Mechanical criterion for coal and gas outburst:a perspective from multiphysics coupling

Although a series of hypotheses have been proposed,the mechanism underlying coal and gas outburst remains *** the low-index outbursts encountered in mining practice,we attempt to explore this mechanism using a multiphysics coupling model considering the effects of coal strength and gas mass transfer on *** on force analysis of coal ahead of the heading face,a risk identification index C_(m)and a critical criterion(C_(m)≥1)of coal instability are *** to this criterion,the driving force of an outburst consists of stress and gas pressure gradients along the heading direction of the roadway,whereas resistance depends on the shear and tensile strengths of the *** results show that outburst risk decreases slightly,followed by a rapid increase,with increasing vertical stress,whereas it decreases with increasing coal strength and increases with gas pressure *** the response surface method,a coupled multi-factor model for the risk identification index is *** results indicate strong interactions among the controlling ***,the critical values of the factors corresponding to outburst change depending on the environment of the coal seams,rather than being *** the buried depth of a coal seam increases,the critical values of gas pressure and coal strength decrease slightly,followed by a rapid *** to its controlling factors,outburst can be divided into stress-dominated,coal-strength-dominated,gas-pressure-dominated,and multi-factor compound *** on this classification,a classified control method is proposed to enable more targeted outburst prevention.

BACKGROUND Primary hepatic myelolipoma is a rare hepatic mesenchymal tumor mixed by adipose tissue and bone marrow,and there is a lack of general guidelines related to its epidemiology and clinical *** SUMMARY A 26-year-old woman was admitted to our department complaining of a newly found tumor on her left lobe of the *** tumor was painless and not associated with any systemic or localized compressive *** tests disclosed a slight increase of gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase(70.0 U/L)and total bilirubin(19.2 pmol/L).Ultrasonography showed a mass about 5.0 cm x 5.0 cm in size that was located in the left lobe of the liver and displayed hyperechoic and well-encapsulated *** resection was applied,and the following histopathological examination observed a variable proportion of myeloid tissues scattering throughout mature fibrotic adipose tissues,in which myeloid,erythroid,and megakaryocytic cells can be found in magnified *** follow-up did not show any changes 6 mo after *** This case highlights an extremely rare hepatic mesenchymal tumor,the primary hepatic myelolipoma,and discloses the common characteristics behind this disease and gives clinical recommendations.

The sensing of hot and cold stimuli by dental neurons differs in several fundamental ways. These sensations have been characterized quantitatively through the measured time course of neural discharge signals that result from hot or cold stimuli applied to the teeth of animal models. Although various hypotheses have been proposed to explain the underlying mechanism, the ability to test competing hypotheses against experimental recorded data using biophysical models has been hindered by limitations in our understanding of the specific ion channels involved in nociception of dental neurons. Here we apply recent advances in established biophysical models to test the competing hypotheses. We show that a sharp shooting pain sensation experienced shortly following cold stimulation cannot be attributed to the activation of thermosensitive ion channels, thereby falsifying the so-called neuronal hypothesis, which states that rapidly transduced sensations of coldness are related to thermosensitive ion channels. Our results support a central role of mechanosensitive ion channels and the associated hydrodynamic hypothesis. In addition to the hydrodynamic hypothesis, we also demonstrate that the long time delay of dental neuron responses after hot stimulation could be attributed to the neuronal hypothesis-that a relatively long time is required for the temperature around nociceptors to reach some threshold. The results are useful as a model of how multiphysical phenomena can be combined to provide mechanistic insight into different mechanisms underlying pain sensations.

Oxygen vacancies play a crucial role in determining the catalytic properties of Ce-based catalysts,especially in oxidation *** design of catalytic activity requires keen insight into oxygen vacancy formation *** this work,we investigate the origin of oxygen vacancies in CeO_(2)from the perspective of electron density via high-energy synchrotron powder x-ray *** refinement results indicate that there is no obvious hybridization between bonded Ce and O atoms in CeO_(2).Subsequent quantitative topological analysis of the experimental total electron density reveals the closed-shell interaction behavior of the Ce-O *** results of first-principles calculation indicate that the oxygen vacancy formation energy of CeO_(2)is the lowest among three commonly used redox *** findings indicate the relatively weak bond strength of the Ce-O bond,which induces a low oxygen vacancy formation energy for CeO_(2)and thus promotes CeO_(2)as a superior catalyst for oxidation *** work provides a new direction for design of functional metal oxides with high oxygen vacancy concentrations.

Network attacks evolved from single-step and simple attacks to complex multistep *** methods of multistep attack detection usually match multistep attacks from intrusion detection systems(IDS)alarms based on the correlation between attack ***,IDS has false negatives and false positives,which leads to incomplete or incorrect multistep *** based on simple similarity is difficult to obtain an accurate attack cluster,while association based on prior knowledge such as attack graphs is difficult to guarantee a complete attack knowledge *** solve the above problems,a heuristic multistep attack scenarios construction method based on the kill chain(HMASCKC)model was *** attack model graph can be obtained from dual data sources and heuristic multistep attack scenarios can be obtained through graph *** model graph of the attack and the predicted value of the next attack are obtained by calculating the matching *** according to the purpose of the multistep attack,the kill chain model is used to define the initial multistep attack model,which is used as the initial graph for graph *** results show that HMASCKC model can better fit the multistep attack behavior,the effect has some advantages over the longest common subsequence(LCS)algorithm,which can close to or match the prediction error of judge evaluation of attack intension(JEAN)*** method can make multistep attack model matching for unknown attacks,so it has some advantages in practical application.
