Transformers may suffer multiple short-circuit impacts during long-term operation,and axial instability is one of the typical types of serious accidents caused by short-circuit *** axial instability form of the winding-block structure is analysed,and the dynamic solution of the winding short-circuit electromagnetic force is obtained by estab-lishing the three-dimensional magnetic-circuit-force multi-physical field coupling simulation *** influence of strain rate on the cushion block constitutive equation is corrected,and the modified model is verified by short-circuit impact test and quasi-static *** research results show that for 110 kV 31.5 MVA transformers,the maximum electromagnetic axial resultant force of winding is 363.16 kN,and the ultimate tilt force is 1214.2 *** pre-tightening force configuration is accordingly recom-mended to range from 363.16 to 608.28 kN,which is narrowed by 18.49%compared with the static calculation method;Meanwhile,adding a logarithmic strain rate correction term to the classical constitutive equation of the cushion block can achieve a good correction of the stress-strain relationship with the coefficient of determination above 0.99,and the cushion block has a larger elastic modulus under high strain rate *** research results provide an important theoretical reference for the axial stability structure of transformers.

β-Chiral sulfones are structural motifs widely found in natural products and bioactive molecules, while also serving as important intermediates for the synthesis of valuable chiral scaffolds. In contrast to the rapid growth of sulfur dioxide insertion chemistry over the last decade, enantioselective catalytic variants for accessing β-chiral sulfones, especially those bearing a quaternary carbon stereocenter, remain rare. Herein, we report an enantioselective copper/bisoxazoline catalyzed oxysulfonylation of alkenes to yield isoxazolinyl-containing β-chiral sulfones bearing quaternary carbon stereocenters with moderate to excellent yields and up to 96:4 er. The advantage and irreplaceability of this sulfur dioxide insertion catalytic system have been demonstrated by achieving transformations clearly unavailable with the previously reported sulfonyl chloride system. Additionally,the recoverability of the new-developed bisoxazoline ligand L9 and its reusability without any erosion of the catalytic activity and enantioselectivity further demonstrate the usefulness of the protocol.

The rotating stall mechanism is of high importance for the stability of centrifugal compressors and thermal power *** majority of research concerning this topic has concentrated on the initial stall ***,the evolution of stall cells in wide-long diffusers has not been comprehensively *** this paper,the causes of rotating stall in the wide-long diffuser and the three-dimensional evolution mechanism of stall cells during the stall process were thoroughly *** the stall induction phase,an annulus vortex structure was found in the reverse-flow zone near the hub side of the diffuser outlet,which was the initial form of stall *** whole evolution process of stall cells was divided into three phases as the flow rate *** the initial stall phase,the dynamic equilibrium was built under effects of the impeller wake and the adverse pressure *** a result,the number of stall cells was kept at seven and the size of stall cells remained *** the transition phase,the flow in the diffuser became *** cells extended to the impeller outlet,and the effect of the wake flow was strengthened *** cells started integrating and separating *** a result,the number and propagation speed of stall cells varied periodically at a constant mass flow *** the deep stall phase,the size of stall cells remained unchanged,and the number of stall cells kept at *** study has important practical guidance and engineering value for the high-efficiency design and safe operation of centrifugal compressors.

Selective activation of C-O bond is of fundamental importance in the precise conversion of oxygenates into value-added compounds in an atom-economic and sustainable manner, and meanwhile, the structurally well-defined dual-atoms catalysts (DACs) have been scarcely investigated in this field. In this study, a series of transition metal DACs anchored on nitrogen-doped graphene (TM2/NC, TM=Pt, Ir, Rh, Pd, Ru, Co, Ni and Cu) was constructed to make a comprehensive investigation of their selectivity in the hydrogenative transformation of furfuryl alcohol (FAL), an important biomass platform molecule, to 1,2-pentanediol (1,2-PeD) via selective cleavage of furanic C5-O bond, by density functional theory (DFT) calculations and microkinetic modeling. We found that Ir2/NC demonstrated a high selectivity for the cleavage of furanic C5-O bond to produce 1,2-PeD, while the production of THFAL or 1,5-pentanediol (1,5-PeD) on other TM2/NC catalysts are more favorable. Furthermore, we found that the selective C-O bond cleavage of FAL furan ring is affected by the orbital overlap between the d-orbitals of the anchored metal atoms and the p-orbitals of the adsorbed C atom in FAL, suggesting that the selectivity of the C-O bond cleavage is inextricably related with the electronic property of the anchored metals.

