Observation and analysis of the influence of wind waves on air-sea momentum fluxes

Due to the long-standing lack of understanding the role of wind waves on wind stress at moderate to high wind speeds,a high-frequency turbulence observation system is used in this study to obtain air-sea momentum flux data under pure wind wave conditions based on the tower-based marine meteorological observation platform in the southern Bohai Sea.Moreover,the modulation of wind waves on wind stress under wind speeds greater than 10 m s^(–1)is analyzed.The results indicated that the wind wave states caused by winds from the northwest and northeast are different under the influence of cold air,resulting in different wind stresses and drag coefficients.The wind stress increases with an increasing wind speed,reaching its maximum value when the northwest wind is nearly 20 m s^(–1),while the extreme value of the drag coefficient is basically the same when the northwest wind speed is the maximum and the northeast wind wave significant wave height is the maximum.The drag coefficient increases with an increasing wind speed within the range of 10–15 m s^(–1),reaching saturation at 15 m s^(–1).The critical wind speed is smaller than other observed results.Further analysis showed that wind-induced turbulent stress deviates from the observed values,and the degree of deviation depends on the wind speed and wave state,with a greater deviation caused by strong winds and waves.The wave-induced stress can correct the negative deviation between wind-induced turbulent stress and the observed value,and the drag coefficient calculated based on the modified wind stress tends to be close to the observed value overall.

伪蛋白是一种新型合成生物可降解材料,以氨基酸为基本结构单元,它与蛋白质不同的是除了含有肽键外,还含有其他连接基团,这种结构使其既具有蛋白质的优良特性,又具有良好的力学性能、热性能、可调节的物理化学性能以及优异的细胞相容性和3D微孔结构等性质,因此伪蛋白能够有效应用于载体、伤口愈合、组织工程等生物医药领域。本文首先综述了目前所研究的伪蛋白的类型,包括非功能性和功能性伪蛋白两类;之后详细阐述了缩聚合成伪蛋白的方法,包括溶液缩聚、界面聚合、熔融缩聚、开环聚合四种方法;接着归纳了伪蛋白生物材料在药物载体、基因载体、组织工程、创面敷料等方面的应用;最后,对伪蛋白生物材料在合成路线及应用方面未来的发展进行了探讨和展望。

Variation characteristics of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide in summertime at a coastal site in the South China Sea

Methane(CH_(4))and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))are the two most important greenhouse gases(GHGs).To examine the variation characteristics of CH_(4)and CO_(2)in the coastal South China Sea,atmospheric CH_(4)and CO_(2)measurements were performed in Bohe(BH),Guangdong,China,in summer 2021.By using an adaptive data analysis method,the diurnal patterns of CH_(4)and CO_(2)were clearly extracted and analysed in relation to the sea breeze(SB)and land breeze(LB),respectively.The average concentrations of CH_(4)and CO_(2)were 1876.91±31.13 ppb and 407.99±4.24 ppm during SB,and 1988.12±109.92 ppb and 421.54±14.89 ppm during LB,respectively.The values of CH_(4)and CO_(2)during SB basically coincided with the values and trends of marine background sites,showing that the BH station could serve as an ideal site for background GHG monitoring and dynamic analysis.The extracted diurnal variations in CH_(4)and CO_(2)showed sunrise high and sunset low patterns(with peaks at 5:00–7:00)during LB but mid-morning high and evening low patterns(with peaks at 9:00)during SB.The diurnal amplitude changes in both CH_(4)and CO_(2)during LB were almost two to three times those during SB.Wind direction significantly modulated the diurnal variations in CH_(4)and CO_(2).The results in this study provide a new way to examine the variations in GHGs on different timescales and can also help us gain a better understanding of GHG sources and distributions in the South China Sea.

Existence, morphology and structure of the Yellow Sea Warm Current Branch approaching waters offshore Qingdao, China

