The form.tion and physico-chem.cal properties of biom.terial, based on double-stranded (ds) DNA m.lecules and bearing high concentration of gadolinium. is described. This “rigid” biom.terial dem.nstrate a few unique properties: (i) the ds DNA m.lecules form.ng com.lexes with gadolinium.are fixed in the spatial structure of “rigid” particles, (ii) an abnorm.l negative band in the circular dichroism.spectrum.perm.ts to follow the form.tion of this biom.terial;(iii) local concentration gadolinium.in the content of biom.terial can reach 40%. These properties show that we are dealing with a novel type of biom.terial strongly enriched by gadolinium. This opens a gateway for practical application of this biom.terial for neutron-capture reactions. A first attem.t to apply this m.terial for neutron-capture reaction in com.ination with neutron generator of therm.l neutron flux was perform.d. Positive result obtained at destruction of CHO cells allows one to state that the advantages of this biom.terial are a sim.le m.nipulation with it, a possibility to adjust its gadolinium.content, long-term.stability of its physico-chem.cal properties, as well as a reduced cost of neutron-capture experim.nt.

In recent years,sodium.ion batteries(SIBs)have em.rged as a prom.sing technology for energy storage system.(ESSs)because of the abundance and affordability of ***,m.tal selenides have been studied as prom.sing high-perform.nce conversion-type anode m.terials in *** them.nickel se-lenide(NiSe_(2))has received considerable attention due to its high theoretical capacity of 495 m.h g^(-1)and ***,it still suffers from.poor cycling stability because of the low electrochem.cal reactivity,large volum. expansion,and structural instability during *** address these challenges,NiSe_(2)nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped graphitic carbon fibers(NiSe_(2)@NGCF)were synthesized by using ZIF-8 as a ***_(2)@NGCF showed a high discharge capacity of 558.3 m.h g^(-1)with a fading rate of 0.14%per cycle after 200 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1)in 0.01-3.0 *** a very high current density of 5 A g^(-1),the capacity still displayed excellent long-term.cycle life with a discharge capacity of 406.1 m.h g^(-1)with a fading rate of 0.016%per cycle after 3000 *** m.chanism.of the excellent electrochem.ical perform.nce of NiSe_(2)@NGCF was thoroughly investigated by ex-situ XRD,TEm.and SEm.***,NiSe_(2)@NGCF//Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)full-cell also delivered an excellent reversible capacity of 378.7 m.h g^(−1)at 0.1 A g^(−1)after 50 cycles,dem.nstrating its potential for practical application in SIBs.

Candidiasis, also known as candidiasis vulvovaginitis, is an infection caused by different types of Candida fungi, the m.st frequent being Candida albicans. The present study reports an effective strategy, which opens new avenues for the treatm.nt of this public health problem. The m.C® m.thodology, conventional laser light-em.tting (LLLT)/LED) m.thods are based on the biphasic response dem.nstrated m.ny tim.s in LLLT research and as with other form. of drugs, a “drug” (irradiation param.ters) and a “dose” (irradiation tim.s) and the “Arndt-Schulz Law” is often cited as a suitable m.del to describe the dose-dependent effects of LLLT. This m.thod uses photopharm.ceuticals, cell m.rkers and the use of correct param.ters for each case to induce the acceleration of tissue repair. The present study shows a case of a 32-year-old patient diagnosed with recurrent candidiasis 4 years ago. Eighteen sessions were perform.d (every other day) using a photoactivated com.onent (m.thylene blue 1% + Clotrim.zole 1%) and LED phototherapy (red, blue and violet) with em.ssion tim.s of 60 - 260 seconds for each applicator, according to the dose recom.endations of the scar acceleration m.thod (m.C®). At the sixth treatm.nt session there was a noticeable decrease in the itching sensation reported by the patient. In session 11 she reported feeling a great im.rovem.nt, indicating that she no longer felt itching in any area after 18 sessions. The present case dem.nstrates new m.thodologies to treat com.on problem. in the population that have a positive im.act on the quality of life. This m.thodology has a prom.sing future because it is non-invasive and requires a great biological transform.tion for inflam.atory, fungal and viral control.

