Pore scale numerical investigation of counter-current spontaneous imbibition in multi-scaled pore networks

The multi-scaled pore networks of shale or tight reservoirs are considerably different from the conventional sandstone reservoirs.After hydraulic fracturing treatment,the spontaneous imbibition process plays an important role in the productivity of the horizontal wells.Applying the color-gradient model of Lattice Boltzmann Method(LBM)accelerated with parallel computing,we studied the countercurrent spontaneous imbibition process in two kinds of pore structures with different interlacing distributions of large and small pores.The effect of geometry configuration of pore arrays with different pore-scale and the capillary number Ca on the mechanism of counter-current spontaneous imbibition as well as the corresponding oil recovery factor are studied.We found that the wetting phase tends to invade the small pore array under small Ca in both types of geometry configurations of different pore arrays of four pore arrays zones.The wetting phase also tends to invade the pore array near the inlet for injecting the wetting phase no matter if it is a large pore array or small pore array except for the situation when the Ca is large to a certain value.In this situation,the small pore arrays show resistance to the wetting phase,so the wetting phase doesn't invade the small pore near the inlet,but invades the large pore preferentially.Both the geometry configurations of different pore arrays and Ca have a significant effect on the oil recovery factor.This work will help to solve the doubt about the selectivity of the multi-scaled pores of the wetting phase and the role of pores with different sizes in imbibition and oil draining in countercurrent spontaneous imbibition processes.

Rational construction of active components has been the biggest challenge in preparing efficient bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts.Herein,electrospinning and chemical vapor deposition(CVD)were employed to embed active species including FeCo nanoparticles,MNx(M=Fe,Co),and FePx in porous and graphitized carbon nanotubes(CNTs)/carbon nanofiber(CNF).The as-prepared FeCo@CoNx@FePx/C exhibited a half-wave potential as high as 0.86 V in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and low oxygen evolution reaction(OER)overpotential of 368 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2),which are superior to Pt/C(0.83 V)and IrO_(2)(375 mV)respectively.The assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB)showed a high energy efficiency(Edischarge/Echarge)of 65%at 20 mA·cm^(−2)and stabilized for 700 charge-discharge cycles.The spectroscopic and microscopic characterizations evidenced that the outstanding bifunctionality of the electrocatalyst can be ascribed to three main reasons:First,FeCo nanoparticles are rich in MOH/MOOH active sites for OER,and FePx/CNTs constructed with CVD also modulate electronic structure to improve electron transfer;second,both MNx in carbon matrix and FePx/CNTs are highly active towards ORR;third,the CNTs/CNF are highly porous and graphitized,which promotes mass transport and improves electrical conductivity and stability of the electrocatalysts.This work gives important implications on the design of bifunctional electrocatalysts.

Chiral two-dimensional(2D) perovskites offer numerous attractive features for optoelectronics owing to their soft, deformable lattices and a high degree of chemical tunability. While tremendous advances have been made in perovskite-based direct circularly polarized light(CPL) detection, the low circular polarization anisotropy factor and sensitivity of those photodetectors arising from large lattice distortion still limit practical applications. Herein, chiral 2D perovskite-based single-crystalline microwire arrays with enhanced circular dichroism(CD) absorption are fabricated with the synergy of the capillary-bridgeconfined assembly method and chlorine-substituted phenethylamine(Cl-MBA). Compared with phenethylamine(MBA)-inserted perovskites, the smaller lattice distortion and increased halogen–halogen interaction within Cl–MBA-inserted perovskites strengthen lattice rigidity and weaken electron–phonon coupling to improve carrier transport and thermal stability, resulting in high-performance CPL photodetectors with an anisotropy factor of 0.25, responsivity exceeding 95.7±9.3 A W^(-1)and detectivity exceeding(3.05±0.30)×10^(13)Jones. This work opens a new perspective to modulate circular polarization sensitivity and will be helpful to realize promising implementations in quantum computation and communication.

Pyroptosis is a form of programmed cell death mediated by gasdermin and is a product of continuous cell expansion until the cytomembrane ruptures,resulting in the release of cellular contents that can activate strong inflammatory and immune responses.Pyroptosis,an innate immune response,can be triggered by the activation of inflammasomes by various influencing factors.Activation of these inflammasomes can induce the maturation of caspase-1 or caspase-4/5/11,both of which cleave gasdermin D to release its N-terminal domain,which can bind membrane lipids and perforate the cell membrane.Here,we review the latest advancements in research on the mechanisms of pyroptosis,newly discovered influencing factors,antitumoral properties,and applications in various diseases.Moreover,this review also provides updates on potential targeted therapies for inflammation and cancers,methods for clinical prevention,and finally challenges and future directions in the field.

