The surface tension of troposphere aerosols can significantly influence their atmospheric processes and key properties, particularly on the morphology, the phase transition, the activation as cloud condensation nuclei, and the gas-particle partitioning. However, directly measuring the surface tension of single ambient aerosol is quite challenging, due to the limitations of their picolitre volumes and thermal motion. Here, we developed a dual laser tweezers Raman spectroscopy(DLT-RS) system to directly sense the surface tension of single airborne microdroplets(PM10particles). A pair of aerosol droplets were trapped and driven to coalesce by the laser tweezers. Meanwhile, the backscattering light intensity and brightfield images during the coalescence process were recorded to characterize the aerosol surface tension. A remarkable advantage of directly sensing aerosol surface tension is that the solutes in aerosols are often supersaturated, which is common in atmospheric aerosols but almost unavailable in bulk *** experimentally measured the surface tension of aerosols composed of nitrates or oxalic acid/nitrate mixture. Besides, the variation of surface tension during aerosol aging process was also explored, which brings possible implications on the surface evolution of actual ambient aerosol during their atmospheric lifetime.

Building occupant presence during varying periods is crucial to the performance studies of buildings and city ***,the understanding of the building occupancies on the university campus remains *** address this gap,our study employs field measurements,payment records,course arrangements,and building access systems to depict the occupancy patterns of the canteen,dormitory,library,and teaching and lab buildings during weekdays and *** found that the occupancy rates across different buildings are somehow interrelated,given that the total number of occupants on campus is generally ***,dormitory occupancy rates tend to be low during the morning and afternoon course hours,which inversely correlates with the high occupancy rates in the teaching and lab buildings during these ***,canteens experience surges in occupancy during meal times,which coincide with a decrease in library ***,we established appliance operation schedules for dormitories through surveys and on-site *** dispensers and electronic devices were identified as the primary energy consumers for both male and female occupants,with desk-top fans and hairdryers being significant energy users for male and female occupants,*** findings are essential for energy studies within a campus setting,underlining the importance of considering occupant behaviors on a regional scale.

Mechanical properties and energy evolutions of burst-prone coal samples with holes and fillings

During the mining process of impact-prone coal seams,drilling pressure relief can reduce the impact propensity of the coal seam,but it also reduces the integrity and strength of the coal mass at the side of the ***,studying the mechanical properties and energy evolution rules of coal samples containing holes and filled structures has certain practical significance for achieving coordinated control of coal mine rockburst disasters and the stability of roadway surrounding *** achieve this aim,seven types of burst-prone coal samples were prepared and subject to uniaxial compression experiments with the aid of a TAW-3.00 electro-hydraulic servo testing ***,the stress–strain curves,acoustic emission signals,DIC strain fields and other data were collected during the ***,the failure modes and energy evolutions of samples with varying drilled hole sizes and filling materials were *** results show that the indexes related to burst propensity of the drilled coal samples decline to some extent compared with those of the intact one,and the decline is positively corelated to the diameter of the drilled *** hole filling,the strain concentration degree around the drilled hole is lowered to a certain degree,and polyurethane filling has a more remarkable effect than cement ***,hole filling can enhance the strength and deformation resistance of *** drilling can accelerate the release of accumulated elastic strain energy,turning the acoustic emission events from low-frequency and high-energy ones to high-frequency and low-energy ones,whereas hole filling can reduce the intensity of energy *** experimental results and theoretical derivation demonstrate that hole filling promotes coal deformability and strength mainly by weakening stress concentration surrounding the drilled ***,the fillings can achieve a better filling effect if their elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio are closer

The deformation monitoring of long-span railway bridges is significant to ensure the safety of human life and *** interferometric synthetic aperture radar(In SAR)technology has the advantage of high accuracy in bridge deformation *** study monitored the deformation of the Ganjiang Super Bridge based on the small baseline subsets(SBAS)In SAR technology and Sentinel-1A *** analyzed the deformation results combined with bridge structure,temperature,and riverbed sediment *** results are as follows:(1)The Ganjiang Super Bridge area is stable overall,with deformation rates ranging from-15.6 mm/yr to 10.7 mm/yr(2)The settlement of the Ganjiang Super Bridge deck gradually increases from the bridge tower toward the main span,which conforms to the typical deformation pattern of a cable-stayed bridge.(3.The sediment scouring from the riverbed cause the serious settlement on the bridge’s east side compared with that on the west side.(4)The bridge deformation negatively correlates with temperature,with a faster settlement at a higher temperature and a slow rebound trend at a lower *** study findings can provide scientific data support for the health monitoring of long-span railway bridges.

