Effects of ultrasonic-assisted extraction on bioactive compounds,volatile flavors and antioxidant activities of vine tea water extracts

Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in *** vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low commercial ***:This study investigates the influence of different extraction methods(room temperature water extraction,boiling water extraction,ultrasonic-assisted room temperature water extraction,and ultrasonic-assisted boiling water extraction,referred to as room temperature water extraction(RE),boiling water extraction(BE),ultrasonic assistance at room temperature water extraction(URE),and ultrasonic assistance in boiling water extraction(UBE))on the yield,dihydromyricetin(DMY)content,free amino acid composition,volatile aroma components,and antioxidant properties of vine tea ***:A notable influence of extraction temperature on the yield of vine tea extracts(P<0.05),with BE yielding the highest at 43.13±0.26%,higher than that of RE(34.29±0.81%).Ultrasound-assisted extraction significantly increased the DMY content of the extracts(P<0.05),whereas DMY content in the RE extracts was 59.94±1.70%,that of URE reached 66.14±2.78%.Analysis revealed 17 amino acids,with L-serine and aspartic acid being the most abundant in the extracts,nevertheless ultrasound-assisted extraction reduced total free amino acid *** chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis demonstrated an increase in the diversity and quantity of compounds in the vine tea water extracts obtained through ultrasonic-assisted ***,69 and 68 volatile compounds were found in URE and UBE extracts,which were higher than the number found in RE and BE *** vitro,antioxidant activity assessments revealed varying antioxidant capacities among different extraction methods,with RE exhibiting the highest DPPH scavenging rate,URE leading in ABTS•+free radical scavenging,and BE demonstrating superior ferric ion reducing antioxidant ***:The findings suggest that extraction methods signi

Evans blue staining to detect deep blood vessels in peripheral retina for observing retinal pathology in early-stage diabetic rats

AIM: To observe and compare the statistical significance of superficial and deep vascular leakage in the pathological changes of the diabetic rats retina after the Evans blue(EB) perfusion, and utilize the modified whole-retina spreading method to make the slides while protecting the periphery of the retina. METHODS: The Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into 6 groups. Each group named as the normal groups for 4, 8, and 12 wk and the diabetic groups for 4, 8, and 12 wk. The EB was injected into the cardiovascular system of the rats at the different time points. The retina of each group was obtained for ***: The superficial vascular leakage was found in all 6 groups. The size of leakage area of superficial retinal blood vessels was(0.54±0.23)%,(0.65±0.11)%,and(0.58±0.10)% in normal group. No notable leakage was found in the deep blood vessels [(0.03±0.04)%,(0.03±0.05)%, and(0.03±0.05)%]. The deep retinal vascular leakage was found in the peripheral retina of diabetic rats. The size of leakage area of superficial retinal blood vessels in diabetic group were(0.53±0.22)%,(0.69±0.16)%, and(0.52±0.11)%. The leakage areas of deep blood vessels were(0.54±0.50)%,(1.42±0.16)%, and(1.80±0.07)% at 4, 8, and 12 wk, respectively. There was a statistically difference of the leakage area between the 8 th week and the 4 th week of diabetes group(P=0.003). The statistically significant difference between the diabetes and the control groups was noted at 4 wk and 8 wk(P<0.001).CONCLUSION: The main retinal pathological changes of early-stage diabetic rats are the vascular leakage of the periphery of deep retina. Diabetic rats modeled after 8 wk have semi-quantitative statistical difference compared with the normal rats, thus early intervention treatment research can start at this time point.

Constructing electrocatalytic overall reaction technology to couple the electrosynthesis of adipic acid with energy-saving hydrogen production is of significant for sustainable energy ***,the development of highly-active bifunctional electrocatalysts remains a ***,3D hierarchical nickel-copper alloying arrays with dendritic morphology are manufactured by a simple electrodeposition process,standing for the excellent bifunctional electrocatalyst towards the co-production of adipic acid and H2from cyclohexanone and *** membrane-free flow electrolyzer of Cu0.81Ni0.19/NF shows the superior electrooxidation performance of ketone-alcohol（KA） oil with high faradaic efficiencies of over 90% for adipic acid and H2,robust stability over 200 h as well as a high yield of 0.6 mmol h-1for adipic acid at 100 mA ***-situ spectroscopy indicates the Cu0.81Ni0.19alloy contributes to forming more active NiOOH species to involve in the conversion of cyclohexanone to adipic acid,while the proposed reaction pathway undergoes the 2-hydroxycyclohexanone and 2,7-oxepanedione ***,the theoretical calculations confirm that the optimal electronic interaction,boosted reaction kinetics as well as improved adsorption free energy of reaction intermediates,synergistically endows Cu0.81Ni0.19alloy with superior bifunctional performance.