节点用水量的动态估计是供水管网水力模型动态更新的主要工作,以扩展Kalman滤波(EKF)为代表的数据同化方法已被应用于管网水力模型参数动态校核和估计中,但现有研究未考虑用户节点24 h用水模式对节点用水量估计的影响。该文研究了节点用水模式先验信息对EKF方法节点用水量动态估计结果的影响。根据用户24 h的用水模式和t时刻用水量估计值预测t+1时刻节点用水量,并采用t+1时刻管网测量数据校正t+1时刻节点用水量预测值。案例管网的应用结果表明:与现有研究中应用的EKF方法相比,考虑用水模式的扩展Kalman滤波(IEKF)方法对应的用水量估计平均绝对百分比误差降低了15.93%,节点用水量时变曲线的Nash-Sutcliffe效率(NSE)系数值提高了0.40,且2种方法的计算时间相近;与推断测量Kalman滤波(IMKF)相比,IEKF方法对应的用水量估计平均绝对百分比误差降低了12.20%,节点用水量时变曲线的NSE系数值提高了0.35,计算时间缩短了99.8%。在节点用水量估计问题中,考虑用水模式可以显著提高EKF方法的计算精度。

“教育理论要回归实践”是教育学领域的共识。基于实践的教育理论构建亦需要从方法论的视角来加以关照,结合对否证主义立场以及经验视角的理解,回到事实经验层面不断否证的路径揭示了方法论建设中应持有的一种新逻辑,即经验为基的精致否证主义,其核心在于采取一种对已有理论和先入之见进行批判性审视的态度,并不断寻找新的事实去质疑。在经验为基的精致否证主义方法论逻辑下,无论哪一种研究方法都能从中寻找到扎根实践的理论构建可能,我们需要重新思考不同教育研究形式在设计和实施中的新原则,关注不同研究之间的对话,以促成扎根实践的教育理论的构建。

Reversible phase transition for switchable second harmonic generation in 2D perovskite microwires

Highly efficient second-harmonic generation(SHG)has facilitated the development of nanophotonics and sustained promising applications,ranging from electro-optical modulation,frequency conversion,and optical frequency combs to pulse characterization.Although controllable SHG switching has been observed in nanophotonics structures and molecule systems,the relatively small SHG switching contrast impedes its application in switchable nonlinear optics.Herein,reversible phase transitions between glassy and crystalline states without material degradation are demonstrated based on solution-processed chiral perovskite microwire arrays.Breaking of lattice inversion symmetry and high crystallinity support efficient SHG in microwire arrays.By synergy of high-performance SHG and reversible phase transitions between glassy and crystalline states,reversible switching of SHG is demonstrated under facile conditions.The high SHG switching performances,together with a small footprint,pave the way toward the integration of switchable nonlinear devices based on microwire arrays.

三次谐波源于强脉冲激光照射样品时产生的三倍频光响应,可对生物组织实现无标记、亚细胞量级分辨率、近乎实时的成像。通过与二次谐波信号和双/三光子荧光信号相结合,三次谐波显微成像可在肿瘤术中揭示肿瘤组织的典型病理特征信息,比如细胞增生与血管增生等,从而为医生判断肿瘤边界进而做出肿瘤组织彻底切除与否的决策提供实时帮助。本文阐述了三次谐波显微成像的基本原理,讨论了它在肿瘤术中诊断方面的应用,探讨了基于三次谐波的小型化便携术中诊断仪器,并总结了三次谐波内窥成像的发展现状,这些内容的讨论有望推动三次谐波成像技术的临床化。

Evaluation of the weakening behavior of gas on the coal strength and its quantitative influence on the coal deformation

The coal strength and deformation properties are key factors affecting safe coal mining and highefficiency coalbed methane(CBM)development.In this paper,reconstituted coal samples are chosen to investigate the weakening behavior of gas on coal strength,meanwhile,its effects on coal deformation are quantitatively evaluated.The results indicate that the weakening degree of gas on coal strength is closely related to the confining stress and gas pressure.Compared with non-gas-saturated coals,the maximum weakening ratios of adsorbed gas to coal strength are 10.58%,18.12%,8.55%and 14.65%under the conditions of confining stress CS=3 MPa and gas pressure GP=1 MPa,CS=3 MPa and GP=2 MPa,CS=4 MPa and GP=1 MPa,and CS=4 MPa and GP=2 MPa,respectively.Furthermore,the maximum weakening ratios of free gas to coal strength are 18.27%,36.54%,14.79%and 29.58%,respectively,under above four conditions.The maximum coal bulk strain decreases as particle sizes of coal powders increase,and it has a maximum value of 0.0227 and a minimum value of 0.0191 in particle size ranges of 0.01–0.041 and 0.5–1 mm.Under the same conditions,the coal bulk strain increases with increasing gas pressure,revealing that coal deformation properties can be enhanced by gas.