Dwindling energy sources and a worsening environment are huge global problems,and biomass wastes are an under-exploited source of material for both energy and material ***,self-template decoction dregs of Ganoderma lucidum-derived porous carbon nanotubes(ST-DDLGCs)were synthesized via a facile and scalable strategy in response to these ***-DDLGCs exhibited a large surface area(173..51 m^(2)g^(-1))and high pore volume(0.76 cm^(3.g^(-1)),due to the interlacing tubular structures of precursors and extra-hierarchical porous structures on tube *** the ST-DDLGC/PMS system,the degradation efficiency of capecitabine(CAP)reached~97.3.within 120 ***,ST-DDLGCs displayed high catalytic activity over a wide pH range of 3.9,and strong anti-interference to these typical and ubiquitous anions in wastewater and natural water bodies(i.e.,H_(2)PO_(4)^(-),NO_(3.^(-),Cl^(-) and HCO_(3.^(-)),in which a ^(1)O_(2)-dominated oxidation was identified and non-radical mechanisms were ***,ST-DDLGC-based coin-type symmetrical supercapacitors exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance,with specific capacitances of up to 3.8.1 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),and cycling stability of up to 98.6%after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g^(-1).The superior properties of ST-DDLGCs could be attributed to the unique porous tubular structure,which facilitated mass transfer and presented numerous active *** results highlight ST-DDLGCs as a potential candidate for constructing inexpensive and advanced environmentally functional materials and energy storage devices.

In frequency-division duplex massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems， a bidirectional positional attention network (BPANet) is proposed to address the high computational complexity and low accuracy of existing deep learning-based channel state information (CSI) feedback methods. Specifically， a bidirectional position attention module (BPAM) is designed in the proposed BPANet to improve the network performance. The BPAM captures the distribution characteristics of the CSI matrix by integrating channel and spatial dimension information， thereby enhancing the feature representation of the CSI matrix. Furthermore， channel attention is decomposed into two one-dimensional feature encoding processes， which effectively reduce computational costs. Simulation results demonstrate that， compared with the existing representative method CLNet， BPANet reduces computational complexity by an average of 19.4% and improves accuracy by an average of 7.1%. Additionally， it performs better in terms of running time delay and cosine similarity.

The spontaneous bursts of electrical activity in the developing auditory system are derived from the periodic release of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)by supporting cells in the Kölliker’s ***,the mechanisms responsible for initiating spontaneous ATP release have not been *** previous study revealed that telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT)is expressed in the basilar membrane during the first postnatal *** role in cochlear development remains *** this study,we investigated the expression and role of TERT in postnatal cochlea supporting *** results revealed that in postnatal cochlear Kölliker’s organ supporting cells,TERT shifts from the nucleus into the cytoplasm over *** found that the TERT translocation tendency in postnatal cochlear supporting cells in vitro coincided with that observed in *** analysis showed that TERT in the cytoplasm was mainly located in mitochondria in the absence of oxidative stress or apoptosis,suggesting that TERT in mitochondria plays roles other than antioxidant or anti-apoptotic *** observed increased ATP synthesis,release and activation of purine signaling systems in supporting cells during the first 10 postnatal *** phenomenon that TERT translocation coincided with changes in ATP synthesis,release and activation of the purine signaling system in postnatal cochlear supporting cells suggested that TERT may be involved in regulating ATP release and activation of the purine signaling *** study provides a new research direction for exploring the spontaneous electrical activity of the cochlea during the early postnatal period.
