Effect of temperature and time on the precipitation ofκ-carbides.in Fe-28Mn-10Al-0.8C low-density steels:Aging mechanism and its.impact on material properties

in low-density steel,κ-carbides primarily precipitate in the form of nanoscale particles within austenite ***,their precipitation within ferrite matrix grains has not been comprehensively explored,and the second-phase evolution mechanism during aging remains *** this study,the crystallographic characteris.ics and morphological evolution ofκ-carbides.in Fe-28Mn-10Al-0.8C(wt%)low-density steel at different aging temperatures and times and the impacts of these changes on the steels’microhardness and properties were comprehensively *** different heat treatment conditions.intragranularκ-carbides exhibited various morpho-logical and crystallographic characteris.ics,such as acicular,spherical,and short rod-like *** the initial stage of aging,acicularκ-carbides primarily precipitated,accompanied by a few spherical carbides.κ-Carbides grew and coarsened with aging time,the spherical carbides were considerably reduced,and rod-like carbides *** hardness tes.ing demonstrated that the material’s hardness was affected by the volume fraction,morphology,and size ofκ-*** aging at higher temperatures led to an increase in carbide size and volume fraction,resulting in a gradual rise in *** deformation,the primary mechanisms for strengthening were dislocation strengthening and second-phase *** on these findings,potential strategies for improving material strength are proposed.

single crystals of a bismuth-based coordination polymer(CP)with carboxyl-thiol ligands,[Bi(C_(8)H_(2)O_(4)s_(2))(C2H8N)]n(Bi-DsBDC-DMA,DMBDC=2,5-disulfur-1,4-dicarboxylate,DMA=dimethylamine),have been successfully synthesized.X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that Bi-DsBDC-DMA possesses a layered structure,with two-dimensional(2D)Bi-DsBDC networks alternating with layers composed of dimethylamine *** material demonstrates semiconducting properties,featuring an optical bandgap of 2.2 eV and an electrical conductivity of 2×10^(-8) s/***,electrodes based on this material exhibit a capacity of 250 mAh/g after 200 cycles for lithium-ion storage.

Ferroptosis,a unique modality of cell death with mechanis.ic and morphological differences from other cell death modes,plays a pivotal role in regulating tumorigenesis and offers a new opportunity for modulating anticancer drug *** epigenetic modifications and posttranslational modifications(PTMs)promote anticancer drug resistance,cancer progres.ion,and *** studies.indicate that epigenetic modifications can transcriptionally and translationally determine cancer cell vulnerability to ferroptosis and that ferroptosis functions as a driver in nervous system diseases(NsDs),cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney *** this review,we first summarize the core molecular mechanisms of ***,the roles of epigenetic processes.including histone PTMs,DNA methylation,and noncoding RNA regulation and PTMs,such as phosphorylation,ubiquitination,sUMOylation,acetylation,methylation,and ADP-ribosylation,are concisely *** roles of epigenetic modifications and PTMs.in ferroptosis regulation in the genesis of diseases.including cancers,NsD,CVDs,liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney diseases,as well as the application of epigenetic and PTM modulators.in the therapy of these diseases,are then discussed in *** the mechanisms of ferroptosis regulation mediated by epigenetic modifications and PTMs.in cancer and other diseases will facilitate the development of promising combination therapeutic regimens containing epigenetic or PTM-targeting agents and ferroptosis.inducers that can be used to overcome chemotherapeutic resistance in cancer and could be used to prevent other *** addition,these mechanisms highlight potential therapeutic approaches to overcome chemoresistance in cancer or halt the genesis of other diseases.

The release of AlphaFold2 has sparked a rapid expansion in protein model *** protein structure retrieval is crucial for the analysis of structure models,while measuring the similarity between structures.is the key challenge in structural *** exis.ing structure alignment algorithms can address this challenge,they are often ***,the state-of-the-art approach involves converting protein structures.into three-dimensional(3D)Zernike descriptors and asses.ing similarity using Euclidean ***,the methods for computing 3D Zernike descriptors mainly rely on structural surfaces and are predominantly web-based,thus limiting their application in studying custom *** overcome this limitation,we developed FP-Zernike,a user-friendly toolkit for computing different types of Zernike descriptors based on feature *** simply need to enter a single line of command to calculate the Zernike descriptors of all structures.in customized ***-Zernike outperforms the leading method in terms of retrieval accuracy and binary clas.ification accuracy across diverse benchmark *** addition,we showed the application of FP-Zernike in the construction of the descriptor database and the protocol used for the Protein Data Bank(PDB)dataset to facilitate the local deployment of this tool for interested *** demonstration contained 590,685 structures,and at this scale,our system required only 4-9 s to complete a *** experiments confirmed that it achieved the state-of-the-art accuracy ***-Zernike is an open-source toolkit,with the source code and related data acces.ible at https://***/biocode/tools/BT007365/releases/0.1,as well as through a webserver at http://***/.

