Spatially resolved transcriptomics(SRT)is capable of comprehensively characterizing gene expression patterns and providing an unbiased image of spatial *** fully understand the organizational complexity and tumor immune escape mechanism,we propose stMGATF,a multiview graph attention fusion model that integrates gene expression,histological images,spatial location,and gene *** better extract information,stMGATF exploits SimCLRv2 for visual feature exaction and employs edge feature enhanced graph attention networks for the learning potential embedding of each view.A global attention mechanism is used to adaptively integrate 3 views to obtain low-dimensional *** to diverse SRT datasets,stMGATF is robust and outperforms other methods in detecting spatial domains and denoising data even with different resolutions and *** particular,stMGATF contributes to the elucidation of tissue heterogeneity and extraction of 3-dimensional expression ***,considering the associations between genes in tumors,stMGATF can identify the spatial dark genes ignored by traditional methods,which can be used to predict tumor-driving transcription factors and reveal tumor immune escape mechanisms,providing theoretical evidence for the development of new immunotherapeutic strategies.

A novel family of diarylethene (DTE)-phthalocyanine (Pc) dyad systems were designed and synthesized. It was found that the significant change in the extension of the linear π-conjugation of DTE when irradiated by 254 nm UV light directly made the absorption of the Q-band of phthalocyanine decrease. Detecting the absorption changes of the Q-band would not induce the reversible photochromic reaction. Therefore, non-destructive readout was feasible based on the spectral changes of the Q-band when such materials were used as storage media.

Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)is a classic matrix model for solid polymer electrolyte which can not only dissociate lithium-ions(Li^(+)),but also can conduct Li^(+) through segmental motion in ***,the crystal aggregation state of PEO restricts the conduction of Li^(+) especially at room *** this work,an amorphous polymer electrolyte with ethylene oxide(EO)and propylene oxide(PO)block structure(B-PEG@DMC)synthesized by the transesterification is firstly obtained,showing an ionic conductivity value of 1.1×10^(5) S/cm at room temperature(25℃).According to the molecular dynamics(MD)simulation,the PO segments would lead to an inconsecutive and hampered conduction of Li^(+),which is not beneficial to the short range conduction of Li^(+).Thus the effect of transformation of aggregation state on the improveme nt of ionic conductivity is not eno ugh,it is n ecessary to further consider the differe nt coupled behaviours of EO and PO segments with Li^(+).In this way,we blend this amorphous polymer(B-PEG@DMC)with PEO to obtain a dual range ionic conductive solid polymer electrolyte(D-SPE)with further improved ionic conductivity promoted by constructing a dual range fast ionic conduction,which eventually shows a further improved ionic conductivity value of 2.3×10^(5) S/cm at room temperature.

Photo-driven molecular switch based on the photochromism and solvatochromism of diarylethene dialdehyde

The two distinct characters of diarylethene dialdehyde derivative-photochromism and solvatochrom- ism are displayed in particular circumstances. The fluorescence of phosphorus (III) tetrabenzotri- azacorrole can be reversibly regulated by the three kinds of status of the diarylethene dialdehyde, col- orless ring-opened form, red ring-closed form, and blue ring-closed form, which is gated by visible light, ultraviolet light and ethanol individually or jointly. Based on this effect, a novel molecular INH logic switch is proposed.

Development of fuelling protocols for gaseous hydrogen vehicles:a key component for efficient and safe hydrogen mobility infrastructures

Large-scale applications of fuel-cell vehicles(FCVs)are of vital importance to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases in the transportation sector,especially in the heavy-duty and long-distance *** fuelling for the on-board gaseous hydrogen cylinders of an FCV is essential to achieve a fuelling experience that is comparable to that of traditional fossil-fuel-powered ***,the heating effect during refuelling leads to potential safety issues when the hydrogen temperature in the cylinder exceeds 85℃.Therefore,fuelling protocols are critical to ensure the efficiency and safety of the hydrogen mobility *** this paper,the fuelling protocols for FCV vans and buses with type III cylinders were developed and the pre-cooling temperatures were optimized to minimize the energy *** performance was demonstrated with a 35-MPa hydrogen fuelling *** found that FCV vans and buses can be safely refuelled in 3 or 5 minutes at a minimum,respectively,demonstrating a fuelling experience that is similar to that of traditional vehicles.

Effect of doped strontium on catalytic properties of La_(1-x)SrxMnO_(3) for rhodamine B degradation

A series of La_(1-x)Sr_(x)MnO_(3) samples were prepared by sol-gel method and used to degrade rhodamine B(RhB) in *** samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),N_(2) adsorption-desorption,temperature-programmed reduction of H_(2)(H_(2)-TPR) and temperature-programmed desorption of O_(2)(O_(2)-TPD).The results show that the degradation of RhB is highly dependent on the initial pH value of *** doping enhances the degradation ability of LaMnO_(3) for RhB in the time range of 0-40 min under a strong acidic environment,but all samples exhibit similar degradation rate from 40 to 60 *** La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3)-RhB reaction system,there are two different degradation pathways,including N-de-ethylation,chromophore cleavage,ring-opening and ***_(1-x)Sr_(x)MnO_(3)(x ≤0.3) has the perovskite structure of La-Mn oxides,while La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)MnO_(3) exhibits a Sr_(0.4)MnLa_(0.6)O_(2).98 perovskite *** doping leads to distortion of rhombohedral crystal structure and increases the relative content of Mn^(4+).The perovskite structure is stable in strong acidic environment during RhB degradation,but the relative content of Mn^(4+)and Mn^(3+) on the material surface *** doped LaMnO_(3) achieves specific surface area of 58.8 m^(2)/g and total pore volume of 0.152 cm^(3)/***,Sr^(2+)doping improves redox properties of La-Mn oxides,and the presence of defects makes oxygen diffusion easier compared with the undoped samples.