BACKGROUND Although the benefits of exercise for kidney transplant recipients(KTRs)have been widely dem.nstrated,these patients experience several barriers in undertaking a structured exercise program.in hospital and non-hospital *** To com.are the effects of a supervised m.derate-intensity gym.based intervention with a hom.-based low-intensity walking program.on exercise capacity in *** KTRs were asked to choose between two six-m.nth *** first group perform.d a low-intensity interval walking intervention at hom.-based exercise intervention (HBex). The second group perform.d a supervised training program.at an adapted physical activitygym.(Sgym., including aerobic and resistance training. The outcom.s, collected at baseline and at the end of theprogram., included the 6-m.nute walking test, the peak oxygen consum.tion (VO_(2)peak) during a treadm.ll test,the 5-tim. sit-to-stand test, and blood *** patients agreed to participate and self-selected into the HBex (n = 9) and Sgym.(n = 8) groups. Twopatients in the Sgym.group dropped out because of fam.lial problem.. At baseline, patients in the HBex group weresignificantly older and had lower walking distance, VO_(2)peak, and lower lim. strength. Prim.ry outcom. changeswere significantly greater in the HBex group than in the Sgym.group (52 ± 23 m.vs 8 ± 34;P = 0.005). No othersignificant differences between groups were observed. Both groups im.roved m.st of the outcom.s in the withingroupcom.arisons, with significant variations in VO_(2) ***-m.nth m.derate-intensity supervised or low-intensity hom.-based training program. effectively im.rovedexercise capacity in KTRs. Gym.based program. com.ine aerobic and resistance training;however, in-hom.walking m.y be proposed for frail KTRs.

After the End-Perm.an m.ss extinction, am.onoids reached levels of taxonom.c diver- sity higher than in the Changhsingian by the Dienerian Substage of the Induan. However, brachiopods exhibit a prolonged delay in recovery, and their taxonom.c diversity had not recovered to Late Perm.an levels even by the Olenekian. The differential patterns of recovery between these two clades m.y reflect fundam.ntal differences in physiology and behavior. Brachiopods were benthic organism. that were dependent on specific trophic sources, and their general reduction in size during the Early Triassic m.y have been a response to a relative paucity of food resources. In contrast, am.onoids were sluggish- nektic organism. that utilized a wider range of trophic sources and that suffered no com.arable size decrease during the Early Triassic. Brachiopods m.y have been at a disadvantage also due to vulner- abilities associated with their larval stage, during which they had to locate a suitable substrate for set- tlem.nt. In contrast, am.onoids had no larval stage and juveniles m.y have been dispersed widely into favorable habitats. These factors m.y account for differences in the relative success of am.onoids and brachiopods at high-latitude regions following the End-Perm.an m.ss extinction： am.onoids success- fully reeolonized the Boreal region during the Early Triassic whereas brachiopods did not.

In this paper we study a num.rical m.thod for the sim.lation of free surface flows of viscoplastic （Herschel-Bulkley） fluids. The approach is based on the level set m.thod for capturing the free surface evolution and on locally refined and dynam.cally adapted octree cartesian staggered grids for the discretization of fluid and level set equations. A regu- larized m.del is applied to handle the non-differentiability of the constitutive relations. We consider an extension of the stable approxim.tion of the Newtonian flow equations on staggered grid to approxim.te the viscoplastic m.del and level-set equations if the free boundary evolves and the m.sh is dynam.cally refined or coarsened. The num.rical m.thod is first validated for a Newtonian case. In this case, the convergence of num.rical solutions is observed towards experim.ntal data when the m.sh is refined. Further we com.ute several 3D viscoplastic Herschel-Bulkley fluid flows over incline planes for the dam.break problem. The qualitative com.arison of num.rical solutions is done versus experim.ntal investigations. Another num.rical exam.le is given by com.uting the freely oscillating viscoplastic droplet, where the m.tion of fluid is driven by the surface tension forces. Altogether the considered techniques and algorithm. （the level-set m.thod, com.act discretizations on dynam.cally adapted octree cartesian grids, regularization, and the surface tension forces approxim.tion） result in efficient approach to m.deling viscoplastic free-surface flows in possibly com.lex 3D geom.tries.

The Holarctic erigonid genus Zornella has been surveyed. Four species are recognized in this genus, two Palaearctic: ***(***,11879) & *** ***., and two Nearctic: ***(Banks, 1906) & *** Cham.erlin,*** is dem.nstrated that neither nearctic species is conspecific with *** as was thought by Holm.and other authors. *** ***. is described from.northeastern Siberia.
