Developing cost-effective electrocatalysts with high activity and stability especially at high current density is of great significance for the large-scale commercial application of electrochemical water splitting to hydrogen production but still remains ***,we report an effective confinement pyrolysis strategy to fabricate embedded ruthenium-cobalt nanoclusters supported on N-doped porous two-dimensional carbon nanosheets(RuCo@CN).Markedly,the embedded structure can effectively prevent the migration,agglomeration,and leaching of nanoparticles,thus endowing the RuCo@CN catalyst with high *** be exact,high stability with up to 650 h can be achieved at high current density(-500 and-1000 mA·cm^(-2)).Besides,the RuCo@CN catalysts also exhibit highly reactive with low overpotentials of only 11mV at-10 mA·cm^(-2).Density functional theory calculations reveal that the introduction of cobalt reduces the decomposition barrier of H_(2)O for RuCo@CN alloy,thus promoting hydrogen evolution reaction.

Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation(AMOC)plays a central role in long-term climate variations through its heat and freshwater transports,which can collapse under a rapid increase of greenhouse gas forcing in climate *** studies have suggested that the deviation of model parameters is one of the major factors in inducing inaccurate AMOC *** this work,with a low-resolution earth system model,the authors try to explore whether a reasonable adjustment of the key model parameter can help to re-establish the AMOC after its *** a new optimization strategy,the extra freshwater flux(FWF)parameter is determined to be the dominant one affecting the AMOC’s *** traditional ensemble optimal interpolation(EnOI)data assimilation and new machine learning methods are adopted to optimize the FWF parameter in an abrupt 4×CO_(2) forcing experiment to improve the adaptability of model parameters and accelerate the recovery of *** results show that,under an abrupt 4×CO_(2) forcing in millennial simulations,the AMOC will first collapse and then re-establish by the default FWF parameter ***,during the parameter adjustment process,the saltier and colder sea water over the North Atlantic region are the dominant factors in usefully improving the adaptability of the FWF parameter and accelerating the recovery of AMOC,according to their physical relationship with FWF on the interdecadal timescale.

Lead-halide perovskite nanoparticles（LHP NPs） are highly promising materials for next-generation displays and solid-state lighting due to their exceptional optical properties. However, their inherent instability presents a significant challenge. Recent advances have demonstrated that optoelectronic devices based on monolayer nanoparticle films exhibit both high luminescence efficiency and long-term *** research demonstrates that mobility limitations and anisotropic alignments in CsPbBr3nanocube monolayer films are key to their stabilization, hindering spontaneous growth through face-to-face fusion and resulting in the formation of connecting necks in a diagonal direction. Introducing laser irradiation confirmed this by significantly accelerating nanocubes growth, increasing mobility, and enhancing local structural ordering, leading to larger and more regularly shaped nanosheets. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy line-scan analyses indicated that laser irradiation did not disrupt the ligand structure. Transmission electron microscopy and correlative cathodoluminescence electron microscopy revealed the effects of post-growth and heterogeneous structures, including enhanced luminescence and inhomogeneous intensity in the nanosheets. These findings deepen the understanding of the post-growth mechanism of monolayer nanoparticles and the structure-emission correlation and highlight the unique role of laser irradiation in directing the formation of well-defined and regular nanostructures.

Acute central nervous system injuries,including ischemic stro ke,intracerebral hemorrhage,subarachnoid hemorrhage,traumatic brain injury,and spinal co rd injury,are a major global health *** optimal therapies and improving the long-term neurological functions of patients with acute central nervous system injuries are urgent *** are susceptible to damage after acute central nervous system injury,and this leads to the release of toxic levels of reactive oxygen species,which induce cell ***,a selective form of autophagy,is crucial in eliminating redundant or damaged mitochondria during these *** evidence has highlighted the significant role of mitophagy in acute central nervous system *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of the process,classification,and related mechanisms of *** also highlight the recent developments in research into the role of mitophagy in various acute central nervous system injuries and drug therapies that regulate *** the final section of this review,we emphasize the potential for treating these disorders by focusing on mitophagy and suggest future research paths in this area.

