BACKGROUND Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),characterized by the production of autoantibodies and widespread deposition of immune complexes,predominantly affects women of childbearing *** than one-third of SLE patients present ocular *** disease is currently not completely understood,and its precise differentiation from central serous chorioretinopathy is rarely *** date,no more than 60 patients with choroidal involvement have been *** SUMMARY A 37-year-old Chinese woman experienced decreased visual acuity bilaterally,accompanied by increasing periorbital swelling and severe conjunctival *** breath sounds in both bases were detected via auscultation,as well as pitting edema in both *** and lupus nephritis were diagnosed based on serositis,renal disorder,leukopenia and positive anti-Smith and anti-nuclear *** choroidopathy was diagnosed based on ocular presentation and imaging. The patient was treated with systemic corticosteroids, spironolactone, hydroxychloroquine(HCQ), mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), and intravenous immunoglobulin. After 4 wkof hospitalization, the patient was discharged. Indocyanine green angiography showed no leakagefrom choroidal vessels, and ocular coherence tomography detected low amounts of subretinalfluid right before discharge. The patient was prescribed oral methylprednisolone, HCQ, and *** months after the first visit, ophthalmological examination revealed a visual acuity of 20/20bilaterally, and SLE disease activity was well controlled;her symptoms disappeared *** we presented a case of lupus choroidopathy, successfully treated with systemic corticosteroids,and discussed previously reported cases, focusing on differential diagnosis with a centralserous chorioretinopathy.

Lowering the synthesis temperature of boron nitride nanotubes(BNNTs)is crucial for their *** primary reason for adopting a high temperature is to enable the effective activation of highmelting-point solid *** this study,we developed a novel approach for efficiently activating boron by introducing alkali metal compounds into the conventional MgO–B *** approach can be adopted to form various low-melting-point AM–Mg–B–O growth *** growth systems have improved catalytic capability and reactivity even under low-temperature conditions,facilitating the synthesis of BNNTs at temperatures as low as 850℃.In addition,molecular dynamics simulations based on density functional theory theoretically demonstrate that the systems maintain a liquid state at low temperatures and interact with N atoms to form BN *** findings offer novel insights into the design of boron activation and are expected to facilitate research on the low-temperature synthesis of BNNTs.

哈尔滨市成年居民膳食模式与高血压患病关系

目的了解中国北方城市哈尔滨居民饮食习惯和膳食模式与高血压患病关系。方法采用多阶段分层随机整群抽样方法共抽取哈尔滨市42个社区,使用食物频率表对12 865名20~74岁常住居民进行膳食调查,有效调查8 591人,使用因子分析方法建立膳食模式,应用logistic回归模型分析不同膳食模式与高血压的关系。结果 8 591名居民中,高血压患者3 386例,总患病率为39.4%,其中男性患病率为47.4%(1 447/3 051),女性为35.0%(1 939/5 540);因子分析得到5种膳食模式、即主食模式、植物食物模式、均衡膳食模式、豆类食物模式、动物食物模式;经logistic回归分析,均衡膳食模式为高血压患病的保护因素(OR=0.86,95%CI=0.81~0.92,P<0.000 1),能降低高血压患病风险;对年龄、性别、教育、BM I、吸烟、饮酒、运动、高血压家族史和总能量摄入进行校正,高盐摄入组患病风险为低盐摄入组的1.62倍(OR=1.62,95%CI=1.29~2.04,P<0.000 1);食用油摄入油腻组高血压的患病风险为清淡组的1.10倍(OR=1.10,95%CI=1.01~1.43,P=0.004)。结论高盐和油腻的饮食习惯,以及不均衡的膳食模式能增加我国北方居民高血压患病风险,应该调整膳食结构和饮食习惯,预防和控制高血压的发生。

Rock fracture mechanism of buffer blasting with cushion layer at the borehole bottom

This study primarily investigates the rock fracture mechanism of bottom cushion layer blasting and explores the effects of the bottom cushion layer on rock *** involves analyses of the evolution patterns of blasting stress,characteristics of crack distribution,and rock fracture features in the ***,blasting model experiments were carried out using the dynamic caustics principle to investigate the influence of bottom cushion layers and initiation methods on the integrity of the bottom rock *** experimental results indicate that the combined use of bottom cushion layers and inverse initiation effectively protects the integrity of the bottom rock ***,the process of stress wave propagation and dynamic crack propagation in rocks was simulated using the continuum-discontinuum element method(CDEM)and the Landau explosion source model,with varying thicknesses of bottom cushion *** numerical simulation results indicate that with increasing cushion thickness,the absorption of energy generated by the explosion becomes more pronounced,resulting in fewer cracks in the bottom rock *** illustrates the positive role of the cushion layer in protecting the integrity of the bottom rock mass.

