Oenanthe javanica is an aquatic perennial herb that belongs to theOenanthe genus in Apiaceae family, and it displays well-known medicinal properties such as protective effects against glu-tamate-induced neurotoxicity. However, few studies regarding effects ofOenanthe javanica on neurogenesis in the brain have been reported. In this study, we examined the effects of a normal diet and a diet containing ethanol extract ofOenanthe javanica on cell proliferation and neu-roblast differentiation in the subgranular zone of the hippocampal dentate gyrus of adolescent rats using Ki-67 （an endogenous marker for cell proliferation） and doublecortin （a marker for neuroblast）. Our results showed thatOenanthe javanica extract signiifcantly increased the number of Ki-67-immunoreactive cells and doublecortin-immunoreactive neuroblasts in the subgranular zone of the dentate gyrus in the adolescent rats. In addition, the immunoreactivity of brain-derived neurotrophic factor was signiifcantly increased in the dentate gyrus of the Oenanthe javanica extract-treated group compared with the control group. However, we did not ifnd that vascular endothelial growth factor expression was increased in theOenanthe javanica extract-treated group compared with the control group. These results indicate thatOenanthe javanica extract improves cell proliferation and neuroblast differentiation by increasing brain-de-rived neurotrophic factor immunoreactivity in the rat dentate gyrus.

AIM:To evaluate the correlation between liver stiffness measurement(LSM)by real-time shear wave elastography(SWE)and liver fibrosis stage and the accuracy of LSM for predicting significant and advanced fibrosis,in comparison with serum ***:We consecutively analyzed 70 patients with various chronic liver *** fibrosis was staged from F0 to F4 according to the Batts and Ludwig scoring *** and advanced fibrosis was defined as stage F≥2 and F≥3,*** accuracy of prediction for fibrosis was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic ***:Seventy patients,15 were belonged to F0-F1 stage,20 F2,13 F3 and 22 *** was increased with progression of fibrosis stage(F0-F1:6.77±1.72,F2:9.98±3.99,F3:15.80±7.73,and F4:22.09±10.09,P<0.001).Diagnostic accuracies of LSM for prediction of F≥2 and F≥3 were 0.915(95%CI:0.824-0.968,P<0.001)and 0.913(95%CI:0.821-0.967,P<0.001),*** cut-off values of LSM for prediction of F≥2 and F≥3 were 8.6kPa with 78.2%sensitivity and 93.3%specificity and10.46 kPa with 88.6%sensitivity and 80.0%specificity,***,there were no significant differences between LSM and serum hyaluronic acid and typeⅣcollagen in diagnostic ***:SWE showed a significant correlation with the severity of liver fibrosis and was useful and accurate to predict significant and advanced fibrosis,comparable with serum markers.

Chimeric plants composed of green and albino tissues have great ornamental *** unveil the functional genes responsible for albino phenotypes in chimeric plants,we inspected the complete plastid genomes(plastomes)in green and albino leaf tissues from 23 ornamental chimeric plants belonging to 20 species,including monocots,dicots,and *** nine chimeric plants,plastomes were identical between green and albino ***,another 14 chimeric plants were heteroplasmic,showing a mutation between green and albino *** identified 14 different point mutations in eight functional plastid genes related to plastid-encoded RNA polymerase(rpo)or photosystems which caused albinism in the chimeric *** them,12 were deleterious mutations in the target genes,in which early termination appeared due to small deletion-mediated frameshift or single nucleotide *** was single nucleotide substitution in an intron of the ycf3 and the other was a missense mutation in coding region of the rpoC2 *** inspected chlorophyll structure,protein functional model of the rpoC2,and expression levels of the related genes in green and albino tissues of Reynoutria japonica.A single amino acid change,histidine-to-proline substitution,in the rpoC2 protein may destabilize the peripheral helix of plastid-encoded RNA polymerase,impairing the biosynthesis of the photosynthesis system in the albino tissue of *** chimera plant.

