The analysi. of long-term data of regi.nal weather stati.ns has revealed one of the hi.hest i.creasi.g trends i. mean annual ai. temperature i. northern Russi.. A forecast of surface ai. temperature fluctuati.ns has been made by applyi.g a frequency analysi. method. Moni.ori.g of ground thermal condi.i.ns allows us to i.enti.y i.ter-annual and long-term vari.bi.i.y among a wi.e range of natural condi.i.ns. Experi.ental research has i.di.ated a long-term dynami.s of ground thermal state evoluti.n： ground temperatures at the depth of zero annual ampli.ude and seasonally thawed layer depth. Long-term vari.bi.i.y of thaw depth shows near-zero to weak posi.i.e trends i. small valleys i. contrast to weak negati.e trends on slopes. Wi.h si.ni.i.ant cli.ati. warmi.g, the thermal state of near-surface layers of permafrost demonstrates steadi.ess. Anthropogeni. i.pacts on ground thermal regi.e i. vari.us terrai. types have been quali.ati.ely evaluated. Clear-cutti.g, ground cover stri.pi.g, and post-fi.e deforestati.n i. i.ter-alas type terrai.s result i. a si.ni.i.ant i.crease of temperature and seasonal ground thaw depth, as well as adverse cryogeni. processes. The dynami.s of mean annual ground temperature i. slash and burn si.es have been evaluated i. reference to stages of successi.e vegetati.n recovery.

We report the results of a survey for myxomycetes i. the Chi.ese provi.ce of Xi.ji.ng,coveri.g the northern part of the Tari. basi. and the eastern Ti.n-Shan *** i. the hyperari. Tari. basi. focused on monospeci.i. Tugai.forests;these are park-li.e stands of the phreatophyte Populus *** a transect from the Tari. basi. to the mountai.s,trees vani.h outsi.e the basi.,but reoccur at ca.1,400 m elevati.n as monospeci.i. forests of Pi.ea schrenki.na;the second focal area of the *** a total of 362 substrate samples(245 from the Tari. basi.,177 from the mountai.s)we obtai.ed 477 determi.able records of myxomycetes,plus a total of 206 fi.ld collecti.ns,the latter almost exclusi.ely from the spruce forests i. the *** the 80 taxa recorded 53 are represented by fi.ld collecti.ns,and 32 were found i. moi.t chamber cultures;wi.h a very low overlap i. speci.s assemblages found i. the fi.ld and i. *** recei.i.g less than 50 mm annual preci.i.ati.n,corti.olous myxomycetes were common i. the Tugai.forests,wi.h Physarum pseudonotabi.e ***.,Di.ymi.m anellus,Echi.osteli.m colli.ulosum and Protophysarum phloi.genum as the most common *** to the Tari. basi.(21 taxa)the mountai.s were much ri.her i. myxomycetes(75 taxa),although the di.ersi.y recovered from cultures was comparable(21 vs.28 taxa).Most speci.s from the mountai.s frui.ed on decayi.g spruce,often collected under or even i.si.e the logs due to the extremely dry *** results suggest fi.st that there i. no lower li.i. of annual preci.i.ati.n for myxomycetes,as long as at least some days wi.h ni.htly dew fall allow these organi.ms to complete thei. li.e ***,the two examples of surpri.i.gly di.erse myxomycete assemblages from monospeci.i. forests demonstrate,that speci.s ri.hness of thi. group i. not necessari.y connected wi.h plant di.ersi.y of the *** survey i. the most eastern of a large-scale study of myxomycete di.ersi.y throughout M

The effect of alloy composi.i.n and heat treatment, i.cludi.g natural agei.g and pre-agei.g, on the mechani.al performance of ei.ht 6xxx alloys desi.ned wi.h systemati.ally varyi.g Si. Mg and Cu contents was studi.d. The results show that not only the alloy composi.i.n and heat treatment before formi.g i.fluence the formabi.i.y, but also they have an effect on the pai.t bake response of the alloys. i.creasi.g the alloy Si.content, decreasi.g Mg/Si.rati. and addi.g 0.3% Cu （mass fracti.n） were generally found to i.prove the tensi.e ducti.i.y and formabi.i.y of the alloys studi.d, whi.e pre-agei.g was found to decrease these properti.s. A full property profi.e of these alloys i. terms of strength, tensi.e ducti.i.y, work hardeni.g, strai. rate sensi.i.i.y, formi.g li.i. and pai.t bake response was presented.

Seed dormancy contri.utes resi.tance to pre-harvest sprouti.g. Effects on respecti.e quanti.ati.e trai. loci.（QTLs） for dormancy should be assessed by usi.g fresh seeds before germi.abi.i.y altered through storage. We i.vesti.ated QTLs related to seed dormancy usi.g backcross i.bred li.es deri.ed from a cross between Ni.ponbare and Kasalath. Four putati.e QTLs for seed dormancy were detected i.medi.tely after harvest usi.g composi.e i.terval mappi.g. These putati.e QTLs were mapped near C1488 on chromosome 3 （qSD-3.1）, R2171 on chromosome 6 （qSD-6.1）, R1245 on chromosome 7 （qSD-7.1） and C488 on chromosome 10 （qSD-i..1）. Kasalath alleles promoted dormancy for qSD-3.1, qSD-6.1 and qSD-7.1, and the respecti.e proporti.ns of phenotypi. vari.ti.n explai.ed by each QTL were 12.9%, 9.3% and 8.1%. We evaluated the seed dormancy harvested at di.ferent ri.eni.g stages duri.g seed development usi.g chromosome segment substi.uti.n li.es （CSSLs） to confi.m gene effects. The germi.ati.n rates of CSSL27 and CSSL28 substi.uted wi.h the regi.n i.cludi.g qSD-6.1 were si.ni.i.antly lower than those of Ni.ponbare and other CSSLs at the late ri.eni.g stage. Therefore, qSD-6.1 i. consi.ered the most effecti.e novel QTL for pre-harvest sprouti.g resi.tance among the QTLs detected i. thi. study.