In this study, we focused on full-region cruise survey data, near-bottom continuous mooring observations and sea surface wind products from the western South Yellow Sea in winter; after ensuring the data reliability and accuracy, we processed and analyzed the data. Image resolution experiments were carried out to determine the lowest recognition resolutions for all image types, which represent the resolution characteristics of the data. The existence of a warm water tongue originating from the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC) that approached waters offshore Qingdao was confirmed. For the first time, a high salinity water tongue, corresponding to the warm water tongue, was described and found to be more representative of the YSWC branch path. This warm tongue is a sign of the branch originating from the YSWC, which we defined as the Yellow Sea Warm Current Branch approaching waters offshore Qingdao(YSWC-QDB). The pattern of the warm and salty water tongues showed remarkable rear, branching middle, shrinking neck and expanding top regions. These patterns showed a temporal feature of the tongues, and were the result of multi-temporal branches in front of the YSWC main section as well as the YSWC-QDB crossing the southwestward path of the extension of the North Shandong Coastal Current flowing along the southeast coast of the Shandong Peninsula(NSCC-SESE). Analysis using mooring data at a sensitive and representative station also showed the existence of the YSWC-QDB. It is a probabilistic event that manifests as a northwestward flow that decreases gradually from the bottom to the surface in the early cold air transit stage and consistent in the whole water column profile in the later stage. It varies quasi-periodically with weather processes. It also transports some of the YSWC water stored in the entrance area of the Bohai and Yellow seas under winter wind conditions to the western South Yellow Sea as a compensatory current. 考察了一种丙烯酸-聚醚改性丙烯酸酯共聚物HS-C的结构特征、聚合物性能(螯合性、抗沉积性)以及表面活性(表面张力、临界胶束浓度、润湿性、乳化性、起泡性和去污力)。并分别对比了HS-C与常用螯合剂、抗再沉积剂以及表面活性剂在不同方面的性能。结果表明,HS-C的螯合值为554.70 mg/g,其螯合性能优于EDTA·4Na及GLDA·4Na,但略低于未改性的丙烯酸盐聚合物PM;其抗炭黑沉积性能与市售抗再沉积剂SRP接近,而PM无抗炭黑沉积作用。在表面活性方面,HS-C的临界胶束浓度和平衡表面张力分别为0.005%和41.85 mN/m;其润湿性能和泡沫性能比LAS、AEO-9、AES相对差,但乳化能力比低分子表面活性剂更好;HS-C具有比LAS更加优越的去污性能,与LAS、AEO-9、AES复配时存在协同增效去污的作用。

Synthesis and antiviral activity of some novel indole-2-carboxylate derivatives

A series of novel indole-2-carboxylate derivatives were synthesized and assayed to determine their in vitro broad-spectrum antiviral activities.The biological results showed that some of the synthesized compounds exhibited potent broad-spectrum antiviral activity.Notably,compound 8f showed the highest SI value(17.1)to Cox B3 virus.Compound 14f showed both potent inhibitory activity against influenza A(IC_(50)=7.53μmol/L)and the highest SI value(12.1).SAR results showed that the alkyloxy at the 4-position of indole ring was not crucial to the antiviral activities.Incorporation of an acetyl substituent at the amino group disfavored antiviral activity towards RNA viruses.

The observed tidal and residual currents in the Andaman Sea during the second half of 2016

The characteristics of currents and tidal currents in the Andaman Sea（AS） are studied during the second half of2016 using observed data from a moored acoustic Doppler current profiler（ADCP） deployed at 8.6°N, 95.6°E.During the observation period, the mean flow is 5–10 cm/s and largely southward. The root mean square and kinetic energies of the low and high frequency flows, which are divided by a cutoff period of 5 d, are at the same level, indicating their identical importance to the total current. A power spectrum analysis shows that intraseasonal oscillations, a tidal-related semilunar month signal, a semidiurnal tidal signal and periods of 3–4 d are prominent. The barocliny of an eddy kinetic energy is stronger than the mean kinetic energy, both of which are the strongest on the bottom and the weakest at 70 m depth. Residual currents are largely southward（northward） during the summer（winter） monsoon season. Two striking peaks of the southward flow cause the 80 d period of meridional currents. The first peak is part of a large-scale circulation, which enters the AS through the northern channel and exits through the southern channel, and the second peak is part of a local vortex. The 40 d oscillation of the zonal current is forced by geostrophic variations attributed to local and equatorial remote forcing. The tidal current is dominated by semidiurnal constituents, and among these, M2 and N2 are the top two largest major axes. Moreover, astronomical tidal constituents MM and MSF are also significant. Diurnal constituents are weak and shallow water tides are ignorable. The aims are to introduce the new current data observed in the AS and to provide initial insights for the tidal and residual currents in the Andaman Sea.

采用湿法消解-电感耦合等离子体质谱法,建立了高效测定果实类农产品中砷、铅、铬、镉、钼的方法。方法采用5mL硝酸和1mL过氧化氢消解样品,通过碰撞反应池(KED)、干扰校正方程和内标在线加入等方式排除干扰。结果表明:方法检出限在0.002~0.04mg/kg之间,用该方法测定6种生物成分分析标准物质,测定结果的相对误差为0.00%~8.33%,相对标准偏差为0.00%~9.80%(n=6)。该方法简便、高效,适用于果实类农产品中砷、铅、铬、镉、钼的测定。
