Passive residual heat removal heat exchanger(PRHR HX),which is a newly designed equipment in the advanced reactors of AP1000 and CAP1400,plays an important role in critical accidental *** primary and secondary side coupling heat transfer characteristics of the passive residual heat removal system(PRHRS)determine the capacity to remove core decay heat during the ***,it is necessary to investigate the heat transfer characteristics and develop applicable heat transfer formulas for optimized *** the present paper,an overall scaled-down natural circulation loop of PRHRS in AP1000,which comprises a scaleddown in-containment refueling water storage tank(IRWST)and PRHR HX models and a simulator of the reactor core,is built to simulate the natural circulation process in residual heat removal accidents.A series of experiments are conducted to study thermal-hydraulic behaviors in both sides of the miniaturized PRHR HX which is simulated by 12 symmetric arranged C-shape *** the local PRHR HX heat transfer performance,traditional natural convection correlations for both the horizontal and vertical bundles are compared with the experimental data to validate their applicability for the specific heat transfer ***,the revised natural convection heat transfer correlations based on the present experimental data are developed for PRHR HX vertical and lower horizontal *** paper provides essential references for the PRHRS operation and further optimized design.

The lack of hydrophobicity transfer capability has restricted the applications of insulating materials in environments with heavy *** this study,an epoxy resin insulating composite was prepared using a micro-capsule system to achieve hydrophobicity transfer triggered by creepage *** influence of the micro-capsules on the electrical properties of insulating materials and the hydrophobicity of the test samples before and after the creepage discharge test was *** results show that the poly(urea-formaldehyde)micro-capsules,which contained hydrogen silicone oil,have good morphology and thermal stability characteristics at temperatures below 222℃.Microcapsules have minor effects on the electrical properties of epoxy insulating ***,the hydrophobicity transfer capability of the test piece was improved considerably compared with that of the pure epoxy insulating *** study expands the application of micro-capsule technology in the field of insulating materials and provides a reference for the development of next-generation insulating materials.

It is expected that for a long time the future road trafc will be composed of both regular vehicles(RVs)and connected autonomous vehicles(CAVs).As a vehicle-to-infrastructure technology dedicated to facilitating CAV under the mixed trafc fow,roadside units(RSUs)can also improve the quality of information received by CAVs,thereby infuencing the routing behavior of CAV *** paper explores the possibility of leveraging the RSU deployment to afect the route choices of both CAVs and RVs and the adoption rate of CAVs so as to reduce the network congestion and *** this end,we frst establish a logit-based stochastic user equilibrium model to capture drivers’route choice and vehicle type choice behaviors provided the RSU deployment plan is ***,CAV users’perception error can be reduced by higher CAV penetration and denser RSUs deployed on the road due to the improved information *** the established equilibrium model,the RSU deployment problem is then formulated as a mathematical program with equilibrium *** active-set algorithm is presented to solve the deployment problem *** results suggest that an optimal RSU deployment plan can efectively drive the system towards one with lower network delay and emissions.

Chromosomes in eukaryotic cell nuclei are highly compacted and finely organized into hierarchical threedimensional(3 D) configuration. In recent years, scientists have gained deeper understandings of 3 D genome structures and revealed novel evidence linking 3 D genome organization to various important cell events on the molecular level. most importantly, alteration of 3 D genome architecture has emerged as an intriguing higher order mechanism that connects disease-related genetic variants in multiple heterogenous and polygenic neuropsychological disorders, delivering novel insights into the etiology. In this review, we provide a brief overview of the hierarchical structures of 3 D genome and two proposed regulatory models,loop extrusion and phase separation. We then focus on recent Hi-C data in the central nervous system and discuss 3 D genome alterations during normal brain development and in mature neurons. most importantly,we make a comprehensive review on current knowledge and discuss the role of 3 D genome in multiple neuropsychological disorders, including schizophrenia, repeat expansion disorders, 22 q11 deletion syndrome, and others.

To produce paraffin from hydrogenation/deoxygenation of palmitic acid,model compound of bio-oil obtained by hydrothermal liquefaction(HTL)of microalgae has been an attractive focus in recent *** order to avoid energy-intensive separation process of water and bio-oil,it is of importance that deoxygenation upgrading of fatty acids under hydrothermal conditions similar to HTL ***,it is the first time to explore the application of activated carbon(AC)-supported non-noble-metal catalysts,such as Ni,Co,and mo,and so on,in the hydrothermal hydrogenation/deoxygenation of long-chain fatty acids,and the obtained Ni/AC-H(the Ni/AC was further H_(2)pre-reduced)is one of the best *** addition,it is found that the catalytic activity can be further improved by H_(2)pre-reduction of *** results that are more low valences of nickel and oxygen vacancy can be obtained after H_(2)pre-reduction,thus significant promoting the deoxygenation especially the decarbonylation pathway of fatty *** total alkanes yield can reaches 95.9%at optimal conditions(280℃,360 min).This work confirmed that the low-priced AC-supported non-noble-metal catalysts have great potential compared with the noble-metal catalyst,in hydrothermal upgrading of bio-oil.

Gelman and Bloom found that adults and children's object naming was sensitive to how an object was created (man-made or not), but they did not reveal on which specific level of conceptual system this effect was. Using a free-naming task and a force-choice task, two experiments were conducted to test a hypothesis that this effect was specifically on domain level ("artifact/non-artifact" distinction). In Experiment 1, participants were asked to name shortly-depicted objects, rate their confidence, and report their reasons for each naming response. Results showed that most of the naming responses in "man-made" condition were in artifact domain, and most in "natural" condition were in non-artifact domain, although in both conditions names were very divergent on basic level. In Experiment 2, another group of participants were asked to choose one from two names (one in artifact domain and the other in non-artifact domain) to match the same shortly-depicted objects presented in the first experiment. Re-sults of Experiment 1 on domain level were replicated in Experiment 2. These convergent findings supported the hypothesis that the effect of object's origin is specifically on domain level of conceptual system of objects. Reasons explicitly reported for naming responses in Experiment 1 suggested that participants might automatically infer objects' functions in "man-made" condition but not in "natural" condition. Here the function-based hypothesis of artifacts classification is discussed.

COMBAT:A New Bitmap Index Coding Algorithm for Big Data

Bitmap indexing has been widely used in various applications due to its speed in bitwise operations. However, it can consume large amounts of memory. To solve this problem, various bitmap coding algorithms have been proposed. In this paper, we present COMbining Binary And Ternary encoding （COMBAT）, a new bitmap index coding algorithm. Typical algorithms derived from Word Aligned Hybrid （WAH） are COMPressed Adaptive indeX （COMPAX） and Compressed ＂n＂ Composable Integer Set （CONCISE）, which can combine either two or three continuous words after WAH encoding. COMBAT combines both mechanisms and results in more compact bitmap indexes. moreover, querying time of COMBAT can be faster than that of COMPAX and CONCISE, since bitmap indexes are smaller and it would take less time to load them into memory. To prove the advantages of COMBAT, we extend a theoretical analysis model proposed by our group, which is composed of the analysis of various possible bitmap indexes. Some experimental results based on real data are also provided, which show COMBAT＇s storage and speed superiority. Our results demonstrate the advantages of COMBAT and codeword statistics are provided to solidify the proof.
