As the cornerstone mission of the fourth phase of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program, Chang'E-7(CE-7) was officially approved, and implementation started in 2022, including a main probe and a communication relay satellite. The main probe, consisting of an orbiter, a lander, a rover and a mini-flying probe, is scheduled to be launched in 2026. The lander will land on Shackleton crater's illuminated rim near the lunar south pole, along with the rover and mini-flying probe. The relay satellite(named Queqiao-2) will be launched in February 2024 as an independent mission to support relay communication during scientific exploration undertaken by Chang'E-4, the upcoming Chang'E-6 in 2024 and subsequent lunar *** CE-7 mission is mainly aimed at scientific and resource exploration of the lunar south pole. We present CE-7's scientific objectives, the scientific payloads configuration and the main functions for each scientific payload with its key technical specifications.

The performance degradation and even damage of the e-textiles caused by sweat,water,or submersion during all-weather health monitoring are the main reasons that e-textiles have not been commercialized and routinized so ***,we developed an amphibious,high-performance,air-permeable,and comfortable all-textile triboelectric sensor for continuous and precise measurement of epidermal pulse waves during full-day *** on the principle of preparing gas by acid-base neutralization reaction,a one-piece preparation process of amphibious conductive yarn(ACY)with densely porous structures is *** innovative three-dimensional(3D)interlocking fabric knitted from ACYs(0.6 mm in diameter)and polytetrafluoroethylene yarns exhibit high sensitivity(0.433 V·kPa^(-1)),wide bandwidth(up to 10 Hz),and stability(>30,000 cycles).With these benefits,98.8%agreement was achieved between wrist pulse waves acquired by the sensor and a high-precision laser ***,the polytetrafluoroethylene yarn with good compression resilience provides sufficient mechanical support for the contact separation of the ***,the unique skeletonized design of the 3D interlocking structure can effectively relieve the water pressure on the sensor surface to obtain stable and accurate pulse waves(underwater depth of 5 cm).This achievement represents an important step in improving the practicality of e-textiles and early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.

Effect of Shortening Day Length on Immune Function in Siberian Hamsters

In order to understand the effect of gradual changes in photoperiod on immune function, adult female Siberian hamsters (Phodopus sungorus) were randomly divided into the control group (12L:12D, Con, n = 11) and the shortening day length group (SD, n = 11), in which day length was reduced from 12:12 h to 8:16 h light-dark cycle at the pace of half an hour every week. Meanwhile the winter immunoenhancement hypothesis, which holds that animals’ immune function would be enhanced in winter or winter-like conditions, was tested. Gradual shortening day length had no effect on body mass and body composition including wet carcass mass, the subcutaneous, retroperitoneal, mesenteric and total body fat masses in Siberian hamsters. The masses of liver and small intestine with contents were higher in the SD group than in the Con group, however other organ masses such as brain, heart, kidney and so on did not differ between the two groups. Phytohemagglutinin (PHA) response after 24 h of PHA injection was enhanced by the shortening photoperiod, which supported the winter immunoenhancement hypothesis. The masses of spleen and thymus, white blood cells, bacteria killing capacity indicative of innate immunity were not affected, which did not support this hypothesis. In summary, gradually decrease in day length increased cellular immunity, but had no effect on other immunological parameters in Siberian hamsters.

Peracetic acid(PAA),known for its environmentally friendly properties as a oxidant and bactericide,is gaining prominence in decontamination and disinfection *** primary product of PAA oxidation is acetate that can serve as an electron acceptor(EA)for the biosynthesis of medium-chain fatty acids(MCFAs)via chain elongation(CE)***,PAA-based pretreatment is supposed to be beneficial for MCFAs production from anaerobic sludge fermentation,as it could enhance organic matter availability,suppress competing microorganisms and furnish EA by providing ***,such a hypothesis has rarely been *** we reveal that PAA-based pretreatment leads to significant exfoliation of extracellular polymeric substances(EPS)from sludge flocs and disruption of proteinic secondary structures,through inducing highly active free radicals and singlet *** production of MCFAs increases substantially to 11,265.6 mg COD L^(-1),while the undesired byproducts,specifically long-chain alcohols(LCAs),decrease to 723.5 mg COD L^(-1).Microbial activity tests further demonstrate that PAA pretreatment stimulates the CE process,attributed to the up-regulation of functional genes involved in fatty acid biosynthesis *** comprehensive findings provide insights into the effectiveness and mechanisms behind enhanced MCFAs production through PAA-based technology,advancing our understanding of sustainable resource recovery from sewage sludge.

