The in-plane anisotropy of transition metal trichalcogenides(MX_(3))has a significant impact on the molding of materi-als and MX_(3) is a perfect choice for polarized *** this study,the crystal structure,optical and optoelectronic aniso-tropy of one kind of quasi-one-dimensional(1D)semiconductors,ZrSe_(3),are systematically investigated through experiments and theoretical *** ZrSe_(3)-based photodetector shows impressive wide spectral response from ultraviolet(UV)to near in-frared(NIR)and exhibits great optoelectrical properties with photoresponsivity of 11.9 mA·W^(-1) and detectivity of~106 at 532 ***,the dichroic ratio of ZrSe_(3)-based polarized photodetector is around 1.1 at 808 *** study suggests that ZrSe_(3) has potential in optoelectronic applications and polarization detectors.

Enhancement of oligodendrocyte autophagy alleviates white matter injury and cognitive impairment induced by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion in rats

Cognitive impairment caused by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion(CCH)is associated with white matter injury(WMI),possibly through the alteration of ***,the autophagy—lysosomal pathway(ALP)dysfunction in white matter(WM)and its relationship with cognitive impairment were investigated in rats subjected to two vessel occlusion(2VO).The results showed that cognitive impairment occurred by the 28th day after *** and autophagy activation of mature oligodendrocytes and neuronal axons sequentially occurred in WM by the 3rd *** the 14th day,abnormal accumulation of autophagy substrate,lysosomal dysfunction,and the activation of mechanistic target of rapamycin(MTOR)pathway were observed in WM,paralleled with mature oligodendrocyte *** indicates autophagy activation was followed by ALP dysfunction caused by autophagy inhibition or lysosomal *** target the ALP dysfunction,enhanced autophagy by systemic rapamycin treatment or overexpression of Beclin1(BECN1)in oligodendrocytes reduced mature oligodendrocyte death,and subsequently alleviated the WMI and cognitive impairment after *** results reveal that early autophagy activation was followed by ALP dysfunction in WM after 2VO,which was associated with the aggravation of WMI and cognitive *** study highlights that alleviating ALP dysfunction by enhancing oligodendrocyte autophagy has benefits for cognitive recovery after CCH.

Recent studies have suggested that abnormal acidification of lysosomes induces autophagic accumulation of amyloid-βin neurons,which is a key step in senile plaque ***,resto ring normal lysosomal function and rebalancing lysosomal acidification in neurons in the brain may be a new treatment strategy for Alzheimer's *** acetylation/deacetylation plays a central role in lysosomal ***,we show that inhibiting the classic microtubule deacetylase histone deacetylase 6 with an histone deacetylase 6 shRNA or thehistone deacetylase 6 inhibitor valproic acid promoted lysosomal reacidification by modulating V-ATPase assembly in Alzheimer's *** rthermore,we found that treatment with valproic acid markedly enhanced *** clearance of amyloid-βaggregates,and ameliorated cognitive deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimer's *** findings demonstrate a previously unknown neuroprotective mechanism in Alzheimer's disease,in which histone deacetylase 6 inhibition by valproic acid increases V-ATPase assembly and lysosomal acidification.

Torque-Limited Attitude Control for Rigid Spacecraft with Motion Constraints

A saturated controller is developed for the final phase of rendezvous and proximity operations in the presence of disturbances, parametric uncertainties and loss of control effectiveness. To achieve this, an integrated auxiliary filter structure is first established using hyperbolic functions that work in tandem with filtered tracking error. Then a robust saturated controller for nominal system is proposed. Furthermore, saturated fault-tolerant controller based on the nominal control law and sliding-mode-like method is derived. The bound on the proposed controller can be adjusted by changing the feedback gains. A Lyapunov-based stability analysis is provided to prove uniformly ultimate bounded（UUB） tracking despite uncertainties, disturbances and even actuator faults in the six-degree-freedom dynamics. A numerical simulation is presented to demonstrate the performance of the controller.

A continuous saturated attitude control scheme is proposed that meets the control object of reorientation and attitude forbidden zone avoidance. Constructed from the classical potential-function-based control methodology, the derived controller can achieve uniformly ultimate boundedness without the obstruction of local minima or saddle points of the potential ***, the properties of derived potential are analyzed meticulously. Moreover, an explicit controllable domain is integrated into certain inequalities featuring initial states and control parameters to describe the capability of avoidance. The control performance can be also estimated and adjusted by tuning control parameters. A Lyapunov-based analysis is provided to show the convergence of the potential function, the gradient of the potential function and the closed-loop system. Furthermore, simulations are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness and features of the control law.

Zero-index metamaterials(ZIMs)feature a uniform electromagnetic mode over a large area in arbitrary shapes,enabling many applications including high-transmission supercouplers with arbitrary shapes,directionindependent phase matching for nonlinear optics,and collective emission of many quantum ***,most ZIMs reported to date are passive;active ZIMs that allow for dynamic modulation of their electromagnetic properties have rarely been ***,we design and fabricate a magnetically tunable ZIM consisting of yttrium iron garnet(YIG)pillars sandwiched between two copper clad laminates in the microwave *** harnessing the Cotton–Mouton effect of YIG,the metamaterial was successfully toggled between gapless and bandgap states,leading to a“phase transition”between a zero-index phase and a single negative phase of the *** an S-shaped ZIM supercoupler,we experimentally demonstrated a tunable supercoupling state with a low intrinsic loss of 0.95 d B and a high extinction ratio of up to 30.63 d B at 9 *** have also engineered a transition between the supercoupling state and the topological one-way transmission state at10.6 *** work enables dynamic modulation of the electromagnetic characteristics of ZIMs,enabling various applications in tunable linear,nonlinear,quantum,and nonreciprocal electromagnetic devices.
