Effects of Bacillus subtilis Var. Natto Products on Capillary Blood Flow in Healthy Subjects with Peripheral Coldness: A Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Randomized Parallel Study

Purpose: NKCP®, a natto-derived dietary food supplement whose main component is bacillopeptidase F produced by Bacillus subtilis var. natto, has antithrombotic, fibrinolytic, and pressure-lowering effects, and also is suggested to improve peripheral coldness. However, existing data are based on subjective evaluations with no scientific basis about the effects on peripheral coldness. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effectiveness of NKCP®for peripheral coldness by measuring changes in blood flow using a laser doppler rheometer and biochemical indices. Patients and Methods: This was a double-blind, randomized, controlled study of individuals aged 30 - 70 years who complained of subjective symptoms of cold hands and feet. They were randomly divided into the NKCP®group and the placebo group to receive NKCP®250 mg once daily and dextrin 250 mg as placebo once daily, respectively. The experiment lasted 8 weeks, with an intervention period of 4 weeks and a washout period of 4 weeks. Results: One-month intake of NKCP®significantly increased blood flow rate for 1 min between 4 and 5 minutes after the end of cold loading compared to that before feeding (p = 0.038). Also, analysis of the 5-minute blood flow rate before and after 4 weeks of feeding showed a significant improvement in the NKCP®group (p = 0.007), although there was no significant difference in the placebo group (p = 0.215). Furthermore, the 5-minute blood flow at 4 weeks after the end of feeding was significantly improved compared to that before feeding in the NKCP®group (p = 0.049). Therefore, the effect continued for at least 1 month after discontinuation of administration. Conclusions: It is possible that NKCP®intake effectively improves blood flow in subjects with peripheral coldness. Therefore, continuous intake of NKCP®is expected to reduce the symptoms of peripheral coldness. In the future, it needs to investigate whether the effect of increasing blood flo

Report for Type 2 Bayes-Fuzzy Estimation in No-Data Problem

It is well known that the system (1 + 1) can be unequal to 2, because this system has both observation error and system error. Furthermore, we must provide our mustered service within our cool head and warm heart, where two states of nature are existing upon us. Any system is regarded as the two-dimensional variable error model. On the other hand, we consider that the fuzziness is existing in this system. Though we can usually obtain the fuzzy number from the possibility theory, it is not fuzzy but possibility, because the possibility function is as same as the likelihood function, and we can obtain the possibility measure by the maximal likelihood method (i.e. max product method proposed by Dr. Hideo Tanaka). Therefore, Fuzzy is regarded as the only one case according to Vague, which has both some state of nature in this world and another state of nature in the other world. Here, we can consider that Type 1 Vague Event in other world can be obtained by mapping and translating from Type 1 fuzzy Event in this world. We named this estimation as Type 1 Bayes-Fuzzy Estimation. When the Vague Events were abnormal (ex. under War), we need to consider that another world could exist around other world. In this case, we call it Type 2 Bayes-Fuzzy Estimation. Where Hori et al. constructed the stochastic different equation upon Type 1 Vague Events, along with the general following probabilistic introduction method from the single regression model, multi-regression model, AR model, Markov (decision) process, to the stochastic different equation. Furthermore, we showed that the system theory approach is Possibility Markov Process, and that the making decision approach is Sequential Bayes Estimation, too. After all, Type 1 Bays-Fuzzy estimation is the special case in Bayes estimation, because the pareto solutions can exist in two stochastic different equations upon Type 2 Vague Events, after we ignore one equation each other (note that this is Type 1 case), we can obtain both its

Measuring vulnerability to COVID-19 and healthcare accessibility at the fine-grained level serves as the foundation for spatially explicit health planning and policy making in response to future public health ***,the evaluation of vulnerability and healthcare accessibility is insufficient in Japan-a nation with high population density and super-aging *** on the 2022 census data,transport network,medical and digital cadastral data,land use maps,and points of interest data,our study extends the concept of vulnerability in the context of COVID-19 and constructs the first fine-grained measure of vulnerability and healthcare accessibility in Tokyo Metropolis,Japan-the most populated metropolitan region in the *** delineate the vulnerable neighbourhoods with low healthcare access and further evaluate the disparity in healthcare access and built environment of areas at different levels of *** outcome datasets and findings provide nuanced and timely evidence to government and health authorities to have a holistic and latest understanding of social vulnerability to COVID-19 and healthcare access at a fine-grained *** analytical framework can be employed in different geographic contexts,guiding through place-based health planning and policy making in the post-COVID era and beyond.