Comparison of Ex‑PREss.implantation versus trabeculectomy combined with phacoemulsification in primary open‑angle glaucoma:a retrospective in vivo confocal microscopy study

Background:To compare the efficacy of Ex-PREss.implantation versus trabeculectomy combined with ***:A retrospective 12-month study on patients with coincident primary open-angle glaucoma(POAG)and *** patients underwent combined phacoemulsification and Ex-PREss.implant(Phaco-ExPREss,n=35)or phacotrabeculectomy(Phaco-Trab,n=35).The morphological structures of the filtering bleb were examined by s.itlamp,anterior segment optical coherence tomography(As-OCT)and in vivo confocal microscopy(iVCM).Complete success was defined as postoperative intraocular pressure(iOP)ithout the use of anti-glaucoma *** success was defined as postoperative iOPith or without anti-glaucoma *** data were collected preoperatively and postoperatively at 2 weeks,1 month,3 months,6 months,and 12 ***:No significant difference in the variables such as age,iOP and perimetry was found between the groups of Phaco-ExPREss and *** the one-year postoperative visit for filtering blebs,Phaco-ExPREss.increased the mean area of epithelial microcysts significantly from 0.10±0.05 to 0.20±0.09μm^(2)perμm^(2),while Phaco-Trab decreased the mean area significantly from 0.08±0.04 to 0.04±0.06μm^(2)perμm^(2).Notably,the hyperreflective dots detected by iVCM decreased by 84.9%in Phaco-ExPREss but increased by 36.3%in *** hyperreflective dots were further identified as neutrophil-and monocyte-like *** number of these cells were negatively correlated with the microcysts area(r=−0.7,Psitively associated with the grade of connective tissue(r=0.5,Ping different microstructural changes.in the filtering blebs,Phaco-ExPREss produced a higher complete success rate(84.9%vs.41.2%,Psignificant decrease in the number of anti-glaucoma medications(Pith those in ***,the qualified success showed no significant difference between the two groups(

Experimental and Numerical study of Heat Transfer Characteris.ics of supercritical CO2 in Rectangular Channel PCHE

Channel structure has a significant effect on the heat transfer performance of *** this study,a set of rectangular straight channel PCHEs with different cross-section aspect ratios had been tested on s-CO2heat transfer experimental platform,the effect of mass flow rate in both cold and heat sides,as well as the cross-section aspect ratio of the rectangular straight channel,on the heat transfer performance of PCHE was *** results show that the comprehensive heat transfer performance of the rectangular cross-section is better than that of the semicircular cross-section;increasing the aspect ratio can improve the comprehensive heat transfer performance of PCHE,but the strengthening effect diminishes as the aspect ratio *** the mass flow rate on both sides not only enhances the pre-cooler's cooling capacity and heat transfer,but also raises the pressure *** addition,an improved heat transfer correlation for rectangular cross-section PCHE was proposed,considering the effects of cross-sectional aspect ratio and pseudo-critical temperature is proposed in the range of Re from 3169 to 48 474 and Pr from 0.98 to 12.5,the fitted results better predict the local Nu and f magnitudes and trends.in the pre-cooler under different cooling conditions,outperforming the simulated data and Gnielins.i and Blasius correlation.

All solid-state batteries(AssBs)are the holy grails of rechargeable batteries,where extensive searches are ongoing in the purs.it of ideal solid-state ***,there is s.ill a long way off to the satisfactorily high(enough)ionic conductivity,long-term stability and especially being able to form compatible interfaces with the solid ***,we have explored ionic transport behavior and high mobility in the sub-nano pore networks.in the framework ***,the frameworked electrolyte behaves as a solid,and however in the(sub)-nano scales,the very limited number of solvent molecules.in confinement makes them completely different from that in liquid *** from a liquid-electrolyte counterpart,the interactions between the mobile ions and surrounding molecules are subject to dramatic changes,leading to a high ionic conductivity at room temperature with a low activation ***+ions.in the sub-nano cages of the network structure are highly mobile and diffuse rather independently,where the rate-limiting step of ions cros.ing cages.is driven by the local concentration gradient and the electrostatic interactions between Li^(+)*** new class of frameworked electrolytes(FEs)with both high ionic conductivity and desirable interface with solid electrodes are demonstrated to work with Li-ion batteries,where the AssB with LiFePO_(4)shows a highly stable electrochemical performance of over 450 cycles at 2℃ at room temperature,with an almost negligible capacity fade of 0.03‰ each *** addition,the FE shows outstanding flexibility and anti-flammability,which are among the key requirements of large-scale applications.
