It is a great challenge to modulate purely organic fluorescence-phosphorescence dual emission in aqueous solution because the excited singlet and triplet states are in competition with each other. herein, we report a crystalline 1:2 host-guest formed by selfassembly of 4-(4-bromophenyl)-pyridinium derivatives and cucurbit[8]uril, in which a rigid environment rich in weak interactions is directly demonstrated. Due to the inhibition of non-radiative transition and stabilization of triplet exciton in the crystalline environment, the crystalline inclusion complex exhibits ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence lifetime of 3.21 ms with an room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP) quantum yield up to 16.29%. Interestingly, the crystalline 1:2 hostguest complex demonstrates the ability of rapid identification and sensitive fluorescence-phosphorescence ratiometric detection behavior toward phenethylamine, a drug analogue, with a limit of detection as low as 27.5 nM. We believe that this study will undoubtedly broaden the utilizing scopes of RTP and offer a novel avenue for psychoactive substances monitoring.

Five characteristics(hair forms,nasal profile,nostril forms,mongoloid fold and upper eyelid fold)were respectively investigated in six nationalities,including the Buyi,Miao,Shui,Maonan,Dong,and Han nationalities in Southern Guizhou,*** gene frequencies of five characteristics in the six nationalities were estimated and *** results indicated that:(1)for hair forms and nasal profile,the frequency of the dominant gene was lower than that of their recessive gene,but the opposite was true for nostril forms.(2)Among different nationalities,the difference of gene frequency of the mongoloid fold,nasal profile,hair forms and upper eyelid fold was quite significant,which was followed by that of nostril forms.

Certain amino acids changes in the human Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase pump,ATPase Na^(+)/K^(+)transporting subunit alpha 1(ATP1A1),cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2(CMT2)disease and refractory *** develop in vivo models to study the role of Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase in these diseases,we modified the Drosophila gene homolog,Atpα,to mimic the human ATP1A1 gene mutations that cause *** located within the helical linker region of human ATP1A1(I592T,A597T,P600T,and D601F)were simultaneously introduced into endogenous Drosophila Atpαby CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing,generating the Atpα^(TTTF)*** addition,the same strategy was used to generate the corresponding single point mutations in flies(Atpα^(I571T),Atpα^(A576T),Atpα^(P579T),and Atpα^(D580F)).Moreover,a deletion mutation(Atpα^(mut))that causes premature termination of translation was generated as a positive *** these alleles,we found two that could be maintained as homozygotes(Atpα^(I571T)and Atpα^(P579T)).Three alleles(Atpα^(A576T),Atpα^(P579)and Atpα^(D580F))can form heterozygotes with the Atpαmut *** found that the Atpαallele carrying these CMT2-associated mutations showed differential phenotypes in *** heterozygous for Atpα^(TTTF)mutations have motor performance defects,a reduced lifespan,seizures,and an abnormal neuronal *** Drosophila models will provide a new platform for studying the function and regulation of the sodium-potassium pump.

A numerical method, the so-called multiple monopole（MMoP） method,based on the generalized multipole technique（GMT） is proposed to calculate the band structures of in-plane waves in two-dimensional phononic crystals, which are composed of arbitrarily shaped cylinders embedded in a solid host medium. To find the eigenvalues（eigenfrequencies） of the problem, besides the sources used to expand the wave fields, an extra monopole source is introduced which acts as the external excitation. By varying the excitation frequency, the eigenvalues can be localized as the extreme points of an appropriately chosen function. By sweeping the frequency range of interest and the boundary of the irreducible first Brillouin zone（FBZ）, the band structures can be obtained. Some typical numerical examples with different acoustic impedance ratios and with inclusions of various shapes are presented to validate the proposed method.

Wavelet-based method for computing elastic band gaps of one-dimensional phononic crystals

A wavelet-based method was developed to compute elastic band gaps of one-dimensional phononic crystals. The wave field was expanded in the wavelet basis and an equivalent eigenvalue problem was derived in a matrix form involving the adaptive computation of integrals of the wavelets. The method was then applied to a binary system. For comparison, the elastic band gaps of the same one-dimensional phononic crystals computed with the wavelet method and the well- known plane wave expansion (PWE) method are both presented in this paper. The numerical results of the two methods are in good agreement while the computation costs of the wavelet method are much lower than that of PWE method. In addition, the adaptability of wavelets makes the method possible for efficient band gap computation of more complex phononic structures.

Lowering the synthesis temperature of boron nitride nanotubes(BNNTs)is crucial for their *** primary reason for adopting a high temperature is to enable the effective activation of highmelting-point solid *** this study,we developed a novel approach for efficiently activating boron by introducing alkali metal compounds into the conventional MgO–B *** approach can be adopted to form various low-melting-point AM–Mg–B–O growth *** growth systems have improved catalytic capability and reactivity even under low-temperature conditions,facilitating the synthesis of BNNTs at temperatures as low as 850℃.In addition,molecular dynamics simulations based on density functional theory theoretically demonstrate that the systems maintain a liquid state at low temperatures and interact with N atoms to form BN *** findings offer novel insights into the design of boron activation and are expected to facilitate research on the low-temperature synthesis of BNNTs.