The minimax concave penalty （MCP） has been demonstrated theoretically and practical- ly to be effective in nonconvex penalization for variable selection and parameter estimation. In this paper, we develop an efficient alternating direction method of multipliers （ADMM） with continuation algorithm for solving the MCP-penalized least squares problem in high dimensions. Under some mild conditions, we study the convergence properties and the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker （KKT） optimality con- ditions of the proposed method. A high-dimensional BIC is developed to select the optimal tuning parameters. Simulations and a real data example are presented to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.

The smooth integration of counting and absolute deviation （SICA） penalized variable selection procedure for high-dimensional linear regression models is proposed by Lv and Fan （2009）. In this article, we extend their idea to Cox＇s proportional hazards （PH） model by using a penalized log partial likelihood with the SICA penalty. The number of the regression coefficients is allowed to grow with the sample size. Based on an approximation to the inverse of the Hessian matrix, the proposed method can be easily carried out with the smoothing quasi-Newton （SQN） algorithm. Under appropriate sparsity conditions, we show that the resulting estimator of the regression coefficients possesses the oracle property. We perform an extensive simulation study to compare our approach with other methods and illustrate it on a well known PBC data for predicting survival from risk factors.

The seamless-L0 （SELO） penalty is a smooth function on [0, ∞） that very closely resembles the L0 penalty, which has been demonstrated theoretically and practically to be effective in nonconvex penalization for variable selection. In this paper, we first generalize SELO to a class of penalties retaining good features of SELO, and then propose variable selection and estimation in linear models using the proposed generalized SELO （GSELO） penalized least squares （PLS） approach. We show that the GSELO-PLS procedure possesses the oracle property and consistently selects the true model under some regularity conditions in the presence of a diverging number of variables. The entire path of GSELO-PLS estimates can be efficiently computed through a smoothing quasi-Newton （SQN） method. A modified BIC coupled with a continuation strategy is developed to select the optimal tuning parameter. Simulation studies and analysis of a clinical data are carried out to evaluate the finite sample performance of the proposed method. In addition, numerical experiments involving simulation studies and analysis of a microarray data are also conducted for GSELO-PLS in the high-dimensional settings.

In this paper,the authors study the Cauchy problem of n-dimensional isentropic Euler equations and Euler-Boltzmann equations with vacuum in the whole *** show that if the initial velocity satisfies some condition on the integral J in the"isolated mass group"(see(1.13)),then there will be finite time blow-up of regular solutions to the Euler system with J≤0(n≥1)and to the Euler-Boltzmann system with J<0(n≥1)and J=0(n≥2),no matter how small and smooth the initial data *** is worth mentioning that these blow-up results imply the following:The radiation is not strong enough to prevent the formation of singularities caused by the appearance of vacuum,with the only possible exception in the case J=0 and n=1 since the radiation behaves differently on this occasion.

Objective To explore the effect of low-frequency magnetic stimulation at Shenmen(HT 7)acupoint on blood oxygen levels in the prefrontal cortex of healthy *** Functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS)technology was used to collect real-time data of oxygenated hemoglobin(oxy-Hb)in the prefrontal cortex of 16 healthy subjects at resting state and low-frequency magnetic stimulation of *** mean and integral values of blood oxygen concentration were *** Compared with the resting state,the mean and integral values of blood oxygen concentration were decreased during the task period,recovery period,and the whole process in the magnetic stimulation of Shenmen acupoint(P<0.05).In particular,the difference was statistically significant in the recovery period(P<0.01).Conclusions The prefrontal cortex was widely activated and produced an immediate effect by reducing the local blood oxygen concentration at low-frequency magnetic stimulation of Shenmen acupoint,which verifies the sedative effect of Shenmen acupoint.
