Due to the non-separability of the variance term,the dynamic mean-variance(MV)portfolio optimization problem is inherently difficult to solve by dynamic programming.Li and Ng(Math Finance 10(3):387-406,2000)and Zhou and Li(Appl Math Optim 42(1):19-33,2000)develop the pre-committed optimal policy for such a problem using the embedding method.Following this line of research,researchers have extensively studied the MV portfolio selection model through the inclusion of more practical investment constraints,realistic market assumptions and various financial applications.As the principle of optimality no longer holds,the pre-committed policy suffers from the time-inconsistent issue,i.e.,the optimal policy computed at the intermediate time t is not consistent with the optimal policy calculated at any time before time t.The time inconsistency of the dynamic MV model has become an important yet challenging research topic.This paper mainly focuses on the multi-period mean–variance(MMV)portfolio optimization problem,reviews the essential extensions and highlights the critical development of time-consistent policies.

BACKGROUND Changes in China's fertility policy have led to a significant increase in older pregnant women.At present,there is a lack of analysis of influencing factors and research on predictive models for postpartum depression(PPD)in older pregnant women.AIM To analysis the influencing factors and the construction of predictive models for PPD in older pregnant women.METHODS By adopting a cross-sectional survey research design,239 older pregnant women(≥35 years old)who underwent obstetric examinations and gave birth at Suzhou Ninth People's Hospital from February 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects.When postpartum women of advanced maternal age came to the hospital for follow-up 42 d after birth,the Edinburgh PPD Scale(EPDS)was used to assess the presence of PPD symptoms.The women were divided into a PPD group and a no-PPD group.Two sets of data were collected for analysis,and a prediction model was constructed.The performance of the predictive model was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)analysis and the Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test.RESULTS On the 42nd day after delivery,51 of 239 older pregnant women were evaluated with the EPDS scale and found to have depressive symptoms.The incidence rate was 21.34%(51/239).There were statistically significant differences between the PPD group and the no-PPD group in terms of education level(P=0.004),family relationships(P=0.001),pregnancy complications(P=0.019),and mother–infant separation after birth(P=0.002).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that a high school education and below,poor family relationships,pregnancy complications,and the separation of the mother and baby after birth were influencing factors for PPD in older pregnant women(Pship+1.137×pregnancy complications+1.285×separation of the mother and infant after birth-6.671.The area under the ROC curve of this prediction

The two-electron cytoplasmic reductase NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1 is expressed in many tissues.NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1 is well-known for being highly expressed in most cancers.Therefore,it could be a target for cancer therapy.Because it is a quinone reductase,many bioimaging probes based on quinone structures target NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1 to diagnose tumours.Its expression is higher in tumours than in normal tissues,and using target drugs such asβ-lapachone to reduce side effects in normal tissues can help.However,the physicochemical properties ofβlapachone limit its application.The problem can be solved by using nanosystems to deliverβ-lapachone.This minireview summarizes quinone-based fluorescent,nearinfrared and two-photon fluorescent probes,as well as nanosystems for delivering the NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1-activating drugβ-lapachone.This review provides valuable information for the future development of probes and nano-delivery systems that target NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1.

The laser weapons will play a special role in the future high-tech war.To study the impact of airborne laser weapon on the System-of-System(SoS)effectiveness in cooperative com-bat,this paper proposes an indicator construction method based on the combination of the weapon capability indicator system and the combat simulation.The indicator system of capability is divided into 4 layers by the bottom-to-up generation mechanism of indicators.It can describe the logical relationship between the indicator layers from a qualitative perspective.Together with the 4 layers capability indicator system,a hierarchical framework of airborne laser weapon is established by the agent-based modeling and simulation.Impact analyses show that the SoS effectiveness improves with the increase of the laser weapon output power,the laser launcher diameter,and the photoelectric sensor pixel.But the SoS effectiveness promotion brought by the photoelectric sensor pixel is limited.The results can be used for the development of tactical airborne laser weapon.

A convex two-stage non-cooperative multi-agent game under uncertainty is formula ted as a two-stage stochastic variational inequality(SVI).Under standard assumptions,we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of the two-stage SVI and propose a regularized sample average approximation method for solving it.We prove the convergence of the method as the regularization parameter tends to zero and the sample size tends to infinity.Moreover,our approach is applied to a two-stage stochastic production and supply planning problem with homogeneous commodity in an oligopolistic market.Numerical results based on historical data in crude oil market are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the two-stage SVI in describing the market share of oil producing agents.

The tangential k-Cauchy-Fueter operator and k-CF functions are counterparts of the tangential Cauchy–Riemann operator and CR functions on the Heisenberg group in the theory of several complex variables,respectively.In this paper,we introduce a Lie group that the Heisenberg group can be imbedded into and call it generalized complex Heisenberg.We investigate quaternionic analysis on the generalized complex Heisenberg.We also give the Penrose integral formula for k-CF functions and construct the tangential k-Cauchy-Fueter complex.

Inhalation of reclaimed water is known to cause lung infammation,and free endotoxins have been shown to be a major risk factor for acute exposure.Subchronic exposure has also been shown to induce infammatory responses with visible tissue damage.However,subchronic risk factors have yet to be identified,and a threshold for the protection of occupational populations during urban reuse is necessary.In this study,potential risk factors in reclaimed water were examined by subchronic exposure with fractionated reclaimed water,and the health risk threshold was tested with a series of diluted reclaimed water.Accordingly,following a 12-week exposure,macromolecules and microorganisms were found to be two major risk factors in reclaimed water that could cause pulmonary infammation,including increased proportion of polymorphonuclear leukocytes in bronchoalveolar fuid,formation of inducible bronchus-associated lymphoid tissue,and elevation of Immunoglobulin A levels.Moreover,infammation persisted after a 4-week recovery period.The calculated threshold of reclaimed water exposure for mice was 31.8 Endotoxin Unit(EU)/(kg·day)under when exposed to 50%additional relative humidity from reclaimed water at 25℃ for 2 hr/day.Meanwhile,the subchronic threshold estimate for humans under the same exposure conditions was found to be 12.2 EU/(kg·day),corresponding to endotoxin levels of 61.7 EU/mL in reclaimed water.The threshold level of endotoxin was lower than that in most non-potable reclaimed water.The findings of this study suggest that occupational exposure of reclaimed water can serve as a potential risk to workers.
