Data from the two-spacecraft Acceleration,Reconnection,Turbulence and Electrodynamics of the Moon’s Interaction with the Sun mission to the IVloon have been exploited to characterize the lunar wake with unprecedented *** differences between measurements made by a spacecraft in the solar wind very near the IVloon and concurrent measurements made by a second spacecraft in the near lunar wake are small but *** enabled us to establish the perturbations of plasma density,temperature,thermal,magnetic and total pressure,field,and flow downstream of the IVloon to distances of 12 lunar radii(R).The wake disturbances are initiated immediately behind the IVloon by the diamagnetic currents at the lunar *** waves propagate outward at fast MhD wave *** .5 R’,all plasma and field parameters are poorly structured which suggests the presence of instabilities excited by counter-streaming *** flowing plasma accelerated through pressure gradient force and ambipolar electric field compresses the magnetic field and leads to continuous increase in magnitude of magnetic *** the downstream distance,the field perturbation magnitude is also a function of the solar wind ion beta and the angle between the solar wind and the interplanetary magnetic field(IMF).Both ion and electron temperatures increase as a consequence of an energy dispersion effect,whose explanation requires fully kinetic *** of the Moon,the IMF field lines are observed to bulge toward the Moon,which is unexpected and may be caused by a plasma pressure gradient force or/and the pickup of heavy charged dust grains behind the Moon.

The oxidation pathway and kinetics of titania slag powders in air were analyzed using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and thermogravimetry(TG).The oxidation pathway of titania slag powder in air was divided into three stages according to their three exothermic peaks and three corresponding mass gain stages indicated by the respective non-isothermal DSC and TG *** isothermal oxidation kinetics of high titania slag powders of different sizes were analyzed using the ln-ln analysis *** results revealed that the entire isothermal oxidation process comprises two *** kinetic mechanism of the first stage can be described as f(α) = 1.77(1-α) [-ln (1-α)]^((1.77-1)/1.77),f(α)= 1.97(1-α) [-ln (1-α)]^((1.97-1)/1.97),and f (α) = 1.18(1-α) [-ln (1-α)]^((1.18-1)/1.18).The kinetic mechanism of the second stage for all samples can be described as f (α)=1.5(1-α)^(2/3)[1-(1-α)^(1/3)]^(-1).The activation energies of titania slag powders with different sizes(d_(1)he given experimental conditions,the rate-controlling step in the first oxidation stage of all the samples is a chemical *** rate-controlling steps of the second oxidation stage are a chemical reaction and internal diffusion(for powders d_(1)l diffusion(for powders 0.125 mm

In a time characterized by the availability of vast amounts of data,the effective utilization of information is critical for timely decision-making in military ***,processing large amounts of data requires computational resources and ***,decision makers have used data-centric technologies to take advantage of public and private data sources to support military *** survey explores the integration and application of data-centric technologies,such as data analytics,data science,and machine learning,to optimize decision-making workflows within military contexts supporting the deployment of military assets and *** address the information gap,this article presents a literature review,specifically a *** survey examines the use of the mentioned technologies to process and analyze information that contributes to the phases of situational awareness,and planning in military *** then introduce a taxonomy of the approaches associated with implementing these technologies in military ***,we discuss relevant factors for the seamless integration of data-centric technologies into military decision-making processes,and reveal the importance of specialized personnel,architectures,and cybersecurity issues in the task of developing prototypes and *** findings of this paper aim to provide valuable insights for military institutions,offering a deeper understanding of the use of data-centric technologies as innovative practices to enhance the effectiveness of military decision-making.

Natural gas hydrates are solid compounds with cage-like structures formed by gas and *** intriguing phenomenon that gas hydrates can dissociate at a low rate below the ice freezing point has been viewed as the metastability of *** mechanisms of hydrate metastability have been widely studied,and many mechanisms were proposed involving the self-preservation effect,supercooled water-gas-hydrate metastable equilibrium,and supersaturated liquid-gas-hydrate system *** metastable state of hydrate could be of crucial significance in the kinetics of hydrate formation and decomposition,heat and mass transfer during gas production processes,and the application of hydrate-based technique involving desalination,energy storage and transportation,and gas separation and *** researches have systematically considered this phenomenon,and its mechanism remains *** this work,various mechanisms and hypothesis explaining the metastable state of gas hydrates were introduced and *** studies are still required to reveal the intrinsic nature of this metastable state of gas hydrate,and this work could give some implications on the existing theory and current status of relevant efforts.

The deployment of hydrogen as an energy carrier is found to be a vital alternative fuel for the future. It is expected that water electrolysis, powered by renewable energy sources, be able to scale-up hydrogen production. however, the reaction kinetic of oxygen evolution reaction(OER) is a sluggish process, which predominantly limits the efficiency of water electrolysis. This review recapitulates the recent progress and efforts made in the design and development of two selected earth-abundant bimetallic electrocatalysts(Ni Co and Co Fe) for alkaline OER. Each bimetal electrocatalyst is thoroughly outlined and discussed in five sub-sections, including bimetal(oxy) hydroxides, layered double hydroxides(lDhs) structures,oxides, composites, alloy and nanostructured electrocatalysts, and assembled with ***, a brief introduction to an in situ/operando characterization techniques and advantages for monitoring the structure of the electrocatalysts is provided. Finally, a summary outlining the challenges and conceivable approaches to advance OER performance is highlighted and discussed.

Background The pulsed introduction of dead plant and animal material into soils represents one of the primary mechanisms for returning organic carbon(C)and nitrogen(N)compounds to biogeochemical *** of animal carcasses provides a high C and N resource that stimulates indigenous environmental microbial communities and introduces non-indigenous,carcass-derived microbes to the ***,the dynamics of the coalesced microbial communities,and the relative contributions of environment-and carcass-derived microbes to C and N cycling are *** test whether environment-derived,carcass-derived,or the combined microbial communities exhibited a greater influence on C and N cycling,we conducted controlled laboratory experiments that combined carcass decomposition fluids and soils to simulate carcass decomposition *** selectively sterilized the decomposition fluid and/or soil to remove microbial communities and create different combinations of environment-and carcass-derived communities and incubated the treatments under three temperatures(10,20,and 30℃).Results Carcass-derived bacteria persisted in soils in our simulated decomposition scenarios,albeit at low *** communities had higher respiration rates at 10 and 30℃ compared to soil or carcass communities ***,at higher temperatures,mixed communities had reduced diversity,but higher respiration,suggesting functional *** communities treatments also provided evidence that carcass-associated microbes may be contributing to ammonification and denitrification,but that nitrification is still primarily carried out by native soil *** Our work yields insight into the dynamics of microbial communities that are coalescing during carcass decomposition,and how they contribute to recycling carcasses in terrestrial ecosystems.
