Local Region Frequency Guided Dynamic Inconsistency Network for Deepfake Video Detection

In recent years, with the rapid development of deepfake technology, a large number of deepfake videos have emerged on the Internet, which poses a huge threat to national politics, social stability, and personal privacy. Although many existing deepfake detection methods exhibit excellent performance for known manipulations, their detection capabilities are not strong when faced with unknown manipulations. Therefore, in order to obtain better generalization ability, this paper analyzes global and local inter-frame dynamic inconsistencies from the perspective of spatial and frequency domains, and proposes a Local region Frequency Guided Dynamic Inconsistency Network (LFGDIN). The network includes two parts: Global SpatioTemporal Network (GSTN) and Local Region Frequency Guided Module (LRFGM). The GSTN is responsible for capturing the dynamic information of the entire face, while the LRFGM focuses on extracting the frequency dynamic information of the eyes and mouth. The LRFGM guides the GTSN to concentrate on dynamic inconsistency in some significant local regions through local region alignment, so as to improve the model's detection performance. Experiments on the three public datasets (FF++, DFDC, and Celeb-DF) show that compared with many recent advanced methods, the proposed method achieves better detection results when detecting deepfake videos of unknown manipulation types.

A dural substitute based on oxidized quaternized guar gum/porcine peritoneal acellular matrix with improved stability, antibacterial and anti-adhesive properties

Trauma and neurosurgery often result in dural defects and are followed by serious complications or even death, finding suitable dural replacement materials to repair the defective dura has important clinical significance. Porcine peritoneal acellular matrix(PPAM) is a promising alternative material, but its poor stability makes it difficult to meet the various needs of dural reconstruction. In this work, we developed a novel antibacterial cross-linking agent oxidized quaternized guar gum(OQGG) and used it for the first time to stabilize PPAM to construct a dural mater substitute(OQGG-PPAM). The results showed that 1.5%OQGG-PPAM presented suitable mechanical property as well as good thermal stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation. It also exhibited good antibacterial activity and good anti-leakage ability. Furthermore, 1.5% OQGG-PPAM not only exhibited excellent cell compatibility but also significantly stimulated the secretion of b FGF and VEGF from seeded cells which was convenient for dural remodeling. In vivo experiment, it also exhibited the excellent histocompatibility and good anti-adhesion property. This study showed that OQGG can be used as a novel antibacterial cross-linking reagent for crosslinking natural tissues and 1.5% OQGG-PPAM was a potential candidate material for dura mater substitute.

Optimization Analysis of Sliding Electrical Contact Interface Based on Electromechanical Coupling

This work addresses the critical issue of current density distribution in the sliding electrical contact interface based on electromechanical coupling, which is essential for minimizing damage and enhancing performance. Using electromechanical coupling analysis and finite element analysis (FEA), the effects of initial contact pressure, pulse current input, and armature speed on current density are examined. Key findings indicate that optimizing the convex rail and armature structures significantly reduces peak current density, improving uniformity and reducing damage. These optimizations enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and service life of sliding electrical contact interfaces, providing a theoretical foundation for designing more durable and efficient high-current-density applications.

Natural-derived porous nanocarriers for the delivery of essential oils

Essential oils(EOs) are natural, volatile substances derived from aromatic plants. They exhibit multiple pharmacological effects, including antibacterial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, with broad application prospects in health care, food, and agriculture. However, the instability of volatile components, which are susceptible to deterioration under light,heat, and oxygen exposure, as well as limited water solubility, have significantly impeded the development and application of *** nanoclays are natural clay minerals with a layered structure. They possess unique structural characteristics such as large pore size, regular distribution, and tunable particle size, which are extensively utilized in drug delivery, adsorption separation, reaction catalysis, and other fields. Natural-derived porous nanoclays have garnered considerable attention for the encapsulation and delivery of EOs. This review comprehensively summarizes the structure, types, and properties of natural-derived porous nanoclays, focusing on the structural characteristics of porous nanoclays such as montmorillonite, palygorskite, halloysite, kaolinite, vermiculite, and natural zeolite. It also examines research advances in their delivery of EOs and explores engineering strategies to enhance the delivery of EOs by natural-derived porous nanoclays. Finally, various applications of natural-derived porous nanoclays for EOs in antibacterial, food preservation, repellent, and insecticide aspects are presented, providing a reference for the development and application of EOs.

Multiple strain sensors are required to identify individual forces/stresses on human joints and recognize how they work together in order to determine the motion’s direction and ***,current sensors cannot detect and differentiate the individual forces/stresses and their contributions to the motion from the sensors’electrical *** address this critical issue,we propose a concept of unimodal tension,bend,shear,and twist strain sensors with piezoelectric poly L-lactic acid *** then construct an integrated unimodal sensor(i-US)using the unimodal sensors and prove that the i-US can detect and differentiate individual strain modes,such as tensioning,bending,shearing,and twisting in complex *** demonstrate the potential impact of unimodal sensors,we design a sleeve and a glove with the i-US that can capture wrist motions and finger ***,we expect unimodal strain sensors to provide a turning point in developing motion recognition and control systems.

为了研究弹丸、摇架与轴向运动身管耦合系统的振动特性,根据哈密顿原理推导出移动弹丸激励下身管和摇架系统的振动方程,采用修正的伽辽金法将时变方程离散,运用四阶龙格-库塔法进行数值计算,结合算例验证了方程的正确性,研究了摇架和弹丸的惯性效应对身管振动特性的影响.研究结果表明:所建立的含摇架的耦合系统模型可以综合考虑摇架角运动和扰动力矩的影响,丰富了身管振动影响因素的研究内容;增大弹丸加速度和减小弹丸质量偏心距有利于减小炮口振动响应.