The endoplasmic reticulum(ER)and the plasma membrane(PM)form ER–PM contact sites(EPCSs)that allow the ER and PM to exchange materials and ***-induced disruption of protein folding triggers ER stress,and the cell initiates the unfolded protein response(UPR)to resist the ***,whether EPCSs play a role in ER stress in plants remains ***-ASSOCIATED MEMBRANE PROTEIN(VAMP)-ASSOCIATED PROTEIN 27-1(VAP27-1)functions in EPCS tethering and is encoded by a family of 10 genes(VAP27-1–10)in Arabidopsis ***,we used CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing to obtain a homozygous vap27-1 vap27-3 vap27-4(vap27-1/3/4)triple mutant lacking three of the key VAP27 family members in *** vap27-1/3/4 mutant exhibits defects in ER–PM connectivity and EPCS architecture,as well as excessive UPR *** further showed that relocation of VAP27-1 to the PM mediates specific VAP27-1-related EPCS remodeling and expansion under ER ***,the spatiotemporal dynamics of VAP27-1 at the PM increase ER–PM connectivity and enhance Arabidopsis resistance to ER *** addition,we revealed an important role for intracellular calcium homeostasis in the regulation of UPR *** together,these results broaden our understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms of ER stress and UPR signaling in plants,providing additional clues for improving plant broad-spectrum resistance to different stresses.

Macrocyclic trichothecenes from Myrothecium verrucaria PA 57 and their cytotoxic activity

Four novel macrocyclic trichothecenes,termed mytoxins D-G(1-4),along with four known analogs(5-8),were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of fermented rice inoculated with the fungus Myrothecium verrucaria *** compound features a tricyclic 12,13-epoxytrichothec-9-ene(EPT)***,mytoxin G(4)represents the first instance of a macrocyclic trichothecene incorporating a glucosyl unit within the trichothecene *** structures of the newly identified compounds were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analysis combined with quantum chemical *** isolated compounds demonstrated cytotoxic activity against the CAL27 and HCT116 cell lines,which are models for human oral squamous cell carcinoma and colorectal cancer,***,mytoxin D(1)and mytoxin F(3)exhibited pronounced cytotoxic effects against both cancer cell lines,with IC_(50)values ranging from 3 to 6 nmol·L^(-1).Moreover,compounds 1 and 3 were found to induce apoptosis in HCT116 cells by activating caspase-3.

复式钢管混凝土柱-钢梁半穿心节点拉拔性能试验研究

对3种复式钢管混凝土柱-钢梁半穿心节点试件(腹板半穿心节点试件AJ1、腹板-翼缘半穿心试件AJ2和腹板-横隔板半穿心节点试件AJ3)进行了拉拔试验,探讨了节点的破坏形态和拉拔性能。结果表明试件AJ2、AJ3的承载力比试件AJ1分别提高了14.2%和13%,表明内外钢管间设置横向水平半穿心构件有利于改善节点抗拉传力机制并可明显提高其抗拉承载力。为进一步研究半穿心构件对节点拉拔性能的影响,进行了纯钢梁翼缘节点试件AJ1-R、AJ2-R、AJ3-R的拉拔试验。结果表明,3种半穿心节点试件AJ1、AJ2、AJ3的极限荷载较纯翼缘节点试件AJ1-R、AJ2-R、AJ3-R分别提高了60.1%、22.7%、73.8%,初始刚度提高约2倍;半穿心腹板为主要传力构件,保证了节点具有较强的承载能力和抗拉刚度;半穿心翼缘能直接传递梁柱之间拉力,而半穿心横隔板有利于发挥斜向腋板传递拉力的作用,达到与半穿心翼缘相当的承载能力,且能较好地保证核心区混凝土的密实性和节点变形性能。
