BACKGROUND This case of gestational gingival tumor is huge and extremely rare in clinical *** the growth location of this gingival tumor is in the upper anterior tooth area,it seriously affects the pregnant woman's speech and food,causing great pain to the *** use of Nd:YGA water mist laser to remove the gingival tumor resulted in minimal intraoperative bleeding,minimal adverse reactions,and good postoperative healing,which is worthy of clinical promotion and *** SUMMARY The patient,a pregnant woman,reported a large lump in her mouth on the first day of postpartum *** on medical history and clinical examination,the diagnosis was diagnosed as gestational gingival *** pathological biopsy also confirmed this *** use of Nd:YAG water mist laser to remove the tumor resulted in minimal intraoperative bleeding,clear surgical field of view,short surgical time,and good postoperative *** In comparison to traditional surgery,Nd:YAG water mist laser surgery is minimally invasive,minimizes cell damage,reduces bleeding,ensures a clear field of vision,and virtually eliminates postoperative edema,carbonization,and the risk of cross *** has unique advantages in oral soft tissue surgery for pregnant ***,the clinical application of Nd:YAG water mist laser for the treatment of gestational gingival tumors is an ideal choice.

Paper-based sensing platform is a point of need analytical toolkit for safety ***,the sensitivity,specificity,and simplicity are still ***,we report a novel strategy(Au/δ-MnO_(2) hollow nanosphere and 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)induced test strips for signal-on detection)that can be utilized for hexavalent chromium(Cr^(6+))***,Cr^(6+)(CrO_(4)^(2−)) as a smart switch can remarkably enhance the oxidase-like activity of Au/δ-MnO_(2) hollow *** presence of Cr^(6+) can regulate the surface electronic redistribution of Au/δ-MnO_(2) and adjust the geometric configuration,which leads to the improvement in oxidase-like activity of Au/δ-MnO_(2).As a proof-of-concept application,a visual paper-based sensing platform of Cr^(6+) along with quantitative analysis by the test strips was successfully *** paper-based sensing platform exhibits a linear range with excellent selectivity for other interfering substances and lower limit of detection of 0.09μmol·L^(−1),providing a promising toolkit at-home Cr^(6+) measurement and environmental monitoring.

Indium selenide(InSe),as a wide-bandgap semiconductor,has received extensive attention in the flexible electronics field in recent years due to its exceptional plasticity and promising thermoelectric ***,the low carrier concentration severely limits its thermoelectric performance *** this work,we conducted contrasting strategies that can be employed to increase the carrier concentration of InSe,including bandgap narrowing and heterovalent ***,the carrier concentration initially increases as a result of the reduced bandgap upon Te alloying and then slightly decreases due to the weak electronegativity of *** Br doping realizes high carrier concentration by pushing the Fermi level into the conduction bands and activating the multiple *** the other hand,both Te and Br obviously suppress the thermal conductivity due to the point defect *** contrast,Br doping realizes a higher thermoelectric performance with a maximum ZT of~0.13 at 773 K benefiting from the better optimization of carrier *** work elucidates the strategies for enhancing carrier concentration at anion sites and demonstrates the high efficiency of halogen doping in ***,the carrier concentration of InSe is promising to be further optimized,and future work should focus on employing approaches such as cation doping or secondphase compositing.

A solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)with a robust mechanical property and a high ionic conductivity is imperative for high-performance zinc metal ***,it is difficult to form such a SEI directly from an *** this work,a molecular crowding effect is based on the introduction of Zn(OTF)_(2)and Zn(ClO_(4))_(2)to 2 mol/L ZnSO_(4)*** and experiments indicate that the Zn(OTF)_(2)and Zn(ClO_(4))_(2)not only create a molecularly crowded electrolyte environment to promote the interaction of Zn^(2+)and OTF^(-),but also participate in the reduction to construct a robust and high ionic-conductive SEI,thus promoting metal zinc deposition to the(002)crystal *** this molecular crowding electrolyte,a high current density of 1 mA/cm^(2)can be obtained by assembling symmetric batteries with Zn as the anode for over 1000 *** in a temperature environment of-10℃,a current density of 1 mA/cm^(2)can be obtained by assembling symmetric batteries with Zn for over 200 ***//Bi_(2)S_(3)/VS4@C cells achieve a CE rate of up to 99.81%over 1000 ***,the utilization of a molecular crowding electrolyte is deemed a highly effective approach to fabricating a sophisticated SEI for a zinc anode.