AIM：To investigate the incidence and general characteristics of sports-related eye injuries in patients visiting the Emergency Department. 目的初步评估计算机辅助下行全髋关节表面置换的手术方法及假体植入的精确性。方法对40例患者分成导航组（20例）和对照组（20例），分别采用计算机导航系统辅助和标准常规技术完成全髋关节表面置换术。比较两组手术时间、术中失血量、Harris髋关节评分（HHS），以及髋臼杯外展角和前倾角的偏移度及股骨假体柄干角和前倾角的偏移度。结果手术时间导航组较对照组长38．7min（P〈0．05），术中平均出血量导航组较对照组多109．4ml（P〈0．05）。随访平均14．5个月，HHS评分两组比较差异无统计学意义（P〉0．05）。对照组髋臼杯外展角偏移度（7.3°±4.3°）大于导航组（1．9°±1．3°）（P〈0．05），对照组髋臼杯前倾角偏移度（3．9°±2．3°）大于导航组（2．4°±1．5°）（P〈0．05）。导航组股骨假体柄干角偏移度（1．5°±1．0°）小于对照组（11．3°±1.3°）（P〈0．05），导航组股骨假体前倾角偏移度（1．8°±2.3°）小于对照组（6．5°±5．3°）（P〈0．05）。结论计算机导航系统辅助下行全髋关节表面置换术可以提高假体植入的精确性，避免股骨颈皮质骨切迹，降低股骨颈骨折的风险。

Background: Leptomeningeal seeding （LMS） is a devastating complication of malignancy. Among several pathogenesis, surgical spillage has been one of the iatrogenic factors for the development of LMS. We retrospectively analyzed various surgical factors affecting the development of LMS. Patients and Methods: We identified 294 patients with brain metastasis who had been treated using surgery between 2001 and 2009. We classified the tumor location into subcortical, pial, epipial, juxtaventricular and ventricular. The description of surgical resection was divided into piecemeal and en-bloc and the risk of using cavitron ultrasonic aspirator （CUSA） were investigated. Results: A total 44 of the 294 patients （15%） developed LMS after undergoing index procedure. The median time to LMS development was 6months （range, 1.0-42.0）. Among the 294 surgical patients, seven out of 101 en-bloc removal patients （6.9%） developed LMS, whereas 37 out of 193 piecemeal removal patients （19.2%） developed LMS, and the incidence of LMS was significantly different between these two surgical resection modes （p = 0.005）.The adjusted hazard ratio （HR） for patients whose tumors were resected by piecemeal compared to en-bloc was 3.12 （95% CI, 1.4-7.0;p = 0.006）. The incidence of LMS was significantly higher （p ＜ 0.001） in patients whose tumors were resected by CUSA, and the HR of using CUSA was 4.18 （95% CI, 1.9-9.4;p = 0.001）. The location of tumor at high-risk of CSF exposure （epipial and ventricular） conferred increased risk of LMS after the treatment compared to low-risk group with the HR 2.52 （95% CI, 1.4-4.7;p = 0.004）. On the other hand, the location of tumor at low-risk of CSF exposure （subcortical） showed significantly reduced risk of LSM compared to the other locations （HR=0.27;95% CI 0.12-0.65;p-value = 0.003）. Conclusion: The piecemeal resection mode and the use of CUSA were found to increase risk of LMS in this retrospective study. Therefore, the piecemeal resection using CUSA should be

＜正＞To perform the simulations of netivork intrusions which give the information on the consequences of the network being affected, the network modeling for an actual network architecture and the property of its sub systems should be reflected to the simulation framework. In this paper, we propose and implement an Intrusion Detection System （IDS） based on SSFNet simulation framework. IDS is one of core elements in the cyber intrusions. Proposed IDS system has a rule-based type with misuse detect. Performing various types of simulations for network intrusions, the implemented IDS on the simulation shows that it plays the same property as that of actual networks.
