Analysis of vascular thrombus and clinicopathological factors in prognosis of gastric cancer:A retrospective cohort study

The Shanghai laser Electron Gamma Source(SlEGS, located in Bl03SSID) beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF) is a laser Compton Scattering(lCS) gamma source used for the investigation of nuclear structure, which is in extensive demand in fields such as nuclear astrophysics, nuclear cluster structure, polarization physics, and nuclear energy. The beamline is based on the inverse Compton scattering of 10640 nm photons on 3.5 GeV electrons and a gamma source with variable energy by changing the scattering angle from 20° to 160°. γ rays of 0.25-21.1 MeV can be extracted by the scheme consisting of the interaction chamber, coarse collimator, fine collimator, and attenuator. The maximum photon flux for 180° is approximately 10~7 photons/s at the target at 21.7 MeV, with a 3-mm-diameter beam. The beamline was equipped with four types of spectrometers for experiments in( γ,γ'),( γ,n),( γ,p), and( γ,α). At present, Nuclear Resonance Fluorescence(NRF) spectrometry, Flat-Efficiency neutron Detector(FED) spectrometry, neutron Time-Of-Flight(TOF) spectrometry, and light-Charged Particle(lCP) spectrometry methods have been developed.

Although various routes have been reported for haloazidation,unavoidable problems exist,such as environmentally unfriendly monomer halogen,the need for in situ generation of unstable halogen azides(XN3),applicability to one type of haloazidation and inability to precisely control ***,we developed a universal strategy for haloazidation of alkenes through controll.ng the reactivity of IBA-N_(3) by switching halogen salts,allowing for the synthesis of a diversity of halogen azide *** studies have shown that by tuning the reactivity of IBA-N_(3) via switching halogen salts,different intermediates can be controllably produced to achieve regioselectivityand chemoselectivity in thehaloazidationof alkenes.

The resin of Ferula sinkiangensis has been traditionally utilized for treating gastrointestinal disorders,inflammation,tumors,various cancers,and alopecia *** primary bioactive constituents,sesquiterpene coumarins,have demonstrated notable therapeutic potential against *** this study,a structure-guided fractionation method was used to isolate nine novel sesquiterpene coumarins from the resin of *** compounds were characterized and structurally elucidated using comprehensive physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques,including calculated electronic circular dichroism(ECD).Anti-neuroinflammatory assays revealed that compounds 2,3,and 6 significantly inhibited nitric oxide(NO)production in lipopolysaccharide(lPS)-stimulated BV2 microglial cells,with IC_(50)values ranging from 1.63 to 12.25μmol·l^(−1).

Torque effect on vibration behavior of high-speed train gearbox under internal and external excitations

BACKGROUND Surgical resection and liver transplantation(lT)are the most effective curative options for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,few patients with huge HCC(>10 cm in diameter),especially those with portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT),can receive these *** internal radiation therapy(SIRT)can be used as a conversion therapy for them because it has the dual benefit of shrinking tumors and increasing residual hepatic ***,in patients with huge HCC,high l.ng absorbed dose often prevents them from receiving *** SUMMARY A 35-year-old man was admitted because of emaciation and pain in the hepatic region for about 1 *** computed tomography scan showed a 20.2 cm×19.8 cm tumor located in the right lobe–left medial lobes with right portal vein and right hepatic vein *** the pathological type of HCC was confirmed by biopsy,two conversions were *** first one was drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolization plus hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy and lenvatinib and sintilimab,converted to SIRT,and the second one was sequential SIRT with continued systemic *** tumor size significantly decreased from 20.2 cm×19.8 cm to 16.2 cm×13.8 cm,then sequentially to 7.8 cm×6.8 *** the meantime,the ratio of spared volume to total liver volume increased gradually from 34.4%to 55.7%,then to 62.9%.Furthermore,there was visualization of the portal vein,indicating regression of the tumor ***,owing to the new tumor in the left lateral lobe,the patient underwent lT instead of resection without major *** Patients with inoperable huge HCC with PVTT could be converted to SIRT first and accept surgery sequentially.

Towards the performance limit of catenary meta-optics via field-driven optimization

Catenary optics enables metasurfaces with higher efficiency and wider bandwidth,and is highly anticipated in the imaging system,super-resolution lithography,and broadband ***,the periodic boundary approximation without considering aperiodic electromagnetic crosstalk poses chall.nges for catenary optical devices to reach their performance ***,perfect control of both local geometric and propagation phases is realized through field-driven optimization,in which the field distribution is calculated under real boundary *** from other optimization methods requiring a mass of iterations,the proposed design method requires less than ten iterations to get the efficiency close to the optimal *** on the library of shape-optimized catenary structures,centimeter-scale devices can be designed in ten seconds,with the performance improved by ~15%.Furthermore,this method has the ability to extend catenary-like continuous structures to arbitrary polarization,including both linear and elliptical polarizations,which is difficult to achieve with traditional design *** provides a way for the development of catenary optics and serves as a potent tool for constructing high-performance optical devices.
