The conversion of carbon dioxide(CO2)to valuable fuels and chemicals offers a new pathway for sustainable and clean carbon ***,the focus has been on electrochemical CO2 reduction on heterogeneous electrode catalysts,leading to remarkable achievements in the reaction *** date,CO2 to carbon monoxide(CO)conversion is considered as the most promising candidate reaction for the industrial market,owing to its high efficiency and reasonable technoeconomic ***,CO has been proposed as a key intermediate species for further reduced hydrocarbons,which can pave the way for various fuel *** study sets out to describe recent progress on the electrochemical CO2 reduction to CO in a heterogeneously catalyzed *** review includes understanding of the catalytic material employed and engineering strategies implemented by adjusting the binding energy of key *** material design approaches,such as nanostructuring,alloying,doping,and so forth,have pioneered breakouts in the intrinsic catalytic nature of transition metal ***,recent advances in systematic design are summarized,with focus on practical industrial ***,perspectives on the design of electrocatalyst materials for CO production by electrochemical CO2 reduction are presented.

To reduce time and energy during thermal binder removal in the ceramic process, plasma surface treatment was applied before the lamination *** adhesion strength in the lamination films was enhanced by oxidative plasma treatment of the porous green ceramic film with polymeric binding *** oxygen plasma characteristics were investigated through experimental parameters and weight loss *** experimental results revealed the need for parameter analysis,including gas material,process time,flow rate,and discharge power,and supported a mechanism consisting of competing ablation and deposition *** weight loss analysis was conducted for cyclic plasma treatment rather than continuous plasma treatment for the purpose of improving the film’s permeability by suppressing deposition of the ablated *** cyclic plasma treatment improved the permeability compared to the continuous plasma treatment.

BACKGROUND Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome(FPIES)is the most serious type of non-immunoglobulin E(IgE)-mediated food allergic reaction manifesting as sepsis-like symptom,which can lead to *** boulardii(***),a probiotic prescribed frequently in clinical settings,has been reported to trigger FPIES in an infant with soy-triggered *** this report,we describe a new clinical FPIES in which *** was the sole triggering factor of acute FPIES adverse reaction in seven healthy *** SUMMARY Seven FPIES cases triggered by only *** were gathered from 2011 to the *** of the patients had previously experienced any allergic reaction to cow’s milk,soy,or complementary *** age of the patients was 4-10-months old,and the symptoms of FPIES developed after ingestion of ***,which is mostly prescribed for the treatment of gastroenteritis or antibiotic-associated *** patients experienced severe repetitive vomiting 1-3 hours after *** *** lethargy,marked pallor,and cyanosis were also *** IgE-mediated hypersensitivity developed in any *** was followed by initial intense vomiting in approximately 5-10 hours after *** ingestion,and only one case showed bloody,purulent,and foul-smelling *** patients stabilized quickly,mostly within 6 *** got all improved within 24 hours after discontinuation of *** *** can be the sole trigger of acute FPIES and be prescribed cautiously even in healthy children without FPIES.

Artificial intelligence,which has recently emerged with the rapid development of information technology,is drawing attention as a tool for solving various problems demanded by society and *** particular,convolutional neural networks(CNNs),a type of deep learning technology,are highlighted in computer vision fields,such as image classification and recognition and object *** these CNN models requires a large amount of data,and a lack of data can lead to performance degradation problems due to *** CNN architecture development and optimization studies become active,ensemble techniques have emerged to perform image classification by combining features extracted from multiple CNN *** this study,data augmentation and contour image extraction were performed to overcome the data shortage *** addition,we propose a hierarchical ensemble technique to achieve high image classification accuracy,even if trained from a small amount of ***,we trained the UCMerced land use dataset and the contour images for each image on pretrained VGGNet,GoogLeNet,ResNet,DenseNet,and *** then apply a hierarchical ensemble technique to the number of cases in which each model can be *** experiments were performed in cases where the proportion of training datasets was 30%,50%,and 70%,resulting in a performance improvement of up to 4.68%compared to the average accuracy of the entire model.

With the development of artificial intelligence-related technologies such as deep learning,various organizations,including the government,are making various efforts to generate and manage big data for use in artificial ***,it is difficult to acquire big data due to various social problems and restrictions such as personal information *** are many problems in introducing technology in fields that do not have enough training data necessary to apply deep learning ***,this study proposes a mixed contour data augmentation technique,which is a data augmentation technique using contour images,to solve a problem caused by a lack of ***,a famous convolutional neural network(CNN)architecture,and CIFAR-10,a benchmark data set,are used for experimental performance evaluation to prove the superiority of the proposed *** to prove that high performance improvement can be achieved even with a small training dataset,the ratio of the training dataset was divided into 70%,50%,and 30%for comparative *** a result of applying the mixed contour data augmentation technique,it was possible to achieve a classification accuracy improvement of up to 4.64%and high accuracy even with a small amount of data *** addition,it is expected that the mixed contour data augmentation technique can be applied in various fields by proving the excellence of the proposed data augmentation technique using benchmark datasets.

Recently,deep learning has achieved remarkable results in fields that require human cognitive ability,learning ability,and reasoning *** functions are very important because they provide the ability of artificial neural networks to learn complex patterns through *** activation functions are being studied to solve problems such as vanishing gradients and dying nodes that may occur in the deep learning ***,it takes a lot of time and effort for researchers to use the existing activation function in their ***,in this paper,we propose a universal activation function(UA)so that researchers can easily create and apply various activation functions and improve the performance of neural *** can generate new types of activation functions as well as functions like traditional activation functions by properly adjusting three *** famous Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and benchmark datasetwere used to evaluate the experimental performance of the UA proposed in this *** compared the performance of the artificial neural network to which the traditional activation function is applied and the artificial neural network to which theUA is *** addition,we evaluated the performance of the new activation function generated by adjusting the hyperparameters of *** experimental performance evaluation results showed that the classification performance of CNNs improved by up to 5%through the UA,although most of them showed similar performance to the traditional activation function.

BACKGROUND Infective endocarditis is more common in hemodialysis patients than in the general population and is sometimes difficult to *** coronary sinus(CS)vegetation is extremely rare and has a good prognosis,but complicated CS vegetation may have a poorer clinical *** report a case of CS vegetation accidentally found via echocardiography in a hemodialysis patient with undifferentiated *** CS vegetation may have been caused by endocardial denudation due to tricuspid regurgitant jet and subsequent *** SUMMARY A 91-year-old man with dyspnea and hypotension was transferred from a nursing *** was on regular hemodialysis and had a history of severe grade of tricuspid *** was no leukocytosis or fever upon *** and sequential blood cultures revealed absence of microorganism *** computed tomography showed lung consolidation and a large pleural effusion.A mobile band-like mass on the CS,suggestive of vegetation,was observed on *** diagnosed him with infective endocarditis involving the CS,pneumonia,and septic shock based on echocardiographic,radiographic,and clinical *** of broad-spectrum antibiotics,fluid resuscitation,inotropic support,and ventilator care were ***,the patient died from uncontrolled infection and septic *** CS vegetation can be fatal in hemodialysis patients with impaired immune systems,especially when it delays the diagnosis.
