End-to-end text spotting is a vital computer vision task that aims to integrate scene text detection and recognition into a unified *** methods heavily rely on region-of-interest(Rol)operations to extract local features and complex post-processing steps to produce final *** address these limitations,we propose TextFormer,a query-based end-to-end text spotter with a transformer ***,using query embedding per text instance,TextFormer builds upon an image encoder and a text decoder to learn a joint semantic understanding for multitask *** allows for mutual training and optimization of classification,segmentation and recognition branches,resulting in deeper feature sharing without sacrificing flexibility or ***,we design an adaptive global aggregation(AGG)module to transfer global features into sequential features for reading arbitrarilyshaped texts,which overcomes the suboptimization problem of Rol ***,potential corpus information is utilized from weak annotations to full labels through mixed supervision,further improving text detection and end-to-end text spotting *** experiments on various bilingual(i.e.,English and Chinese)benchmarks demonstrate the superiority of our *** on the TDA-ReCTS dataset,TextFormer surpasses the state-of-the-art method in terms of 1-NED by 13.2..

A 2./56 Gb/s NRZ/PAM-4 dual-mode transceiver(TRx)designed in a 2.-nm complementary metal-oxide-semiconduc-tor(CMOS)process is presented in this article.A voltage-mode(VM)driver featuring a 4-tap reconfigurable feed-forward equal-izer(FFE)is employed in the quarter-rate transmitter(TX).The half-rate receiver(RX)incorporates a continuous-time linear equal-izer(CTLE),a 3-stage high-speed slicer with multi-clock-phase sampling,and a clock and data recovery(CDR).The experimen-tal results show that the TRx operates at a maximum speed of 56 Gb/s with chip-on board(COB)*** 2. Gb/s NRZ eye diagram shows a far-end vertical eye opening of 2.0 mV with an output amplitude of 351 mV single-ended and the 56 Gb/s PAM-4 eye diagram exhibits far-end eye opening of 33 mV(upper-eye),31 mV(mid-eye),and 2. mV(lower-eye)with an output amplitude of 353 mV *** recovered 14 GHz clock from the RX exhibits random jitter(RJ)of 469 fs and deterministic jitter(DJ)of 8.76 *** 875 Mb/s de-multiplexed data features 593 ps horizontal eye opening with 32.02.ps RJ,at bit-error rate(BER)of 10-5(0.53 UI).The power dissipation of TX and RX are 12. and 181.4 mW,respectively,from a 0.9-V sup-ply.

The development of high-energy and long-lifespan NASICON-type cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries has always been a research hotspot but a daunting *** Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)has emerged as one of the most promising high-energy-density cathode materials owing to its three-electron reactions,it still suffers from serious structural distortion upon repetitive charge/discharge processes caused by the Jahn-Teller active Mn^(3+).Herein,the selective substitution of Cr by Zr in Na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)was explored to enhance the structural stability,due to the pinning effect of Zr ions and the≈2.9-electron reactions,as-prepared Na_(3.9)MnCr_(0.9)Zr_(0.1)(PO_(4))_(3)/C delivers a high capacity retention of 85.94%over 500 cycles at 5 C and an ultrahigh capacity of 156.4 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 C,enabling the stable energy output as high as 555.2.Wh kg^(-1).Moreover,during the whole charge/discharge process,a small volume change of only 6.7%was verified by in situ X-ray diffraction,and the reversible reactions of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(4+),Mn^(3+)/Mn^(4+),and Mn^(2.)/Mn^(3+)redox couples were identified via ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy *** intermittent titration technique tests and density functional theory calculations further demonstrated the fast reaction kinetics of the Na_(3.9)MnCr_(0.9)Zr_(0.1)(PO_(4))_(3)/C *** work offers new opportunities for designing high-energy and high-stability NASICON cathodes by ion doping.

Infectious disease departments in hospitals require pressure gradient to create unidirectional airflow to prevent the spread of contaminants,typically by creating active air infiltration through the difference between supply and exhaust air *** door gap is the channel of air flow between rooms,so its height has an important influence on the pressure difference and infiltration air volume of the *** is still a lack of research on setting reasonable ventilation strategies according to the different heights of door gaps at different positions in the *** this study,model of a set of isolation wards was established and analyzed using the multi-zone simulation software CONTAM,and the ventilation strategies with different heights of door gaps were applied to the actual infection diseases *** results show that in a building with ventilation system divided by functional area,the difference in the height of the door gaps requires different active infiltration air *** fluctuations in the medical and patient corridors are greater than in other *** significance of this study is to understand the active infiltration of air to guide the design and operation of ventilation systems in infectious disease hospitals or building remodeled to isolate close contacts of COVID-19 *** is also instructive for the design of pressure gradients in clean workshops,biological laboratories,and other similar buildings.

Residual fluoride self-activated effect enabling upgraded utilization of recycled graphite anode

Recycling graphite anode from spent lithium-ion batteries(SLIBs)is regarded as a crucial approach to promoting sustainable energy storage ***,the recycled graphite(RG)generally presents degraded structure and ***,the residual fluoride self-activated effect is proposed for the upgraded utilization of *** and low-energy water immersion treatment not only widens the interlayer spacing,but also retains appropriate fluoride on the surface of *** analysis and experiments demonstrate that the residual fluoride can optimize Li~+migration and deposition kinetics,resulting in better Li~+intercalation/deintercalation in the interlayer and more stable Li metal plating/stripping on the surface of RG,As a result,the designed LFP||RG full cells achieve ultrahigh reversibility(~100%Coulombic efficiency),high capacity retention(67%after 2.0 cycles,0.85 N/P ratio),and commendable adaptability(stable cycling without short-circuiting,0.15 N/P ratio).The energy density is improved from 334 Wh kg^(-1)of 1.1 N/P ratio to 367 Wh kg^(-1)of 0.85 N/P ratio(total mass based on cathode and anode).The exploration of RG by residual fluoride self-activated effect achieves upgraded utilization beyond fresh commercial graphite and highlights a new strategy for efficient reuse of SLIBs.

Geothermal energy extraction often results in the release of naturally occurring carbon dioxide(CO_(2.)as a *** on carbon storage using volcanic rock types other than basalt under both acidic and elevated temperature conditions has been limited so *** study uses batch reactor experiments at 100℃ to investigate the dissolution of andesite rock samples obtained from an active geothermal reservoir in Sumatra(Indonesia).The samples are subjected to reactions with neutral-pH fluids and acidic fluids,mimicking the geochemical responses upon reinjection of geothermal fluids,either without or with dissolved acidic gases,*** elemental analysis reveals the release of Ca^(2.)ions into the fluids through the dissolution of *** overall dissolution rate of the rock samples is 2.4×10^(–11)to 4.2.10^(–11)mol/(m^(2.·s),based on the Si release during the initial 7 h of the *** dissolution rates are about two orders of magnitude lower than those reported for basaltic rocks under similar reaction *** study offers valuable insights into the potential utilization of andesite reservoirs for effective CO_(2. storage via mineralization.
