Targeting epigenetic mechanisms in amyloid-β-mediated Alzheimer’s pathophysiology:unveiling therapeutic potential

Alzheimer’s disease is a prominent chronic neurodegenerative condition characterized by a gradual decline in memory leading to *** evidence suggests that Alzheimer’s disease is associated with accumulating various amyloid-βoligomers in the brain,influenced by complex genetic and environmental *** memory and cognitive deficits observed during the prodromal and mild cognitive impairment phases of Alzheimer’s disease are believed to primarily result from synaptic *** life,environmental factors can lead to enduring changes in gene expression and the emergence of brain *** changes,known as epigenetic modifications,also play a crucial role in regulating the formation of synapses and their adaptability in response to neuronal *** this context,we highlight recent advances in understanding the roles played by key components of the epigenetic machinery,specifically DNA methylation,histone modification,and microRNAs,in the development of Alzheimer’s disease,synaptic function,and activity-dependent synaptic ***,we explore various strategies,including enriched environments,exposure to non-invasive brain stimulation,and the use of pharmacological agents,aimed at improving synaptic function and enhancing long-term potentiation,a process integral to epigenetic ***,we deliberate on the development of effective epigenetic agents and safe therapeutic approaches for managing Alzheimer’s *** suggest that addressing Alzheimer’s disease may require distinct tailored epigenetic drugs targeting different disease stages or pathways rather than relying on a single drug.

Transport mechanism in chemically reactive hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic micro-organisms over a curved oscillatory surface

This paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).The effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Semantic separator learning and its applications in unsupervised Chinese text parsing

Grammar learning has been a bottleneck problem for a long time. In this paper, we propose a method of seman- tic separator learning, a special case of grammar learning. The method is based on the hypothesis that some classes of words, called semantic separators, split a sentence into sev- eral constituents. The semantic separators are represented by words together with their part-of-speech tags and other infor- mation so that rich semantic information can be involved. In the method, we first identify the semantic separators with the help of noun phrase boundaries, called subseparators. Next, the argument classes of the separators are learned from cor- pus by generalizing argument instances in a hypernym space. Finally, in order to evaluate the learned semantic separators, we use them in unsupervised Chinese text parsing. The exper- iments on a manually labeled test set show that the proposed method outperforms previous methods of unsupervised text parsing.

In-situ construction of z-scheme g-C_(3)N_(4)/WO_(3) composite with enhanced visible-light responsive performance for nitenpyram degradation

Developing an excellent photocatalysis system to remove pesticides from water is an urgent problem in current environment purification ***,a z-scheme WO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst was prepared by a facile in-situ calcination method,and the photocatalytic activity was investigated for degradation of nitenpyram(NTP)under visible *** optimal z-scheme WO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst displayed the highest rate constant(0.036 min-1),which is about 1.7 and 25 times higher than that of pure g-C_(3)N_(4) and WO_(3),*** improvement of photocatalytic performance is attributed to fast transfer of photogene rated carriers in the z-scheme structure,which are testified by electron spin resonance(ESR)experiments,photocurrent and electrochemical impedance spectra(EIS)***,the effects of typical water environmental factors on the degradation NTP were systematically *** the possible degradation pathways of NTP were deduced by the intermediates detected by highperformance liquid chro matography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS).This work will not only contribute to understand the degradation mechanism of pesticides in real water environmental condition,but also promote the development of new technologies for pesticide pollution control as well as environmental remediation.

The title compound has synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray analysis. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 10.413(3), b = 16.080(5), c = 19.188(6) ? b = 94.023(7), V = 3205(2) 3, z = 8, Dc =1.440 g/cm3, F(000) = 1424, m(MoKa) = 0.238 mm-1, S = 0.896, R = 0.0454 and wR = 0.0998 for 1914 observed reflections with I ≥ 2s(I). In the title compound (C18H12F3NOS), the side-chain carbonyl group, the adjacent double bond and the amine N from 2-naphthylamine are essentially coplanar with the largest deviation from this plane being 0.018(2) ?for atom C(3). The dihedral angle between the mean plane and the thienyl ring is 4.24(3)? A strong intramolecular NH…O hydrogen bond (N…O 2.666(3) ?and NH…O 142(3)) was observed, which leads to an enamine tautomer in the crystal.

Testing High-Dimensional Nonparametric Behrens-Fisher Problem

Robust Collaborative Optimization Method Based on Dual-response Surface

A novel method for robust collaborative design of complex products based on dual-response surface （DRS-RCO） is proposed to solve multidisciplinary design optimization （MDO） problems under uncertainty. Collaborative optimization （CO） which decomposes the whole system into a double-level nonlinear optimization problem is widely accepted as an efficient method to solve MDO problems. In order to improve the quality of complex product in design process, robust collaborative optimization （RCO） is developed to solve those problems under uncertain conditions. RCO does optimization on the linear sum of mean and standard deviation of objective function and gets an optimal solution with high robustness. Response surfaces method is an important way to do approximation in robust design. DRS-RCO is an improved RCO method in which dual-response surface replaces system uncertainty analysis module of CO. The dual-response surface is the approximate model of mean and standard deviation of objective function respectively. In DRS-RCO, All the information of subsystems is included in dual-response surfaces. As an additional item, the standard deviation of objective function is added to the subsystem optimization. This item guarantee both the mean and standard deviation of this subsystem is reaching the minima at the same time. Finally, a test problem with two coupled subsystems is conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of DRS-RCO.
