The discovery of ubiquitous habitable extrasolar planets,combined with revolutionary advances in instrumentation and observational capabilities,has ushered in a renaissance in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence(SETI).Large scale SETI activities are now underway at numerous international *** Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)is the largest single-aperture radio telescope in the world,and is well positioned to conduct sensitive searches for radio emission indicative of *** is one of the five key science goals specified in the original FAST project plan.A collaboration with the Breakthrough Listen Initiative was initiated in 2016 with a joint statement signed both by *** Yan,the then director of National Astronomical Observatories,Chinese Academy of Sciences(NAOC),and *** Worden,Chairman of the Breakthrough Prize *** this paper,we highlight some of the unique features of FAST that will allow for novel SETI *** identify and describe three different signal types indicative of a technological source,namely,narrow band,wide-band artificially dispersed and modulated ***,we propose observations with FAST to achieve sensitivities never before *** nearby exoplanets,such as TESS targets,FAST will be sensitive to an EIRP of 1.9×1011 W,well within the reach of current human *** the Andromeda Galaxy,FAST will be able to detect any Kardashev type II or more advanced civilization there.

Ciliopathies are multisystem disorders characterized by the dysfunction of motile and/or non-motile cilia,which are microtubule-based structures protruding from the cell surface and function in cell motility and *** clinical manifestations of ciliopathies include retinal degeneration,mental retardation,renal abnormality,obesity,and skeletal dysplasia[1,2].Fibrosis of vital organs,characterized by the extensive deposition of extracellular matrix components,represents another complication frequently observed in patients and animal models of ciliopathies[3].

Investigation and mitigation of Mott neuronal oscillation fluctuation in spiking neural network

Mott devices, featuring low hardware cost and high energy efficiency, have been demonstrated as a key oscillatory element in artificial neurons to enable spiking neural networks(SNNs) such as conversionbased SNNs(CSNNs). However, there will be inevitably non-ideal fluctuation in the oscillation behavior,causing the accuracy degradation of networks. In this paper, we investigate the Mott neuronal oscillation fluctuation(NOF) through experiments and modeling. The results show that the NOF phenomenon conforms to Gaussian distribution and originates from thermal fluctuation induced switching voltage variations. We construct a two-layer CSNN for image recognition tasks to study the NOF effect and propose the activation function boundary(AFB) method to strengthen the stability of the network. The results indicate that AFB can improve the accuracy of CSNN by up to 15.5% by tightening output distribution.

MOSS:An Open Conversational Large Language Model

Conversational large language models(LLMs)such as ChatGPT and GPT-4 have recently exhibited remarkable capabilities across various domains,capturing widespread attention from the *** facilitate this line of research,in this paper,we report the development of MOSS,an open-sourced conversational LLM that contains 16 B parameters and can perform a variety of instructions in multi-turn interactions with *** base model of MOSS is pre-trained on large-scale unlabeled English,Chinese,and code *** optimize the model for dialogue,we generate 1.1 M synthetic conversations based on user prompts collected through our earlier versions of the model *** then perform preference-aware training on preference data annotated from AI *** results on real-world use cases and academic benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed *** addition,we present an effective practice to augment MOSS with several external *** the development of MOSS,we have established a complete technical roadmap for large language models from pre-training,supervised fine-tuning to alignment,verifying the feasibility of chatGPT under resource-limited conditions and providing a reference for both the academic and industrial *** weights and code are publicly available at https://***/OpenMOSS/MOSS.

基于光学成像探测的仅测角高轨空间物体接近感知方法

提出一种仅利用任务航天器光学成像探测设备给出的测角信息进行高轨空间物体接近行为感知的方法。首先,分析了空间物体相对任务航天器的方位变化规律,得到物体接近时在任务航天器轨道坐标系下方位角正切值随时间波动幅值逐渐增大;其次,分析了在光学成像探测设备成像过程中,逆光与探测设备灵敏度对空间物体可见性的影响,得到物体可见弧段在每个轨道周期内具有一定的相似性;进一步地,根据物体相对方位及可见性的变化规律,设计了一种空间物体接近行为感知方法,利用物体观测量的轨道周期一致性进行多段观测量关联,拟合方位角正切值随时间波动趋势,预测波动极值并统计极值变化规律,实现物体接近行为感知;最后,仿真验证了该方法具备不依赖距离信息感知高轨空间物体相对任务航天器接近行为的能力,仅利用3个轨道周期内、每周期有效弧段大于30 min的高轨空间物体指向测量信息判断物体相对任务航天器存在接近行为的准确率优于96%。结果证明:该方法通过赋能任务航天器常用光学成像探测设备高效费比地实现航天器自我防护能力有效提升,可普遍用于高轨航天器任务。

The relationship between extension of lower crust and displacement of the shelf break

With deep sea petroleum explorations become more and more popular,some geological phenomena have emerged:extension of lower crust and upper crust is inhomogeneous;shelf break has been moved rapidly after crustal *** geological phenomena are important to the continental margin *** investigate the thinning of the whole crust and the contribution of the upper crust versus the lower crust to the crustal stretching since the Cenozoic,we calculated the stretching factors of the upper and the lower crust based on the 13 seismic lines in the Baiyun Sag from *** results indicated that the whole crustal thickness decreases seaward while the whole crustal stretching factor increases from shelf to *** calculations showed that the lower crustal stretching factor is higher than that of the upper crust in the Baiyun *** the Cenozoic,deformation of the Baiyun Sag is controlled mainly by ductile shearing rather than brittle *** on the numerical modeling,we can conclude the initial crust in the Baiyun Sag is thermally *** stretching factor(β)of the lower crust increases from the north to the south of the continental margin,indicating two stretching centers:the Baiyun Sag and the Liwan *** geometry of the shelf break and theβisoline trap have the similar trend in 23.8 and 13.8 Ma,both located in the intense deforming zone of the lower crust,and therefore we conclude the stretching and flowing of the lower crust cause the displacement of the shelf break before and after 23.8 Ma.

考虑到现有综合能源系统多目标优化存在主观性,文中提出一种基于非合作博弈理论的单主体多目标协同优化方法。首先,建立耦合配电网络、配气网络和能源站的电-气互联综合能源系统模型。为使优化调度结果更贴近现实,在配气网模型中采用可变压缩比的压缩机模型,并考虑其非线性耗量特性。其次,基于非合作博弈理论,将能源站单一利益主体的经济性目标和环保性目标视为完全平等且理性的虚拟博弈者,其策略空间由系统内各设备约束组成。再次,为确保博弈模型存在纳什均衡解,在新增辅助变量和约束作用下将收益函数(目标函数)转为拟凸的可微函数。采用凸松弛方法处理模型中非凸非线性约束,并提出非线性迭代策略加速松弛收紧。为便于求解出纳什均衡,使用Nikaido-Isoda函数重构收益函数,将原模型转变为全局最优问题。最后,通过算例验证了所提方法的有效性。