The dry-cured hams are produced by a long-term fermentation along with amounts of bioactive peptides are ***,the bioactive peptides in ham have been reported with antioxidant,antihypertensive,and anti-inflammatory ***,the Xuanwei ham peptides(XP)were evaluated in dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced C57BL/6 mice trial to investigate their effects on inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)*** result,the IBD symptoms of colon shorten,tissue damage,and colonic tissue inflammation were all ameliorated in the supplement of *** inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α,IL-6,MCP-1)in the colon were also suppressed by XP intervention compared to DSS-induced *** addition,the intake of XP was checked to modulate the gut microbiota structure,including increasing the relative abundances of Akkermansia,Parasutterella,Dorea,and decreasing the relative abundances of Saccharibacteria,Olsenella,***,the results implied that XP could attenuate the DSS-induced colitis symptoms by regulating the secretion of inflammatory cytokines as well as regulating the gut microbiota.

AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)is a conserved energy sensor that plays roles in diverse biological processes via phosphorylating various *** studies have demonstrated the regulatory roles of AMPK in DNA repair,but the underlying mechanisms remain to be fully ***,using mass spectrometry-based proteomic technologies,we systematically investigate the regulatory network of AMPK in DNA damage response(DDR).Our system-wide phosphoproteome study uncovers a variety of newly-identified potential substrates involved in diverse biological processes,whereas our system-wide histone modification analysis reveals a link between AMPK and histone *** with these findings,we discover that AMPK promotes apoptosis by phosphorylating apoptosis-stimulating of p53 protein 2(ASPP2)in an irradiation(IR)-dependent manner and regulates histone acetylation by phosphorylating histone deacetylase 9(HDAC9)in an IR-independent ***,we reveal that disrupting the histone acetylation by the bromodomain BRD4 inhibitor JQ-1 enhances the sensitivity of AMPKdeficient cells to ***,our study has provided a resource to investigate the interplay between phosphorylation and histone acetylation underlying the regulatory network of AMPK,which could be beneficial to understand the exact role of AMPK in DDR.

Neutrophil-mimicking therapeutic nanoparticles for targeted chemotherapy of pancreatic carcinoma

Due to the critical correlation between inflammation and carcinogenesis, a therapeutic candidate with anti-inflammatory activity may find application in cancer therapy. Here, we report the therapeutic efficacy of celastrol as a promising candidate compound for treatment of pancreatic carcinoma via na?ve neutrophil membrane-coated poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether-block-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PEG-PLGA) nanoparticles. Neutrophil membranecoated nanoparticles(NNPs) are well demonstrated to overcome the blood pancreas barrier to achieve pancreas-specific drug delivery in vivo. Using tumor-bearing mice xenograft model, NNPs showed selective accumulations at the tumor site following systemic administration as compared to nanoparticles without neutrophil membrane coating. In both orthotopic and ectopic tumor models,celastrol-loaded NNPs demonstrated greatly enhanced tumor inhibition which significantly prolonged the survival of tumor bearing mice and minimizing liver metastases. Overall, these results suggest that celastrol-loaded NNPs represent a viable and effective treatment option for pancreatic carcinoma.

TGF-β may be complimentary to PSA in Chinese prostate cancer

Objective： To investigate the value of the plasma transforming growth factor β1 （TGF-β1） level in diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer （PCa）. Methods： The ELISA kits for human TGF-β1 were used to measure the TGF-β1 level in plasmas. A cohort of 295 consecutive PCa patients in recent more than two years in the First Hospital of Peking University of China was enrolled to the study. Furthermore, 55 control subjects were healthy and without evidence of PCa, who were random people that came to the hospital and were identified by prostate biopsy. Results： An age-related frequency chart indicated that 99% confidence interval of the difference with PCa was at the age of 53-85 years. The PCa patients aged 53-85 were classified into three groups according to TNM staging. Group A had Stages TO, T1 and T2. Group B had Stage T3 and Group C had Stage T4. Compared with control group, Group A had the lower level of plasma TGF-β1 （P 〈 0.05）, Group B had the higher level of plasma TGF-β1 （P 〈 0.05） and Group C had the even higher level of plasma TGF-β1 （P 〈 0.01）. According to TNM staging, Group D had Stages TO, T1 and T2 with the normal level of total PSA （tPSA）. Group E with the normal level of tPSA had metastasis after resection. Compared with control group, Group D had the lower plasma level of TGF-β1 （P 〈0.05） and Group E had higher plasma level of TGF-β1 （P 〈 0.01）. Conclusion： The plasma TGF-β1 level decreases at early stage of PCa and increases at later stage of PCa, especially at tumor metastasis after the resection. The plasma TGF-β1 level may therefore be complementary to PSA for PCa prognosis.
