Mitogenome-based phylogeny of mosquitoes(Diptera:Culicidae)

Mosquitoes are of great medical significance as vectors of many deadly *** have been widely used in phylogenetic studies,but mitogenome knowledge within the family Culicidae is limited,and Culicidae phylogeny is far from *** this study,we surveyed the mitogenomes of 149 Culicidae species,including 7 newly sequenced *** analysis of 149 mosquito mitogenomes shows gene composition and order to be identical to that of an ancestral insect,and the AT bias,length variation,and codon usage are all consistent with that of other reported Dipteran *** analyses based on the DNA sequences of the 13 protein-coding genes from the 149 species robustly support the monophyly of the subfamily Anophelinae and the tribes Aedini,Culicini,Mansonini,Sabethini,and *** resolve ambiguous relationships between clades within the subfamily Culicinae,we performed topological tests and show that Aedini is a sister to Culicini and that Uranotaenini is a sister to(Mansonini)+(Toxorhynchitini+Sabethini).In addition,we estimated divergence times using a Bayesian relaxation clock based on the sequence data and 3 fossil calibration *** results show mosquitoes diverged during the Early Jurassic with massive Culicinae radiations during the Cretaceous,coincident with the emergence of angiosperms and the burst of mammals and ***,this study,which uses the largest number of Culicidae mitogenomes sequenced to date,comprehensively reveals the mitogenome characteristics and mitogenome-based phylogeny and divergence times of Culicidae,providing information for further studies on the mitogenome,phylogeny,evolution,and taxonomic revision of Culicidae.

Roll gap prediction in acceleration and deceleration process of cold rolling based on a data-driven method

Severe fluctuation of the effective roll gap in the acceleration and deceleration section of the cold rolling process is a significant factor causing thickness ***,the conventional roll gap compensation method and control strategy do not meet the stringent strip quality *** roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process is studied to increase the thickness control *** order to improve model accuracy,a roll gap prediction method based on data-driven is *** the complexities of the cold rolling process,the extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)method is used to predict the roll gap model as the rolling speed ***,support vector regression and neural network-based methods are taken to evaluate and compare the prediction *** on the field data,the simulation experiments are carried *** demonstrated that the prediction performance of the proposed method outperformed the other two *** values of root mean square error,determination coefficient value,mean absolute percentage error and mean absolute error obtained from the XGBoost model were equal to 0.000346,0.952,7.02,and 0.00028,*** addition,the proposed method analyzed the contribution rates of the rolling affecting parameters on the roll *** data showed that in the controllable rolling parameters,the rolling speed is the most impacting factor that disturbs the roll gap model in the acceleration and deceleration process,which can provide a useful direction for actual roll gap adjustment.

To solve the coupling relationship between the strip automatic gauge control and the looper control in traditional control strategy of tandem hot rolling,a distributed model predictive control(DMPC)strategy for the tandem hot rolling was explored,and a series of simulation experiments were carried ***,based on the state space analysis method,the multivariable dynamic transition process of hot strip rolling was studied,and the state space model of a gauge-looper integrated system in tandem hot rolling was ***,DMPC strategy based on neighborhood optimization was proposed,which fully considered the coupling relationship in this integrated ***,a series of experiments simulating disturbances and emergency situations were completed with actual rolling *** experimental results showed that the proposed DMPC control strategy had better performance compared with the traditional proportional-integral control and centralized model predictive control,which is applicable for the gauge-looper integrated system.

Intensive insulin therapy has been extensively used to control blood glucose levels because of its ability to reduce the risk of chronic complications of *** to current guidelines,intensive glycemic control requires individu-alized glucose goals rather than as low as *** intensive therapy,rapid blood glucose reduction can aggravate microvascular and macrovascular complications,and prolonged overuse of insulin can lead to treatment-induced neuropathy and retinopathy,hypoglycemia,obesity,lipodystrophy,and insulin antibody ***,we need to develop individualized hypoglycemic plans for patients with diabetes,including the time required for blood glucose normalization and the duration of intensive insulin therapy,which deserves further study.

Application of a concrete thermal pile in cooling the warming permafrost under climate change

Permafrost degradation caused by climate warming is posing a serious threat to the stability of cast-in-place pile foundations in warm permafrost *** cold energy can be effectively utilized by two-phase closed thermosyphons(TPCTs)to cool the ***,we installed TPCTs in a cast-in-place pile foundation to create a unique structure called a thermal pile,which effectively utilizes the TPCTs to regulate ground *** we conducted a case study and numerical simulation to exhibit the cooling performance,and optimize the structure of the thermal *** purpose of this study is to promote the application of thermal piles in unstable permafrost *** on the findings,the thermal pile operated for approximately 53%of the entire year and effectively reduced the deep ground temperature at a rate of at least-0.1℃per ***,it successfully raised the permafrost table that is 0.35 m shallower than the natural ground *** characteristics prove highly beneficial in mitigating the adverse effects of permafrost degradation and enhancing infrastructure *** the length of the condenser section and the diameter of the TPCT in a suitable manner can effectively enhance the cooling capability of the thermal pile and ensure the long-term mechanical stability of the pile foundation even under climate warming.

