approach when creating new alloys.

Small interfering RNA （siRNA） is an attractive therapeutic candidate for sequence- specific gene silencing to treat incurable diseases using small molecule drugs. However, its efficient intracellular delivery has remained a challenge. Here, we have developed a highly biocompatible fluorescent carbon dot （CD）, and demonstrate a functional siRNA delivery system that induces efficient gene knockdown in vitro and in vivo. We found that CD nanoparticles （NPs） enhance the cellular uptake of siRNA, via endocytosis in tumor cells, with low cytotoxicity and unexpected immune responses. Real-time study of fluorescence imaging in live cells shows that CD NPs favorably localize in cytoplasm and successfully release siRNA within 12 h. Moreover, we demonstrate that CD NP-mediated siRNA delivery significantly silences green fluorescence protein （GFP） expression and inhibits tumor growth in a breast cancer cell xenograft mouse model of tumor-specific therapy. We have developed a multifunctional siRNA delivery vehicle enabling simultaneous bioimaging and efficient downregulation of gene expression, that shows excellent potential for gene therapy.

植被偏振特性研究对于植被监测与组分定量反演具有极其重要的作用。植被冠层的反射辐射具有偏振特性,这种特性与入射辐射和植被冠层结构相关。本文分析了偏振对光子—叶片—冠层之间细微相互作用及其变化的有效探测能力,并利用研究型扫描式偏振辐射仪RSP(Research Scanning Polarimeter)数据系统对比分析了偏振对不同叶倾角分布的估测。通过上述研究得出以下结论:(1)偏振观测能够对光线在冠层立体结构中的透射反射再出射过程给出精细刻画,若不用偏振手段对这一过程进行甄别并去除,则直接测算的植被散射系数会产生高达140%的误差;(2)利用偏振手段可以为高精度大倾角、多时相遥感观测提供可能,以此可改变目前光学遥感小角度、垂直观测的较严格约束;(3)偏振辐射呈现出随波长的稳定特性(相关系数>0.96),使得利用偏振手段可以更好地研究冠层结构;(4)不同叶倾角分布对入射辐射存在不同的偏振反射,为利用多角度偏振信息进行遥感植被精细分类提供了新的途径。本文详细描述冠层结构和植被偏振特性的相互作用,通过对冠层立体结构与叶倾角的研究,刻画了植被定量遥感的方向性信息与高精度实现,为高分辨率遥感定量化的有效信息挖掘提供了新手段。
