There is a perpetual.pursuit for free-form gl.sses and ceramics featuring outstanding mechanical.properties as wel. as chemical.and thermal.*** is a promising idea to shape inorganic material. in three-dimensional.3D)forms to reduce their weight whil. maintaining high mechanical.properties.A popul.r strategy for the preparation of 3D inorganic material. is to mol. the organic–inorganic hybrid photoresists into 3D micro-and nano-structures and remove the organic components by subsequent ***,due to the discrete arrangement of inorganic components in the organic-inorganic hybrid photoresists,it remains a huge chal.enge to attain isotropic shrinkage during ***,we demonstrate the isotropic sintering shrinkage by forming the consecutive–Si–O–Si–O–Zr–O–inorganic backbone in photoresists and fabricating 3D gl.ss–ceramic nanol.ttices with enhanced mechanical.*** femtosecond(fs)l.ser is used in two-photon pol.merization(TPP)to fabricate 3D green body *** subsequent sintering at 1000℃,high-qual.ty 3D gl.ss–ceramic microstructures can be obtained with perfectl. intact and smooth ***-suit compression experiments and finite-el.ment simul.tions reveal.that octahedral.truss(oct-truss)l.ttices possess remarkabl. adeptness in bearing stress concentration and maintain the structural.integrity to resist rod bending,indicating that this structure is a candidate for preparing l.ghtweight and high stiffness gl.ss–ceramic nanol.ttices.3D printing of such gl.sses and ceramics has significant impl.cations in a number of industrial.appl.cations,incl.ding metamaterial.,microel.ctromechanical.systems,photonic crystal.,and damage-tol.rant l.ghtweight material..

Effect of temperature on suspension magnetization roasting of hematite using biomass waste as reductant:A perspective of gas evol.tion

The magnetization reduction of hematite using biomass waste can effectivel. util.ze waste and reduce CO_(2) emission to achieve the goal. of carbon peaking and carbon *** effects of temperatures on suspension magnetization roasting of hematite using biomass waste for evol.ed gases have been investigated using TG-FTIR,Py-GC/MS and gas composition *** mixture reduction process is divided into four *** the temperature range of 200-450℃ for mixture,the rel.ase of CO_(2),acids,and ketones is dominated in gases *** yiel. and concentration of smal. mol.cul.s reducing gases increase when the temperature increases from 450 to 900℃.At 700℃,the vol.me concentrations of CO,H_(2) and CH_(4) peak at 8.91%,8.90% and 4.91%,*** the suspension magnetization roasting process,an optimal.iron concentrate with an iron grade of 70.86%,a recovery of 98.66% and a magnetic conversion of 45.70% is obtained at 700℃.Therefore,the magnetization reduction coul. react greatl. in the temperature range of 600 to 700℃ owing to the suitabl. reducing *** study shows a detail.gaseous evol.tion of roasting temperature and provides a new insight for studying the reduction process of hematite using biomass waste.

The efficient copol.merization of ol.fin with pol.r monomers using nickel.based catal.sts presents a l.ngstanding chal.enge. In this contribution, three phosphine-benzocycl.ne l.gands and corresponding neutral.nickel.catal.sts(Ni1: Ar = Ph;Ni2: Ar = 2-(C_(6)H_(5))C_(6)H_(4);Ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(Me O)_(2)-C_(6)H3]C_(6)H_(4)) were prepared and appl.ed for the ethyl.ne pol.merization and copol.merization with pol.r monomers without any cocatal.st. The bul.y substituent groups in compl.xes Ni2 and Ni3 contributed to high catal.tic activities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol.Ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respectivel.), and produced high-mol.cul.r-weight pol.ethyl.ne(Mw up to 545.7 k Da). Compl.x Ni3 exhibited high activities for ethyl.ne pol.merization at the l.vel.of 10^(6) g·mol.Ni^(-1)·h^(-1) across a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting excel.ent high temperature tol.rance. These nickel.compl.xes were al.o effectivel. empl.yed in the copol.merization of ethyl.ne with methyl.acryl.te, ethyl.acryl.te, butyl.acryl.te and l.uryl.acryl.te, producing copol.mers with high mol.cul.r weights(Mw up to 80.5 k Da) and high pol.r monomer incorporation(up to 8.2 mol.). Microstructure anal.ses reveal.d that the introduction of l.rge sterical.y hindered substituents facil.tated the incorporation of pol.r functional.units into the pol.mer backbone. This study demonstrates the potential.of these nickel.based catal.sts for efficient copol.merization of ol.fin with pol.r monomers.

Vibration Suppression for Active Magnetic Bearings Using Adaptive Fil.er with Iterative Search Al.orithm

Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) is a kind of el.ctromagnetic support that makes the rotor movement frictionl.ss and can suppress rotor vibration by control.ing the magnetic force. The most common approach to restrain the rotor vibration in AMBs is to adopt a notch fil.er or adaptive fil.er in the AMB control.er. However, these methods cannot obtain the precise ampl.tude and phase of the compensation current. Thus, they are not so effective in terms of suppressing the vibrations of the fundamental.and other harmonic orders over the whol. speed range. To improve the vibration suppression performance of AMBs,an adaptive fil.er based on l.ast Mean Square(l.S) is appl.ed to extract the vibration signal. from the rotor displ.cement signal. An Iterative Search Al.orithm(ISA) is proposed in this paper to obtain the corresponding rel.tionship between the compensation current and vibration signal.. The ISA is responsibl. for searching the compensating ampl.tude and shifting phase onl.ne for the l.S fil.er, enabl.ng the AMB control.er to generate the corresponding compensation force for vibration suppression. The resul.s of ISA are recorded to suppress vibration using the l.ok-Up Tabl.(l.T) in variabl. speed range. Comprehensive simul.tions and experimental.val.dations are carried out in fixed and variabl. speed range, and the resul.s demonstrate that by empl.ying the ISA, vibrations of the fundamental.and other harmonic orders are suppressed effectivel..

High-temperature oxidation resistance of Si-coated C/SiC composites

In this paper, Si coatings were sprayed onto C/Si C composite substrates by atmospheric pl.sma spraying(APS). The high-temperature oxidation behavior of the substrate and coating at temperatures of 1100 and 1300 °C was al.o studied. The C/Si C ceramic matrix composite wil. be damaged seriousl. and even fail.d due to the oxidation of carbon fibers in matrix. The Si coating effectivel. improved the oxidation resistance of the C/Si C substrate in the high-temperature oxidation test. The effect of the thickness of the Si coatings on the oxidation resistance was investigated. The 150-μm coating is proved to enabl. the substrate to have the l.west oxidation weight l.ss and the best oxidation resistance after static oxidation for 5 h.
