The beha.ior of N-methylidenema.ona.es of 3-a.yla.inoindoles a.d p-dimetyla.ino-N-phenyla.yline (M = a.a. wa. studied during their a.a.ysis with ESI ma.s spectrometer opera.ed in nega.ive (NI) a.d positive (PI) ion modes. a.ions [a. a.d both [M + H]+ a.d [M + Na.+ were recorded under conditions of the NI-ESI a.d PI-ESI, respectively. The fra.menta.ion processes of [a. a.d [M + H]+ were found tha. proba.ly occurred a. “insource collusion induced dissocia.ion”. The ma.n pa.hs for [a. proved to be elimina.ion of CO2 a.d brea.a.e of the N-methylidenema.ona.e bond. a.route [a.- - CO2 - ROH (R = Me or Et) wa. less expressed a.d occurred for the indolyl-conta.ning compounds with the NH bond only. Experiments employing hea.y wa.er demonstra.ed the isotope excha.ge to occur involving the hydrogen a.om of this bond. This a.d other fa.ts evidenced tha. the la.t fra.menta.ion included a.stra.tion of just this a.om. Qua.tum-chemica. ca.cula.ions a.lowed picking out a.structure for the product ion from the possible ones. The ca.cula.ions a.so indica.ed tha. the protona.ion of M occurred a. the a.ionic oxygen a.om of the ma.ona.e moiety. The fra.menta.ion of [M + H]+ ions included elimina.ion of two wa.er molecules tha. wa. supported by their MS2 spectra. a.common fea.ure of the NI- a.d PI-ESI ma.s spectra.wa. the presence of oligomeric ions, up to tetra.ers a.d trimers for the NI- a.d PI-ESI ones, respectively. The oligomers were formed by intera.tion of the corresponding ions with neutra. molecules. When ions conta.ned extra.hydrogen a.oms, they were introduced by hydrolysis.

Experimenta. beneficia.ion processes of qua.tz concentra.e in a.c pla.ma.torches of two different types a.d electric powers were studied. a. emission sca.ning electron microscope a.d a.universa. la.er a.a.yzer were used to investiga.e the structures a. well a. the size distributions of gra.ns a.d micropa.ticles. Inductively coupled pla.ma.ma.s spectrometry wa. used to determine the chemica. compositions of nonstructura. solid-pha.e minera. impurities in qua.tz concentra.e. Results rela.ed to the modified gra.ns' structure a.d size distribution, the compositions of impurities, a.d the ga.–liquid inclusions in the qua.tz concentra.e were investiga.ed. The tota. impurities concentra.ions in the processed gra.ns were found to sa.isfy the IOTa.STD sta.da.d(industry sta.da.d for gra.ing high qua.ity fused qua.tz products). The optima. condition(i.e., the optima. specific pla.ma.entha.py) for the production of high-purity qua.tz in a.c pla.ma.torches wa. found to depend on the geologica.-genetic type a.d the structura. a.d textura. fea.ures(i.e., chemica. composition a.d ga.–liquid inclusions) of the qua.tz concentra.e.

a.compa.a.ive study of products of therma. a.d thermoca.a.ytic cra.king of polypropylene(PP)in the presence of pota.sium polytita.a.e(PPT)synthesized by trea.ment of TiO2(rutile)powder with molten mixture of KOH a.d KNO3ta.en in a.weight ra.io of30 ∶ 30 ∶ 40ha. been ca.ried out. It wa. shown tha. the studied type of PPT powder exhibits ca.a.ytic properties in the rea.tion of therma. decomposition of PP,compa.ed to the effect of commercia. zeolite ca.a.yst CBV-780tra.itiona.ly used for this purpose. Ba.ed on the a.a.ysis performed,the differences in the mecha.ism of ca.a.ytic a.tion of PPT a.d the zeolite were considered. The rea.ons for the observed differences in the composition of PP cra.king products a.d in the ra.e of coke forma.ion on the surfa.e of studied ca.a.ysts were a.a.yzed. Considering the obta.ned results,it ha. been proposed tha. the CBV-780ca.a.yst promoted more intensive production of the ga.eous hydroca.bons compa.ed to PPT,due to higher specific surfa.e a.ea.interna. surfa.e)a.cessible for rela.ively light a.d sma.l-sized hydroca.bon products of cra.king. However,intensive coke forma.ion on the outer surfa.e of the microporous zeolite contributes to the blocking of tra.sport cha.nels a.d the ra.id loss of ca.a.ytic a.tion. a. the sa.e time,PPT,which initia.ly ha. a.sma.ler specific surfa.e a.ea.reta.ns its ca.a.ytic a.tivity significa.tly longer due to slit-sha.ed fla. pores a.d higher tra.sport a.cessibility of the inner surfa.e.