Precise control of the evaporation of multiple droplets on patterned surfaces is crucial in many technological applications,such as anti‐icing,coating,and high‐throughput ***,the complex evaporation process of multiple droplets on well‐defined patterned surfaces is still poorly ***,we develop a digital twin system for real‐time monitoring of key processes on a droplet microarray(DMA),which is essential for parallelization and automation of the operations for cell ***,we investigate the evaporation of multiple nanoliter droplets under different conditions via experiments and numerical *** demonstrate that the evaporation rate is not only affected by the environmental humidity and temperature but is also strongly linked to the droplet distribution on the patterned surfaces,being significantly reduced when the droplets are densely ***,we propose a theoretical method to aid in the experimental detection of volumes and pH variation of evaporating droplets on patterned *** versatile and practical strategy allows us to achieve active maneuvering of the collective evaporation of droplets on a DMA,which provides essential implications for a wide range of applications including cell culture,heat management,microreactors,biochips,and so on.

Precisely designing atomic metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)catalysts with asymmetric diatomic configurations and studying their structure–activity relationships for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)are important for zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,a dualatomic-site catalyst(DASC)with CoN_(3)S-MnN_(2)S_(2) configuration was prepared for the cathodes of *** with Co-N-C(Mn-free)and CoMn-N-C(S-free doping),CoMn-N/S-C exhibits excellent half-wave potential(0.883 V)and turnover frequency(1.54 e·s^(−1)·site^(−1)),surpassing most of the reported state-of-the-art Pt-free ORR *** CoMn-N/S-C-based ZABs achieve extremely high specific capacity(959 mAh·g^(−1))and good stability(350 h@5 mA·cm^(−2)).Density functional theory(DFT)calculation shows that the introduction of Mn and S can break the electron configuration symmetry of the original Co 3d orbital,lower the dband center of the Co site,and optimize the desorption behavior of*OH intermediate,thereby increasing the ORR activity.

Metastasis accounts for the major cause of colorectal cancer(CRC)related mortality due to the lack of effective *** this study,we integrated the single-cell RNA-seq(sc RNA-seq)and bulk RNA-seq data and identified the transcriptional coactivator SUB1 homolog(SacSaccharomyces cerevisiae)/PC4(positive cofactor 4)associated with CRC *** SUB1 expression was correlated with advanced tumor stage and poor survival in *** vivo and vitro assays showed that SUB1 depletion could inhibit the invasive and metastatic abilities of CRC ***1 activated NF-κB signaling and its transcriptional target genes CXCL1 and CXCL3 to drive CRC ***,SUB1 integrated with the e3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR5 and increased its protein level in CRC ***,the increased UBR5mainly mediated Lys11-linked polyubiquitination and degradation of NF-κB negative regulator UBXN1,thus to activate the NF-κB ***,our study demonstrated that SUB1 promoted CRC progression by modulating UBR5/UBXN1 and activating NF-κB signaling,providing a new therapeutic strategy for treating metastatic CRC through targeting SUB1.

LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)is the most promising cathode for high-energy Li-ion batteries,despite its poor cycling stability that originates from the reactions that occur with the ***,to solve this interfacial issue,a facile electrolytic electrochemical polymerization process was introduced in this paper,and a uniform conductive electrolyte interface(polyaniline)was successfully constructed on the surface of the NCM811 porous electrode(PANI-NCM),which facilitated the charge transfer during charge/*** side reactions at the interface between the cathode and the electrolyte are suppressed,and thereby,the cycling performance and rate capability are considerably ***-NCM delivers an initial capacity of 157.2 mAh·g^(-1)as well as excellent cyclability(capacity retention of 88%after 500 cycles at 2C),whereas the capacity of the bare NCM811 has dropped to 31.3 mAh·g^(-1).In addition,polypyrrole and polythiophene also can be formed through electrolytic electrochemical polymerization process,which provides a practicable tactic to modify the interfacial stability of cathodes for high-energy Li-ion batteries.

Bone tissue engineering provides a promising strategy for the treatment of bone ***,the clinical utilization of biomaterial-based scaffolds is constrained by their inadequate mechanical strength and absence of osteo-inductive ***,we proposed to endow nano-scaffold(NS)constructed by coaxial electrospinning technique with enhanced osteogenic bioactivities and mechanical properties by incorporating biocompatible magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs)and icaritin(ICA).Four types of nano-scaffolds(NS,ICA@NS,NS-IONPs and ICA@NS-IONPs)were *** incorporation of ICA and IONPs minimally impact their surface morphological and chemical *** enhanced the mechanical properties of NS scaffolds,including hardness,tensile strength,and elastic *** vitro assessments demonstrated that ICA@NS-IONPs exhibited enhanced osteogenic bioactivities towards mouse calvarial pre-osteoblast cell line MC3T3-e1 as evidenced by detecting the alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity level,expressions of osteogenesis-related genes and proteins as well as mineralized nodule *** investigations revealed that MeK/eRK(MAP kinase-eRK kinase(MeK)/extracellularsignal-regulated kinase(eRK))signaling pathway could offer a plausible explanation for the osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-e1 cells induced by ICA@***,the implantation of nano-scaffolds in rat skull defects exhibited a substantial improvement in in vivo bone ***,IONPs and ICA incorporated coaxial electrospinning nano-scaffolds present a novel strategy for the optimization of scaffolds for bone tissue engineering.