This paper proposes a multi-time collaborative restoration model for integrated electricity-gas distribution sys-tems(IEGDSs)considering multiple resources after extreme weather *** on the linearized power flow constraints of the unbalanced electrical distribution system(EDS)and gas distribution system(GDS),this problem can be formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming(MILP)*** improve the efficiency and veracity of the solution,a rolling optimiza-tion based two-stage method is developed with the first stage solved by a linear approximation model,and the second stage solved by real-time updated rolling *** solving the MILP problem using rolling optimization,the proposed model and solution method achieve efficient and reliable collaborative restoration of IEGDS considering multiple resources and unbal-anced operation characteristics of *** effectiveness of the proposed model and method is validated by using an IEGDS made of a 37-bus unbalanced EDS and 11-node *** Terms-Electricity-gas system,mix-integer linear programming,power system restoration.

Impact of Annealing on the Melt Recrystallization of a-PDLA/α-PLLA Double-layered Films

Poly(lactic acid)(PLA) as a bio-based polymer with biodegradability and biocompatibility has attracted much attention. To manipulate its properties for different applications, regulation of crystal structure and crystalline morphology becomes an attractive research topic. In this work, the structure evolution of layered samples containing an amorphous poly(D-lactide)(PDLA) layer and a crystalline poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)layer with highly oriented edge-on α lamellar crystals after annealing at 150 ℃ or/and after melt-recrystallization has been studied by AFM, FTIR,and TEM combined with electron diffraction. The results demonstrate that melt recrystallization of the as-prepared sample leads to the formation of abundant randomly oriented PLA stereo-complex(PLA SC) crystals. Annealing at 150 ℃ results in the formation of a small amount of oriented PLA SC crystals at the interface. These PLA SC crystals show great impact on the recrystallization behavior of sample after melting at 190 ℃ and then crystallizing at 90 ℃. First, they impede the mutual diffusion of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, and thus reduce their stereocomplexation ability as manifested by the decreased amount of PLA SC crystals. Second, they act as substrate to initiate the epitaxial crystallization of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, which ensures the production of a highly oriented structure of PDLA and PLLA after melt recrystallization again.

Analysis of mechanical strengths of extreme line casing joint considering geometric, material, and contact nonlinearities

To address the challenges associated with difficult casing running, limited annular space, and poor cementing quality in the completion of ultra-deep wells, the extreme line casing offers an effective solution over conventional casings. However, due to its smaller size, the joint strength of extreme line casing is reduced, which may cause failure when running in the hole. To address this issue, this study focuses on the CST-ZT Φ139.7 mm × 7.72 mm extreme line casing and employs the elastic-plastic mechanics to establish a comprehensive analysis of the casing joint, taking into account the influence of geometric and material nonlinearities. A finite element model is developed to analyze the forces and deformations of the extreme line casing joint under axial tension and external collapse load. The model investigates the stress distribution of each thread tooth subjected to various tensile forces and external pressures. Additionally, the tensile strength and crushing strength of the extreme line casing joint are determined through both analytical and experimental approaches. The findings reveal that, under axial tensile load, the bearing surface of each thread tooth experiences uneven stress, with relatively high equivalent stress at the root of each thread tooth. The end thread teeth are valuable spots for failure. It is observed that the critical fracture axial load of thread decreases linearly with the increase of thread tooth sequence. Under external pressure, the circumferential stress is highest at the small end of the external thread, leading to yield deformation. The tensile strength of the joint obtained from the finite element model exhibits a relative error of less than 7% compared to the analytical and experimental values,proving the reliability of the finite element model. Efficacy and safety of Yangxinshi tablet for chronic heart failure:A systematic review and meta-analysis

BACKGROUND The specific benefits of Yangxinshi tablet(YXST)in the treating chronic heart failure(CHF)remain *** To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of YXST in the treatment of *** Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)investigating YXST for CHF treatment were retrieved from eight public databases up to November ***-analyses of the included clinical studies were conducted using Review Manager *** Twenty RCTs and 1845 patients were *** meta-analysis results showed that the YXST combination group,compared to the conventional drug group,significantly increased the clinical efficacy rate by 23%[relative risk(RR)=1.23,95%CI:1.17-1.29],(P<0.00001),left ventricular ejection fraction by 6.69%[mean difference(MD)=6.69,95%CI:4.42-8.95,P<0.00001]and 6-min walk test by 49.82 m(MD=49.82,95%C:38.84-60.80,P<0.00001),and reduced N-terminal pro-Btype natriuretic peptide by 1.03 ng/L[standardized MD(SMD)=-1.03,95%CI:-1.32 to-0.74,P<0.00001],brain natriuretic peptide by 80.95 ng/L(MD=-80.95,95%CI:-143.31 to-18.59,P=0.01),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter by 3.92 mm(MD=-3.92,95%CI:-5.06 to-2.78,P<0.00001),and left ventricular endsystolic diameter by 4.34 mm(MD=-4.34,95%CI:-6.22 to-2.47,P<0.00001).Regarding safety,neither group reported any serious adverse events during treatment(RR=0.54,95%CI:0.15-1.90,P=0.33).In addition,Egger's test results indicated no significant publication bias(P=0.557).CONCLUSION YXST effectively improves clinical symptoms and cardiac function in patients with CHF while maintaining a favorable safety profile,suggesting its potential as a therapeutic strategy for CHF.