Electrocatalytic water splitting that is coupled with electrocatalytic chemical oxidation is considered as one of the promising methods for efficiently obtaining hydrogen energy and fine ***,we focus on an electrochemical redox activation strategy to rationally manipulate the microstructure and surface valence states of copper foam(CF)and boost the corresponding performance towards electrocatalytic benzyl alcohol oxidation(EBA),accompanied by the efficient hydrogen ***,the Cu(II)‐dominated species are gradually formed on the CF surface with the dissolution and redeposition of copper in the suitable potential *** new species containing Cu2O,CuO,and Cu(OH)2 during surface reconstruction process of the CF were confirmed by multiple characterization *** 220‐cycled activation(CF‐220),the activated CF achieves an increase of current density for EBA in anode from 9.5 for the original CF to 29.3 mmol/cm2,while the pure hydrogen yield increases threefold than that of the original CF at 1.5 *** produced new species can endow the CF‐220 with abundant acidity sites,which can enhance the adsorption toward Lewis‐basicity benzyl alcohol,confirmed by NH3‐temperature‐programmed *** situ Raman result further reveals that the as‐produced CuO,Cu(OH)2,and Cu(OH)42−are the main active species toward the EBA process.

Kumamoto oysters(Crassostrea sikamea)are important marine aquaculture shellfish because of their taste and round shell *** to its small size,selective breeding is required to improve its market size,but there are no reports on traits suitable for direction selection and reproductive productivity of Kumamoto oysters of different *** this study,path analysis and one-way ANOVA were used to explore the influential indices of oyster body weight and *** results showed that shell height was the main factor affecting the body weight of Kumamoto oysters at one-year-old and two-year-old,followed by shell *** weight was the main factor influencing fecundity,and shell height showed a significant correlation with ***,shell height should be considered the first parameter for selection when selecting Kumamoto oysters for body weight as the direct selection *** one-year-old and two-year-old Kumamoto oysters were selected as parents from Xiangshan Bay,hatching parameters and growth parameters of F1 generation larvae were *** fecundity and egg diameters were 1.72×10^(6)and 46.60±3.62μm,respectively,which were significantly greater than one-aged oysters(5.86×10^(5),40.26±3.52μm).The hatching parameters(fertilized egg size,fertilization rate,and hatching rate)and larval growth performance(D-stage veliger and veliger)were similar and did not differ significantly(P>0.05),and after metamorphosis,there was also no significant difference in shell height size at 40 days of age(P>0.05).Therefore,there was no significant effect of age on reproduction,larval development,and the early growth of Kumamoto *** results could provide a basis for parental sources and proper traits for Kumamoto oyster selection,which is beneficial to developing and utilizing this excellent germplasm resource.

STING(also known as MITA)is an adaptor protein that mediates cytoplasmic DNA-triggered signaling,and aberrant activation of STING/MITA by cytosolic self-DNA or gain-of-function mutations causes severe ***,we show that STING-mediated inflammation and autoimmunity are promoted by RNF115 and alleviated by the RNF115 inhibitor disulfiram(DSF).Knockout of RNF115 or treatment with DSF significantly inhibit systemic inflammation and autoimmune lethality and restore immune cell development in Trex1^(–/–)mice and STING^(N153S/WT) bone marrow chimeric *** addition,knockdown or pharmacological inhibition of RNF115 substantially downregulate the expression of IFN-α,IFN-γand proinflammatory cytokines in PBMCs from patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)who exhibit high concentrations of dsDNA in peripheral ***,knockout or inhibition of RNF115 impair the oligomerization and Golgi localization of STING in various types of cells transfected with cGAMP and in organs and cells from Trex1^(–/–)***,knockout of RNF115 inhibits the activation and Golgi localization of STINGN153S as well as the expression of proinflammatory cytokines in myeloid cells but not in endothelial cells or *** together,these findings highlight the RNF115-mediated cell type-specific regulation of STING and STINGN153S and provide potential targeted intervention strategies for STING-related autoimmune diseases.

BACKGROUND Multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria,exacerbated by excessive use of antimicrobials and immunosuppressants,are a major health *** To study the clinical efficacy and safety of colistin sulfate in the treatment of carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative bacilli-induced pneumonia,and to provide theoretical reference for clinical diagnosis and *** This retrospective analysis involved 54 patients with Gram-negative bacilli pneumonia admitted to intensive care unit of The General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army of China from August 2020 to June *** bacteriological culture,the patients'airway secretions were collected to confirm the presence of Gram-negative *** patients were divided into the experimental and control groups according to the medication *** research group consisted of 28 patients who received polymyxin sulfate combined with other drugs through intravenous,nebulization,or intravenous combined with nebulization,with a daily dosage of 1.5–3.0 million *** control group consisted of 26 patients who received standard dosages of other antibiotics(including sulbactam sodium for injection,cefoperazone sodium sulbactam for injection,tigecycline,meropenem,or vaborbactam).RESULTS Of the 28 patients included in the research group,26 patients showed improvement,treatment was ineffective for two patients,and one patient died,with the treatment efficacy rate of 92.82%.Of the 26 patients in the control group,18 patients improved,treatment was ineffective for eight patients,and two patients died,with the treatment efficacy rate of 54.9%;significant difference was observed between the two groups(P<0.05).The levels of white blood cell(WBC),procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)in both groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of WBC,PCT,and CRP in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group
