Electrochemical reconstruction of non-noble metal-based heterostructure nanorod arrays electrodes for highly stable anion exchange membrane seawater electrolysis

Direct seawater electrolysis for hydrogen production has been regarded as a viable route to utilize surplus renewable energy and address the climate ***,the harsh electrochemical environment of seawater,particularly the presence of aggressive Cl^(-),has been proven to be prone to parasitic chloride ion oxidation and corrosion reactions,thus restricting seawater electrolyzer ***,hierarchical structure(Ni,Fe)O(OH)@NiCoS nanorod arrays(NAs)catalysts with heterointerfaces and localized oxygen vacancies were synthesized at nickel foam substrates via the combination of hydrothermal and annealing methods to boost seawater *** hiera rchical nanostructure of NiCoS NAs enhanced electrode charge transfer rate and active surface area to accelerate oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and generated sulfate gradient layers to repulsive aggressive Cl^(-).The fabricated heterostructure and vacancies of(Ni,Fe)O(OH)tuned catalyst electronic structure into an electrophilic state to enhance the binding affinity of hydroxyl intermediates and facilitate the structural transformation into amorphousγ-NiFeOOH for promoting ***,through operando electrochemistry techniques,we found that theγ-NiFeOOH possessing an unsaturated coordination environment and lattice-oxygen-participated OER mechanism can minimize electrode Cl^(-)corrosion enabled by stabilizing the adsorption of OH*intermediates,making it one of the best OER catalysts in the seawater medium reported to ***,these catalysts can deliver current densities of 100 and 500 mA cm-2.or boosting OER at minimal overpotentials of 2.5and 316 mV,respectively,and thus prevent chloride ion oxidation ***,a highly stable anion exchange membrane(AEM)seawater electrolyzer based on the non-noble metal heterostructure electrodes reached a record low degradation rate under 100μV h-1at constant industrial current densities of 400 and 600 mA cm-2.ver 300 h,which exhibits a promi

The Lamiaceae family is renowned for its terpenoid-based medicinal components,but Leonurus,which has traditional medicinal uses,stands out for its alkaloid-rich ***,the principal active compound found in Leonurus,has demonstrated promising effects in reducing blood lipids and treating ***,the biosynthetic pathway of leonurine remains largely ***,we present the chromosome-level genome sequence assemblies of Leonurus japonicus,known for its high leonurine production,and Leonurus sibiricus,characterized by very limited leonurine *** integrating genomics,RNA sequencing,metabolomics,and enzyme activity assay data,we constructed the leonurine biosynthesis pathway and identified the arginine decarboxylase(ADC),uridine diphosphate glucosyltransferase(UGT),and serine carboxypeptidase-like(SCPL)acyltransferase enzymes that catalyze key reactions in this *** analyses revealed that the UGT–SCPL gene cluster evolved by gene duplication in the ancestor of Leonurus and neofunctionalization of SCPL in ***,which contributed to the accumulation of leonurine specifically in ***,our comprehensive study illuminates leonurine biosynthesis and its evolution in Leonurus.

Resol type phenolic resin/silver nanocomposite was prepared by in-situ reduction method, in which the curing of phenolic resin and the formation of silver nano-particles took place simultaneously. The silver ions were reduced completely to silver nanoparticles, which were dispersed homogeneously in the resin matrix with narrow size distribution.

Owing to frequent environmental monitoring of tetrabromobisphenol-A(TBBPA)analogs and their potential ecotoxicological effects on organisms,analysis of trace levels of TBBPA analogs with more non-polar and less water-soluble characteristics is of great significance for studying their environmental behaviors and toxic ***,a fast and sensitive technique is developed for directly detecting aqueous TBBPA analogs,including TBBPA mono(allyl ether)(TBBPA-MAE),TBBPA mono(2.3-dibromopropyl ether)(TBBPAMDBPE),TBBPA mono(2.hydroxyethyl ether)(TBBPA-MHEE)and TBBPA mono(glycidyl ether)(TBBPAMGE),by combining solid phase microextraction(SPME)based on porous covalent organic frameworks(Porous-COFs)with constant flow desorption ionization-mass spectrometry(CFDI-MS).As chromatographic separation is replaced by constant flow desorption,each sample can be analyzed within 7 *** hierarchical porous structures(microporous,mesoporous and macroporous)of COFs lead to the enhanced mass transfer and the easier accessibility of active sites to TBBPA analogs,so that the extraction efficiency is 2.3-3.6 times higher than pure microporous COFs,and far superior to commercial *** detection limit and quantification limit of this method are 0.1-1 and 0.4-3.2.ng/L,*** levels of TBBPA analogs from 5.0 ng/L to 66 ng/L have been successfully detected in river and sea water samples,showing great potential for subsequent studies of their environmental behaviors and toxicological effects.

