Literature study on traditional Chinese medicine syndromes after renal transplantation

Aluminum foam as buffer layer used in soft rock tunnel with large deformation

The squeezing deformation of surrounding rock is an important factor restricting the safe construction and long-term operation of tunnels when a tunnel passes through soft strata with high ground *** such soft rock geological conditions,the large deformation of the surrounding rock can easily lead to the failure of supporting structures,including shotcrete cracks,spalling,and steel arch *** improve the lining support performance during the large deformation of squeezed surrounding rock,this work selects aluminum foam with densities of 0.25 g/cm3,0.42 g/cm3 and 0.61 g/cm3 as the buffer layer material and carries out uniaxial confined compression *** the evaluation and analysis of energy absorption and the comparison of the yield pressure of aluminum foam with those of other cushioning materials and yield pressure support systems,the strength,deformation and energy absorption of aluminum foam with a density of 0.25 g/cm3 meet the yield pressure performance *** numerical model of the buffer layer yielding support system is then established via the finite element analysis software ABAQUS,and the influence of the buffer layer setting on the lining support is *** with the conventional support scheme,the addition of an aluminum foam buffer layer can reduce the stress and deformation of the primary support and secondary *** maximum and minimum principal stresses of the primary support are reduced by 13%and 15%,*** maximum and minimum principal stresses of the secondary lining are reduced by 15%and 12%,respectively,and the displacement deformation of the secondary lining position is reduced by 15%.In summary,the application of aluminum foam buffer layer can reduce the stress and deformation of the primary support and secondary lining,improve the stress safety of the support and reduce the deformation of the support.

A versatile synthetic strategy towards rare earth based metal-organic frameworks

Rare earth metal-organic frameworks (RE-MOFs) have drawn wide attention owing to diverse network structures and various application ***,due to the unpredictable formation of the nodes,it is still challenging to design novel RE-MOFs.A novel versatile strategy was developed employing a RE-acetate complex (RE2(CH3COO)6·4H2O) as a precursor to construct RE-MOFs.2D RE-MOFs (RE-DBP) and 3D RE-MOFs (RE-TCPP) could be obtained by using dicarboxylic porphyrin ligands H2DBP and tetracarboxylic porphyrin ligands H2TCPP,*** RE-MOFs were further synthesized to verify the universality of the *** crystalline RE-MOFs could also be prepared at room temperature via the developed strategy,which could significantly promote large-scale preparation and practical application of *** proof of the concept,the performance of porphyrin-based RE-MOFs was investigated in the photocatalytic cycloaddition of CO2with *** the RE-DBP(Co) MOFs,Tb-DBP(Co) exhibited the best photocatalytic performance,which was also greater than that of the corresponding 3D MOF Tb-TCPP(Co) due to the optimal 2D structure and thus the accelerated photogenerated charge separation and transfer *** work not only provides a novel versatile strategy to design and develop RE-MOFs,but also proposes a promising approach for the potential bulk production of RE-MOFs at room temperature.

BACKgROUND Adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD)is a rare autoinflammatory disease charac-terized by nonspecific symptoms such as fever,rash,sore throat and *** paper reports a clinical case of AOSD successfully treated with bo’s abdo-minal acupuncture(BAA).CASE SUMMARY We report a 20-year-old man who suffered from cold exposure,presenting with high fever,rash,sore throat,arthralgia,and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate,leukocytosis with neutrophilic predominance,elevated ferritin,elevated C-reactive protein,and negative rheumatoid *** was diagnosed with AOSD based on the Yamaguchi *** treatment with traditional Chinese medi-cine(TCM)decoction and prednisone acetate tablets,there was some alleviation of sore throat,joint and muscle pain,and fever,but he still had persistent low-grade fever,rash,sore throat and *** went to the TCM acupuncture outpatient department to receive *** acupoints Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),0.5 cm below Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6),guanyuan(CV4),bilateral Qixue(KI13),bilateral Huaroumen(ST24),bilateral Shangfengshidian(AB1)and bilateral Daheng(SP15)were *** 3 months treatment,all symptoms disappeared,and the laboratory examination returned to normal *** did not take glucocorticoids or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs afterwards,and no relapse was observed during the 3-year follow-up *** BAA can be used as a complementary medical approach for treatment of AOSD.

As the elderly population expands,the pursuit of therapeutics to reduce morbidity and extend lifespan has become increasingly *** an FDA-approved drug for chronic cholestatic liver diseases,tauroursodeoxycholic acid(TUDCA),a natural bile acid,offers additional health benefits beyond liver ***,we show that TUDCA extends the lifespan and healthspan of ***,oral supplementation of TUDCA improves fitness in old mice,including clinically relevant phenotypes,exercise capacity and cognitive ***,TUDCA treatment drives broad transcriptional changes correlated with anti-aging ***,we discover that TUDCA targets the chaperone HSP90 to promote its protein refolding *** collaboration further alleviates aging-induced endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress and facilitates protein homeostasis,thus offering resistance to *** summary,our findings uncover new molecular links between an endogenous metabolite and protein homeostasis,and propose a novel anti-aging strategy that could improve both lifespan and healthspan.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis,a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes.A fungal metabolon,comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe g,is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide *** notoamide E as a substance,Spe F/Spe g metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation,followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium ***,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol *** provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

Renal anastomotic hemangioma(AH)is a rare,benign vascular tumor with unique histopathological features,a disease that is clinically rare,and existing clinical cases offer different treatment *** reported in the text,this is a very unusual case of renal AH with AH secondary to residual renal tissue after renal clear cell carcinoma,describing a rare renal AH and a history of renal clear cell carcinoma,including ultrasound,computed tomography and magnetic re-sonance ***,the available imaging data and the literature do not provide an effective basis for the diagnosis of the disease,raising the lack of un-derstanding and misdiagnosis,where the patient eventually underwent neph-rectomy,but the author is not the most appropriate surgical *** po-stoperative pathological results of the patient are benign lesions,and it is unde-niable that nephrectomy is suspected to be *** reading the literature,we provide different insights into the treatment of the patient,and we hope that this paper can provide some help for the future clinical diagnosis and treatment.