为调查饱和珊瑚砂液化相关特性与发展规律,针对饱和Chibishi珊瑚砂,开展一系列不排水循环三轴试验,研究相对密度D r和循环应力比CSR对饱和Chibishi珊瑚砂的超孔隙水压力Δu、轴向应变εa及动强度特性的影响,并分析不同地区珊瑚砂抗液化强度的差异性。结果表明,饱和Chibishi珊瑚砂的Δu发展模式根据不同的CSR水平可以分为前期均匀增长型、前期突增型和后期突增型;此外,采用一种新的孔压模型对前期均匀增长型、前期突增型的孔压比r u进行表征,Chibishi珊瑚砂在相同的D r条件下,双幅应变εDA达到5%的循环次数N随着CSR水平的增加而逐渐减小;各珊瑚砂在同一里氏震级对应的等效循环振动次数下,抗液化强度CRR的增长模式存在显著差异。研究结果可丰富对珊瑚砂液化特征的认知,同时对近岸和沿海工程的抗震设计提供参考依据。

Gonad traits and age structure of the sea urchin Heliocidaris crassispina in central range:a comparison with rangeextenders

The sea urchin Heliocidaris crassispina has northern expanded in geographic range to Toga Bay,Oga Peninsula in the Sea of Japan due to the global *** demonstrate the gonad traits and age structure of *** in the central range and compare the difference with those in northern extended range,we collected 100 *** individuals from a barren off Shitsumi,Fukui(central range),in August *** growth,gonad traits(size,development and color),and sex ratio were investigated and compared with those in Toga Bay,in August 2014(extended range).The successive 2012–2016 year classes of *** indicated successive juvenile recruitment in the central range,as found in the extended *** individuals at three years old in central range were obviously larger than those in the extended range,showing large test diameter and body weight,possibly due to the higher temperature in central range than that in northern extended *** addition,a balanced sex ratio in the central range was found,in contrast to the female-skewed sex ratio found in the extended *** development was sex-and *** testicular development in the central range was not only delayed in comparison to ovarian development,but also less delayed than those in the extended range,which possibly attribute to the higher water temperature in the central range.A significantly lower male gonad index and L*(lightness)value was recorded in central ranges compared to that in extended range,possibly due to the releasement of sperm of *** in central ranges.

Ab Initio Two-Phase Molecular Dynamics on the Melting Curve of SiO_2

Ab initio two-phase molecular dynamics simulations were performed on silica at pressures of 20-160 GPa and temperatures of 2 500-6 000 K to examine its solid-liquid phase boundary. Results indicate a melting temperature （Tin） of 5 900 K at 135 GPa. This is 1 100 K higher than the temperature considered for the core-mantle boundary （CMB） of about 3 800 K. The calculated melting temperature is fairly consistent with classical MD （molecular dynamics） simulations. For liquid silica, the O-O coordination number is found to be 12 along the Tm and is almost unchanged with increasing pressure. The self-diffusion coefficients of O and Si atoms are determined to be 1.3×10^-9-3.3×10^-9 m2/s, and the viscosity is 0.02-0.03 Pa＇s along the Tin. We find that these transport properties depend less on pressure in the wide range up of more than 135 GPa. The eutectic temperatures in the MgO-SiO2 systems were evaluated and found to be 700 K higher than the CMB temperature, though they would decrease considerably in more realistic mantle compositions.

Counter-Rotating Type Tidal Stream Power Unit Boarded on Pillar(Performances and Flow Conditions of Tandem Propellers)

The authors have invented the unique counter-rotating type tidal stream power unit composed of the tandem propellers and the double rotational armature type peculiar generator without the traditional stator. The front and the rear propellers counter-drive the inner and the outer armatures of the peculiar generator, respectively. The unit has the fruitful advantages that not only the output is sufficiently higher without supplementary equipment such as a gearbox, but also the rotational moment hardly act on the pillar because the rotational torque of both propellers/armatures are counter-balanced in the unit. This paper discusses experimentally the performances of the power unit and the effects of the propeller rotation on the sea surface. The axial force acting on the pillar increases naturally with the increase of not only the stream velocity but also the drag of the tandem propellers. Besides, the force vertical to the stream also acts on the pillar, which is induced from the Karman vortex street and the dominant frequencies appear owing to the front and the rear propeller rotations. The propeller rotating in close to the sea surface brings the abnormal wave and the amplitude increases as the stream velocity is faster and/or the drag is stronger.

ESTIMATION OF CHAIN REACTION BANKRUPTCY STRUCTURE BY CHANCE DISCOVERY METHO—WITH TIME ORDER METHOD AND DIRECTED KEYGRAPH

Chain reaction bankruptcy is regarded as common phenomenon and its effect is to be taken into account when credit risk portfolio is analyzed. But consideration and modeling of its effect leave much room for improvement. That is mainly because method for grasping relations among companies with limited data is underdeveloped. In this article, chance discovery method is applied to estimate industrial relations that are to include companies＇ relations that transmit chain reaction of bankruptcy. Time order method and directed KeyGraph are newly introduced to distinguish and express the time order among defaults that is essential information for the analysis of chain reaction bankruptcy. The steps for the data analysis are introduced and result of example analysis with default data in Kyushu, Japan, 2005 is presented. The structure estimated by the new method is compared with the structure of actual account receivable holders of bankrupted companies for evaluation.
