Blood vessels constitute a closed pipe system distributed throughout the body,transporting blood from the heart to other organs and delivering metabolic waste products back to the lungs and *** in blood vessels are related to many disorders like stroke,myocardial infarction,aneurysm,and diabetes,which are important causes of death *** research for new appro-aches to disease modeling and effective treatment is needed due to the huge socio-economic burden on healthcare *** mice or rats have been widely used,applying data from animal studies to human-specific vascular physiology and pathology is *** rise of induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)provides a reliable in vitro resource for disease modeling,regenerative medicine,and drug discovery because they carry all human genetic information and have the ability to directionally differentiate into any type of human *** review summarizes the latest progress from the establishment of iPSCs,the strategies for differentiating iPSCs into vascular cells,and the in vivo trans-plantation of these vascular *** also introduces the application of these technologies in disease modeling,drug screening,and regenerative ***,the application of high-tech tools,such as omics analysis and high-throughput sequencing,in this field is reviewed.

The inflammatory microenvironment and neurotoxicity can hinder neuronal regeneration and functional recovery after spinal cord ***,a JAK-STAT inhibitor,exhibits effectiveness in autoimmune diseases,arthritis,and managing inflammatory cytokine *** studies have shown the neuroprotective potential of ruxolitinib in neurological trauma,the exact mechanism by which it enhances functional recovery after spinal cord injury,particularly its effect on astrocytes,remains *** address this gap,we established a mouse model of T10 spinal cord contusion and found that ruxolitinib effectively improved hindlimb motor function and reduced the area of spinal cord *** sequencing analysis showed that ruxolitinib alleviated inflammation and immune response after spinal cord injury,restored EAAT2 expression,reduced glutamate levels,and alleviated excitatory ***,ruxolitinib inhibited the phosphorylation of JAK2 and STAT3 in the injured spinal cord and decreased the phosphorylation level of nuclear factor kappa-B and the expression of inflammatory factors interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α.Additionally,in glutamate-induced excitotoxicity astrocytes,ruxolitinib restored EAAT2 expression and increased glutamate uptake by inhibiting the activation of STAT3,thereby reducing glutamate-induced neurotoxicity,calcium influx,oxidative stress,and cell apoptosis,and increasing the complexity of dendritic ***,these results indicate that ruxolitinib restores glutamate homeostasis by rescuing the expression of EAAT2 in astrocytes,reduces neurotoxicity,and effectively alleviates inflammatory and immune responses after spinal cord injury,thereby promoting functional recovery after spinal cord injury.

Mangrove wetlands distribution status identification, changing trend analyzation and carbon storage assessment of China

Protective Effects of Danmu Extract Syrup on Acute Lung Injury Induced by Lipopolysaccharide in Mice through Endothelial Barrier Repair

Objective:To investigate the effects of Danmu Extract Syrup(DMS) on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced acute lung injury(ALI) in mice and explore the ***:Seventy-two male Balb/C mice were randomly divided into 6 groups according to a random number table(n=12),including control(normal saline),LPS(5 mg/kg),LPS+DMS 2.5 mL/kg,LPS+DMS 5 mL/kg,LPS+DMS 10 mL/kg,and LPS+Dexamethasone(DXM,5 mg/kg) *** pretreatment with DMS and DXM,the ALI mice model was induced by LPS,and the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) were collected to determine protein concentration,cell counts and inflammatory *** lung tissues of mice were stained with hematoxylin-eosin,and the wet/dry weight ratio(W/D) of lung tissue was *** levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-1βin BALF of mice were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent *** expression levels of Claudin-5,vascular endothelial(VE)-cadherin,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),phospho-protein kinase B(p-Akt) and Akt were detected by Western blot ***:DMS pre-treatment significantly ameliorated lung histopathological *** with the LPS group,the W/D ratio and protein contents in BALF were obviously reduced after DMS pretreatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The number of cells in BALF and myeloperoxidase(MPO) activity decreased significantly after DMS pretreatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).DMS pre-treatment decreased the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-1β(P<0.01).Meanwhile,DMS activated the phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt) pathway and reversed the expressions of Claudin-5,VE-cadherin and VEGF(P<0.01).Conclusions:DMS attenuated LPS-induced ALI in mice through repairing endothelial *** might be a potential therapeutic drug for LPS-induced lung injury.

Leptonic di-flavor and di-number violation processes at high energyμ^(±)μ^(±)colliders

The leptonic di-flavor violation (LFV) processes μ^(±)μ^(±)→e^(±)e^(±) and μ^(±)μ^(±)→τ^(±)τ^(±) and leptonic di-number violation (LNV) processes μ^(±)μ^(±)→W_(i)^(±)W_(j)^(±) (i,j=1,2) at same-sign high energy μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders are studied. The new physics (NP) factors that may play roles in these processes are highlighted by cataloging them into three types. Taking into account the experimental constraints, the processes at μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders are computed, and the results are presented properly. The results lead to the conclusion that observing the NP factors through the LFV and LNV processes at TeV-energy μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders has significant advantages that cannot be achieved elsewhere. Therefore, once the techniques for muon acceleration and collision are developed successfully, the option of building same-sign high energy muon colliders should be seriously considered.