Traumatic spinal cord injury(SCI)is a devastating exogenous injury with long-lasting consequences and a leading cause of death and disability *** in assistive technology,rehabilitative interventions,and the ability to identify and intervene in secondary conditions have significantly increased the long-term survival rate of SCI patients,with some people even living well into their seventh or eighth *** survival changes have led neurotrauma researchers to examine how SCI interacts with brain *** health and epidemiological data showed that patients with long-term SCI can have a lower life expectancy and quality of life,along with a higher risk of comorbidities and complications.

The core-mantle differentiation process plays a pivotal role in redistributing material on a massive scale,shaping the long-term evolution of rocky *** this process is crucial for gaining insights into the accretion and evolution of planets like ***,the details of Mars’s core-mantle differentiation remain poorly understood due to limited compositional data for its core and *** this study,we aim to constrain the Martian core-mantle differentiation by examining FeO partitioning between core and mantle materials,incorporating improved Martian compositional data from the InSight *** ab initio thermodynamic techniques,we calculated the FeO partition coefficient between liquid iron and silicate *** results align with previous studies while also clarifying the factors affecting partitioning *** on these findings and estimates of oxygen concentration in the core,we infer that Mars’s core and mantle likely differentiated at temperatures above 2440 K and pressures ranging from 14 to 22 *** these estimates are higher than previously reported,they are consistent with observed abundances of moderately siderophile elements and Mars’s accretion models.

Residual symmetry and interactions between solitons and periodic waves of the Drinfeld-Sokolov-Satsuma-Hirota system

In this paper,the Drinfeld-Sokolov-Satsuma-Hirota(DSSH)system is studied by using residual symmetry and the consistent Riccati expansion(CRE)method,*** residual symmetry of the DSSH system is localized to lie point symmetry in a properly prolonged system,based on which we get a new Bäcklund transformation for this *** symmetry reduction solutions of the DSSH system are obtained by applying the classical lie group approach on the prolonged ***,the DSSH system proves to be CRE integrable and new interesting interaction solutions between solitons and periodic waves are generated and analyzed.

Study on the One-year Accuracy of Pulsar Time-scale

Determining accurate pulsar timing model parameters is essential for establishing TT(PT), a realization of Terrestrial Time (TT) based on a pulsar timescale (PT). This study discusses the impact of different data spans on the accuracy of pulsar timing model parameters when determining pulsar timing model parameters. Using observations of PSR J0437-4715, J1909-3744, J1713+0747, and J1744-1134 from the second data release of the International Pulsar Timing Array (IPTA II, Version A), we compare the accuracy of the timing model parameters determined by these observations with different data spans. The results show for PSR J0437-4715, J1713+0747,and J1909-3744, the amplitude fluctuations of rotational frequency remain within 10-15, 10-14, and 10-14Hz,respectively, when the data spans for determining pulsar timing model parameters exceed 13, 14, and 6 ***, the one-year accuracy of TT(PT) is crucial for its application in timekeeping. By comparing the frequency deviations of TT(PT) relative to TT(BIPM) under both ideal (kr) and actual (kp) conditions across different data spans, we find that when the data span reaches the duration above, the accuracy of TT(PT) surpasses that of TT(TAI) under ideal conditions, slightly inferior under actual conditions. This suggests with improved observational technologies, the accuracy of TT(PT) can be further enhanced.

IoT Empowered Early Warning of Transmission line Galloping Based on Integrated Optical Fiber Sensing and Weather Forecast Time Series Data

Iced transmission line galloping poses a significant threat to the safety and reliability of power systems,leading directly to line tripping,disconnections,and power *** early warning methods of iced transmission line galloping suffer from issues such as reliance on a single data source,neglect of irregular time series,and lack of attention-based closed-loop feedback,resulting in high rates of missed and false *** address these challenges,we propose an Internet of Things(IoT)empowered early warning method of transmission line galloping that integrates time series data from optical fiber sensing and weather ***,the method applies a primary adaptive weighted fusion to the IoT empowered optical fiber real-time sensing data and weather forecast data,followed by a secondary fusion based on a Back Propagation(BP)neural network,and uses the K-medoids algorithm for clustering the fused ***,an adaptive irregular time series perception adjustment module is introduced into the traditional Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)network,and closed-loop feedback based on attentionmechanism is employed to update network parameters through gradient feedback of the loss function,enabling closed-loop training and time series data prediction of the GRU network ***,considering various types of prediction data and the duration of icing,an iced transmission line galloping risk coefficient is established,and warnings are categorized based on this ***,using an IoT-driven realistic dataset of iced transmission line galloping,the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through multi-dimensional simulation scenarios.
