As offshore wind farms expand into deeper and farther ocean regions and the unit capacity of offshore wind turbines(OWTs)increases,there is a pressing need for a new foundation structure that can accommodate deep-sea conditions and support large capacities while maintaining economical and *** meet this goal of integrated transportation and one-step installation,a novel five-bucket jacket foundation(FBJF),with its suction installation and leveling methods in sand,has been proposed,analyzed and experimentally ***,seepage failure experiments of the FBJF at various depths were conducted,and a formula for calculating the critical suction of seepage failure suitable for the FBJF in sand was chosen and recommended for use with a range of values for the permeability coefficient ***,through leveling experiments of the FBJF at different depths,the maximum adjustable leveling angle during the sinking process was defined using seepage failure and the adjustable leveling angle of the foundation as control *** leveling control strategies were proposed and ***,an automatic sinking and leveling control system for the FBJF was developed and experimentally verified for feasibility.

Qinghai Lake in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP)， being sensitive to paleoclimate change and anthropogenic activities， has attracted much attention from paleoenvironmental researchers. Grain size and elemental content in lake sediments are indispensable proxies for reconstructing paleoclimate and paleoenvironment. However， limited research on grain size and elemental content of surface-sediments in Qinghai Lake complicates decoding the information from lacustrine sedimentary strata. In this study， 55 surface-sediment samples were collected for grain size and elemental content analysis， combined with grain size end-member modeling algorithm (EMMA)， correlation (CA) and principal component (PCA) analysis to explore the controlling mechanisms and their environmental indications. Our results show that the hydrodynamic condition controls the distribution of surface-sediments in Qinghai Lake: exhibiting a belt-like pattern of sand-silt-clay， the clockwise circulation in the northwestern and southwestern lake transports sand to the two primary sedimentary centers. Three primary components representing different transport/depositional processes were separated: ‘lacustro-aeolian’， ‘fluvio-aeolian’ and river-transported bedload. Grain size controls the elemental content， particularly in terrestrial particles. Nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P)， mainly derived from endogenous organic matter (OM)， tend to be absorbed by finer particles. The hydrodynamic conditions and anthropogenic activities also influence their spatial distribution. The chemical weathering index (CIA)， indicating a cold and dry climate， is highly related to grain size. This research provides crucial modern process references for accurately interpreting grain size and element records in sediment cores from Qinghai Lake.

In this editorial,we discuss the recent article by Zhao et al published in the World Journal of Diabetes,which highlights the importance of recognizing the risk indicators associated with diabetes mellitus(DM).Given the severe implications of healthcare-associated infections(HAIs)in hospitalized individuals-such as heightened mortality rates,prolonged hospitalizations,and increased costs-we focus on elucidating the connection between DM and nosocomial *** patients are susceptible to pathogenic bacterial invasion and subsequent infection,with some already harboring co-infections upon ***,DM is an important risk factor for nosocomial urinary tract infections and surgical site infections,which may indirectly affect the occurrence of nosocomial bloodstream infections,especially in patients with DM with poor glycemic *** evidence regarding the impact of DM on healthcare-associated pneumonias remains inconclusive,attention to this potential association is *** patients with DM should prioritize meticulous blood glucose management,adherence to standard operating procedures,hand hygiene practices,environmental disinfection,and rational use of drugs during *** studies are imperative to explore the main risk factors of HAIs in patients with DM,enabling the development of preventative measures and mitigating the occurrence of HAIs in these patients.

A dose-escalation and expansion,phase 1/2 study(***,NCT04818333)was conducted to assess the novel antibodydrug conjugate SHR-A1811 in pretreated HER2-altered advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Here,we report results from the phase 1 *** who had previously failed or were intolerant to platinum-based chemotherapy were enrolled and received SHR-A1811 intravenously at doses of 3.2 to 8.0 mg/kg every 3 *** escalation followed a Bayesian logistic regression model that included overdose control,with subsequent selection of tolerable levels for dose ***,63 patients were enrolled,including 43 receiving a recommended dose for expansion of 4.8 mg/*** patients had HER2-mutant ***-limiting toxicity occurred in one patient in the 8.0 mg/kg dose ***≥3 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 29(46.0%)*** patient in the 6.4 mg/kg cohort died due to interstitial lung *** of April 11,2023,the 4.8 mg/kg cohort showed an objective response rate of 41.9%(95%Cl 27.0-57.9),and a disease control rate of 95.3%(95%Cl 84.2-99.4).The median duration of response was 13.7 months,with 13 of 18 responses *** median progression-free survival was 8.4 months(95%CI 7.1-15.0).SHR-A1811 demonstrated favourable safety and clinically meaningful efficacy in pretreated advanced HER2-mutantNSCLC.

针对GPT3模型在模拟大气剖面时存在精度不足的问题,在剖析其垂直修正方法的基础上,通过引入新的温度递减率和气压垂直改正算法,提出一种改进的GPT3模型,即GPT3v模型,并使用探空资料、NCEP再分析资料和GNSS数据验证新模型的精度。结果表明,垂直方向上GPT3v模型估计的温度、气压、天顶总延迟平均RMSE分别为6.0 K、7.9 hPa和23.0 mm,相比于GPT3模型的11.1 K、19.0 hPa和47.8 mm,精度分别提高46%、58%和52%。而当IGS测站与其周围4个模型格网点存在较大高差时,GPT3模型会存在较大的对流层延迟估计误差,GPT3v模型则能较好地解决这一问题。相较于GPT3模型,GPT3v模型在高空以及地形复杂区域具有更好的应用效果。

Birds exhibit extraordinary mobility and remarkable navigational skills,obtaining guidance cues from the Earth’s magnetic field for orientation and long-distance *** species also show tremendous diversity in navigation strategies,with considerable differences even within the same taxa and among individuals from the same *** highly conserved iron and iron-sulfur cluster binding magnetoreceptor(MagR)protein is suggested to enable animals,including birds,to detect the geomagnetic field and navigate ***,MagR is also implicated in other functions,such as electron transfer and biogenesis of iron-sulfur clusters,raising the question of whether variability exists in its biochemical and biophysical features among species,particularly *** the current study,we conducted a comparative analysis of MagR from two different bird species,including the migratory European robin(Erithacus rubecula)and the homing pigeon(Columba livia).Sequence alignment revealed an extremely high degree of similarity between the MagRs of these species,with only three sequence ***,two of these variations underpinned significant differences in metal binding capacity,oligomeric state,and magnetic *** findings offer compelling evidence for the marked differences in MagR between the two avian species,potentially explaining how a highly conserved protein can mediate such diverse functions.