From waste to wealth:Coal tar residue derived carbon materials as low-cost anodes for potassium-ion batteries

Carbon materials are widely recognized as highly promising electrode materials for various energy storage system *** tar residues(CTR),as a type of carbon-rich solid waste with high value-added utilization,are crucially important for the development of a more sustainable *** this study,we employed a straightforward direct carbonization method within the temperature range of 700-1000℃to convert the worthless solid waste CTR into economically valuable carbon materials as anodes for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).The effect of carbonization temperature on the microstructure and the potassium ions storage properties of CTR-derived carbons(CTRCs)were systematically explored by structural and morphological characterization,alongside electrochemical performances *** on the co-regulation between the turbine layers,crystal structure,pore structure,functional groups,and electrical conductivity of CTR-derived carbon carbonized at 900℃(CTRC-900H),the electrode material with high reversible capacity of 265.6m Ah·g^(-1)at 50 m A·g^(-1),a desirable cycling stability with 93.8%capacity retention even after 100 cycles,and the remarkable rate performance for PIBs were ***,cyclic voltammetry(CV)at different scan rates and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)have been employed to explore the potassium ions storage mechanism and electrochemical kinetics of *** indicate that the electrode behavior is predominantly governed by surface-induced capacitive processes,particularly under high current densities,with the potassium storage mechanism characterized by an“adsorption-weak intercalation”*** work highlights the potential of CTR-based carbon as a promising electrode material category suitable for high-performance PIBs electrodes,while also provides valuable insights into the new avenues for the high value-added utilization of CTR.

Synthesis, Antimicrobial Activity, and Molecular Docking of Benzoic Hydrazide or Amide Derivatives Containing a 1,2,3-Triazole Group as Potential SDH Inhibitors

The present study was carried out in an attempt to synthesize a new class of antimicrobial agents containing a 1,2,3-triazole motif formed by classical copper catalyzed click *** bioassay results showed that five compounds 5a;5e,5h,5j,and 5k possessed a remarkable growth inhibitory activity against Botryosphaeria dothidea,Rhizoctonia solani and Gibberella zeae with EC_(50) values within 10.0-0.306μg/*** in vitro efficacy was better than those of the commercial agrochemicals Azoxystrobin,Boscalid,and *** vivo trials showed that compound 51 was effective for the control of rice sheath blight and wheat scab with the effects of 75% and 95%,*** mechanism studies suggested that target compounds were potential succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors(SDHIs),which were proposed by the agreeable molecular docking study and restrained SDH activity(IC_(50)=3.95 μg/mL,51).Interestingly,compounds 5r and 5s displayed good antibacterial activity against *** vivo screening of 5r and 5s against rice bacterial blight afforded a superior control effect(up to 51%)than those of commercial agents Bismerthiazol and Thiodiazole *** current studies could support some title compounds to be the lead compounds for exploring highly bioactive antimicrobial substrates,particularly the potential SDHIs.

Biomarker assessments of sources and environmental implications of organic matter in sediments from potential cold seep areas of the northeastern South China Sea

Multi-biomarker indexes were analyzed for two piston cores from potential cold seep areas of the South China Sea off southwestern Taiwan. Total organic carbon（TOC） normalized terrestrial（n-alkanes） and marine（brassicasterol, dinosterol, alkenones and iso-GDGTs） biomarker contents and ratios（TMBR, 1/Pmar-aq, BIT） were used to evaluate the contributions of terrestrial and marine organic matter（TOM and MOM respectively） to the sedimentary organic matter, indicating that MOM dominated the organic sources in Core MD052911 and the sedimentary organic matter in Core ORI-_（86）0-22 was mainly derived from terrestrial inputs, and different morphologies were the likely reason for TOM percentage differences. BIT results suggested that river-transported terrestrial soil organic matter was not a major source of TOM of sedimentary organic matter around these *** biomarkers for methane-oxidizing archaea（MOA） were only detected in one sample at 172 cm depth of Core ORI-_（86）0-22, with abnormally high iso-GDGTs content and Methane Index（MI） value（0.94）. These results indicated high anaerobic oxidation of methane（AOM） activities at or around 172 cm in Core ORI-_（86）*** in Core MD052911, MOA biomarkers were not detected and MI values were lower（0.19–0.38）, indicated insignificant contributions of iso-GDGTs from methanotrophic archaea and the absence of significant AOM activities. Biomarker results thus indicated that the discontinuous upward methane seepage and insufficient methane flux could not induce high AOM activities in our sampling sites. In addition, the different patterns of TEX_（86） and U_（37）^（K′） temperature in two cores suggested that AOM activities affected TEX_（86）37 temperature estimates with lower values in Core ORI-_（86）0-22, but not significantly on TEX_（86） temperature estimates in Core MD052911.