Oriented and non-oriented Teflon films, which were found to have the same crystalline structure, but different surface morphologies, were used to sandwich poly（butylene adipate）（PBA） films during isothermal crystallization. It was found that both the Teflon surface structure and the PBA polymorphic structure are the determining factors to induce epitaxial crystallization. The oriented Teflon film was able to induce epitaxial crystallization of PBA α crystal, while the non-oriented Teflon did not induce any epitaxial crystallization of PBA. Epitaxial crystallization did not occurred for PBA β crystals between neither the oriented nor the non-oriented Teflon films. The enzymatic degradation rate of PBA films was not determined by the epitaxial crystallization, in fact it was still dependent on the polymorphic crystal structure of PBA. The morphological changes of PBA films after enzymatic degradation confirmed again that the epitaxial crystallization only occurred for the PBA film with α crystal structure which was produced by being sandwiched between oriented Teflon films, and it happened only on the surface of PBA films.

Carrier lifetime is one of the most fundamental physical parameters that characterizes the average time of carrier recombination in any *** control of carrier lifetime is the key to optimizing the device function by tuning the electro-optical conversion quantum yield,carrier diffusion length,carrier collection process,*** now,the prevailing modulation methods are mainly by defect engineering and temperature control,which have limitations in the modulation direction and amplitude of the carrier ***,we report an effective modulation on the ultrafast dynamics of photoexcited carriers in two-dimensional(2.)MoS2.monolayer by uniaxial tensile *** combination of optical ultrafast pump-probe technique and time-resolved photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy reveals that the carrier dynamics through Auger scattering,carrier-phonon scattering,and radiative recombination keep immune to the *** strikingly,the uniaxial tensile strain weakens the trapping of photoexcited carriers by defects and therefore prolongs the corresponding carrier lifetime up to 440%per percent applied *** results open a new avenue to enlarge the carrier lifetime of 2. MoS2.which will facilitate its applications in high-efficient optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices.

Azvudine(FNC)is a nucleoside analog that inhibits HIV-1 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRp).Recently,we discovered FNC an agent against SARS-CoV-2.and have taken it into Phase III trial for COVID-19 *** monophosphate analog inhibited SARS-CoV-2.and HCoV-OC43 coronavirus with an EC_(50) between 1.2.and 4.3 μM,depending on viruses or cells,and selective index(SI)in 15-83 *** administration of FNC in rats revealed a substantial thymus-homing feature,with FNC triphosphate(the active form)concentrated in the thymus and peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC).Treating SARS-CoV-2.infected rhesus macaques with FNC(0.07 mg/kg, qd,orally)reduced viral load,recuperated the thymus,improved lymphocyte profiles,alleviated in flammation and orga n damage,and lessened grou nd・glass opacities in chest *** gle-cell seque ncing suggested the promotion of thymus function by FNC.A randomized,single-arm clinical trial of FNC on compassionate use(n=31)showed that oral FNC(5 mg,qd)cured all COVID-19 patients,with 100%viral ribonucleic acid negative conversion in 3.2.±2.2. days(range:1-9 days)and 100%hospital discharge rate in 9.00±4.93 days(range:2.2. days).The side-effect of FNC is minor and transient dizziness and nausea in 16.12.(5/31)***,FNC might cure COVID-19 through its anti-SARS-CoV-2.activity concentrated in the thymus,followed by promoted immunity.

The ^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross section is very important in basic nuclear physics and applications based on the Th/U fuel *** the time-of-flight method and a multi-cell fast-fission ionization chamber,a novel measurement of the^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross sec-tion relative to^(2.5)U in the 1–2.0 MeV range was performed at the china Spallation Neutron Source Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).The fission event-neutron energy spectra of^(2.2.Th and^(2.5)U fission cells were measured in the single-bunch *** 2.2.h/2.5U fission cross-sectional ratios were obtained,and the measurement uncertainties were 2.5–3.7%for energies in the 2.2. MeV range and 3.6–6.2.for energies in the 2.–2.0 MeV ***^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross section was obtained by introducing the standard cross section of^(2.5)U(n,f).The results were compared with those of previous theoreti-cal calculations,measurements,and *** measured 2.2.h fission cross section agreed with the main evaluation results in terms of the experimental uncertainty,and 2.2.h fission resonances were observed in the 1–3 MeV *** present results provide^(2.2.Th(n,f)cross-sectional data for the evaluation and design of Th/U cycle nuclear systems.
