Software Defect Prediction Method Based on Stable Learning

The purpose of software defect prediction is to identify defect-prone code modules to assist software quality assurance teams with the appropriate allocation of resources and *** previous software defect prediction studies,transfer learning was effective in solving the problem of inconsistent project data ***,target projects often lack sufficient data,which affects the performance of the transfer learning *** addition,the presence of uncorrelated features between projects can decrease the prediction accuracy of the transfer learning *** address these problems,this article propose a software defect prediction method based on stable learning(SDP-SL)that combines code visualization techniques and residual *** method first transforms code files into code images using code visualization techniques and then constructs a defect prediction model based on these code *** the model training process,target project data are not required as prior *** the principles of stable learning,this paper dynamically adjusted the weights of source project samples to eliminate dependencies between features,thereby capturing the“invariance mechanism”within the *** approach explores the genuine relationship between code defect features and labels,thereby enhancing defect prediction *** evaluate the performance of SDP-SL,this article conducted comparative experiments on 10 open-source projects in the PROMISE *** experimental results demonstrated that in terms of the F-measure,the proposed SDP-SL method outperformed other within-project defect prediction methods by 2.11%-44.03%.In cross-project defect prediction,the SDP-SL method provided an improvement of 5.89%-25.46% in prediction performance compared to other cross-project defect prediction ***,SDP-SL can effectively enhance within-and cross-project defect predictions.

A statistical classification of the unassociated gamma-ray sources in the second Fermi Large Area Telescope Catalog

With the assistance of the identified/associated sources in the second Fermi Large Area Telescope （LAT） catalog, we analyze and resolve the spatial distribution and the distributions of the gamma-ray spectral and variability indices of the remaining 575 unassociated Fermi LAT sources. Consequently, it is suggested that the unassociated sources could statistically consist of Galactic supernova remnants/pulsar wind nebulae, BL Lacertae objects, fiat spectrum radio quasars and other types of active galaxies with fractions of 25%, 29%, 41% and 5%, respectively.

Revisiting the event rate of short GRBs and estimating their detectable number within the Advanced LIGO horizon

The redshift and luminosity distributions of 36 Swift short gamma-ray bursts(GRBs) are fitted by connecting their event rates with cosmic star formation rates using power-law distributed delay times f(τ) ∝τ-1, where a broken-power-law luminosity function is assumed and some empirical observational selection effects are taken into account. As a result, the most-likely model parameters are constrained to be ν1 = 0.91, ν2 = 1.66 as power-law indices, with a break at Lb= 2.51 × 1051 erg s-1 for the luminosity function and τc= 6.0 Gyr for a typical gravitational wave decay timescale of the binary orbit. The corresponding local rate of short GRBs is found to be 3-4 Gpc-3 yr-1. With these parameters, the detectable numbers of short GRBs are estimated within the horizon of Advanced LIGO.

Fluoroacetate dehalogenases(FAcD),a homodimeric enzyme,catalyzes the conversion of fluoroacetic acid to glycolic acid(GoA).It has been proved that the enzyme has a half-of-the-site ***,its catalytic(C)subunit converts the first substrate to a covalent intermediate;then,the non-catalytic(NC)subunit binds a second substrate and promotes the conversion of the intermediate in the C subunit into the final *** the release of the product,the C subunit becomes the NC subunit,and the previous NC subunit becomes the C *** elucidate the detailed mechanism behind this cooperative catalysis,we have conducted microsecond-scale MD simulations along the reaction *** simulations indicate that the substrate in the NC subunit induces W185 and Y141 adopting an open conformation in the C *** opening of W185(C)facilitates the entry of catalytic water,enhancing the catalytic activity for product formation,while the opening of Y141(C)creates an unfavorable environment for product binding,promoting its *** interaction network analysis reveals that the substrate in the NC subunit can induce conformational changes through a conserved water chain at the interface.

Elaborating strengthen mechanism of Pt-Ir solid solution superalloy at finite temperature

Pt-Ir alloy is potential superalloys used above 1300℃because of their high strength and creep ***,the ductility of Pt-Ir alloy has rapidly deteriorated with the increase of Ir,resulting in poor *** work quantitatively evaluated the solid solution strengthening(SSS)and grain refinement strengthening(GRS)of Pt-Ir alloy using first-principles calculations combined with experimental ***,the stretching force constants in the second nearest neighbor region(SFC^(2nd))of pure Ir(193.7 eV·nm^(-2))are 3.40 times that of pure Pt(57.0 eV·nm^(-2)),i.e.,the interatomic interaction is greatly enhanced with the increase of Ir content,which leads to the decrease of ductility,and modulus misfit plays a dominant role in ***,the physical mechanisms responsible for the hardness(H_(V))of Pt-Ir alloy,using the power-law-scaled function of electron work function coupled SSS and GRS,are attributed to the electron redistribution caused by different Ir ***,a thorough assessment of the thermodynamic characteristics of Pt-Ir binary alloy was conducted,culminating in development of a mapping model that effectively relates enmposition,temperature and *** results revealed that the compressive strength incrcases with the Ir content,and the highest strength was observed in Pt_(0.25)Ir_(0.75).This study provides valuable insights into the Pt-Ir alloy system.

Capture Efficiency Analysis in the Circular Restricted Three-body Problem

Temporary capture efficiency is studied in the framework of the circular restricted three-body problem in two ***, a non-uniform distribution of test particles around the secondary's orbit is obtained by fully accounting the secondary's gravitational influence. Second, the capture efficiency is computed based on the non-uniform distribution. Several factors influencing the result are discussed. By studying the capture efficiency in the circular restricted three-body problem of different mass ratios, a power-law relation between the capture efficiency(p) and the mass ratio(μ) is established, which is given by p ≈ 0.27 × μ^(0.53), within the range of 3.0035 ×10^(-6)≤ μ ≤ 3.0034 × 10^(-5). Taking the Sun–Earth system as an example, the influence from the orbit eccentricity of the secondary on the non-uniform distribution and the capture efficiency is studied. Our studies find that the secondary's orbit eccentricity has a negative influence on the capture efficiency.

Observational signature of a wind bubble environment for double neutron star mergers

During the in-spiral stage of a compact binary, a wind bubble could be blown into the interstellar medium, if electromagnetic radiation due to the binary orbital motion is strong enough. Therefore, shortduration gamma-ray bursts(SGRBs) due to double neutron star mergers would in principle happen in a wind bubble environment, which can influence the propagation of the SGRB jet and consequent afterglow emission. By calculating the dynamics and synchrotron radiation of the jet-driven external shock, we reveal that an abrupt jump could appear in the afterglow light curves of SGRBs and the observational time of the jump is dependent on the viewing angle. This light curve jump provides an observational signature to constrain the radius of the wind bubble and thus the power of the electromagnetic radiation of the binary,by combining with gravitational wave detection.
