Due to higher demands on product diversity,flexible shift between productions of different products in one equipment becomes a popular solution,resulting in existence of multiple operation modes in a single *** order to handle such multi-mode process,a novel double-layer structure is proposed and the original data are decomposed into common and specific characteristics according to the relationship between variables among each *** addition,both low and high order information are considered in each *** common and specific information within each mode can be captured and separated into several subspaces according to the different order *** performance of the proposed method is further validated through a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman(TE)*** with previous methods,superiority of the proposed method is validated by the better monitoring results.

Implementation of a TPM-Based Security Enhanced Browser Password Manager

In order to enhance the security of a browser password manager, we propose an approach based on a hardware trusted platform module （TPM）. Our approach encrypts users＇ passwords with keys generated by the TPM, which uses a master password as the credential for authorization to access the TPM. Such a hardware-based feature may provide an efficient way to protect users＇ passwords. Experiment and evaluation results show that our approach performs well to defend against password stealing attack and brute force attack. Attackers cannot get passwords directly from the browser, therefore they will spend incredible time to obtain passwords. Ferroptosis, a novel mode of non-apoptotic cell death,involves a metabolic dysfunction that results in the production of iron-dependent reactive oxygen species (ROS),an iron carrier protein (transferrin), intracellular metabolic process, and related regulators (e.g., p53 protein).Previous studies have linked ferroptosis with oncogenic Ras [1], and p53 tumor suppressor positively regulates ferroptosis by transcriptionally inhibiting the expression of the cysteine/glutamate antiporter, which is encoded by the SLC7A11 gene in human [1, 2]. Whether other factors such as epigenetic factors are involved in the process remains less *** modifier lymphoid specific helicase (LSH)contributes to the malignant progression of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and glioma [3]. We recently indicated that LSH was shown to co-operate with partners, such as G9a, to drive cancer progression [4, 5].

The absorber is the key unit in the post-combustion monoethanolamine(MEA)-based carbon dioxide(CO_(2))capture process.A rate-based dynamic model for the absorber is developed and validated using steady-state experimental data reported in open *** analysis is performed with respect to important model parameters associated with the reaction,mass transport and phy-sical property ***,a singular value decomposition(SVD)-based subspace parameter estimation method is proposed to improve the model ***,dynamic simulations are carried out to investigate the effects of the feed rate of lean MEA solution and the flue inlet *** results indicate that the established dynamic model can reasonably reflect the physical behavior of the *** new insights are gained from the simulation results.

As an indispensable part of process monitoring, the performance of fault classification relies heavily on the sufficiency of process knowledge. However, data labels are always difficult to acquire because of the limited sampling condition or expensive laboratory analysis, which may lead to deterioration of classification *** handle this dilemma, a new semi-supervised fault classification strategy is performed in which enhanced active learning is employed to evaluate the value of each unlabeled sample with respect to a specific labeled *** samples with large values will serve as supplementary information for the training dataset. In addition,we introduce several reasonable indexes and criteria, and thus human labeling interference is greatly reduced. Finally,the fault classification effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated using a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman process.

Significant cellular senescence has been observed in cartilage harvested from patients with osteoarthritis(OA).In this study,we aim to develop a senescence-relevant OA-like cartilage model for developing disease-modifying OA drugs(DMOADs).Spe-cifically,human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)were expanded in vitro up to passage 10(P10-MSCs).Following their senescent phenotype formation,P10-MSCs were subjected to pellet culture in chondrogenic *** from qRT-PCR,histology,and immunostaining indicated that cartilage generated from P10-MSCs displayed both senescent and OA-like phenotypes without using other OA-inducing agents,when compared to that from normal passage 4(P4)-***,the same gene expression differences observed between P4-MSCs and P10-MSC-derived cartilage tissues were also observed between the preserved and damaged OA cartilage regions taken from human samples,as demonstrated by RNA sequencing data and other analysis ***,the utility of this senescence-initiated OA-like cartilage model in drug development was assessed by testing several potential DMOADs and *** results suggest that pre-existing cellular senescence can induce the generation of OA-like changes in *** P4-and P10-MSCs derived cartilage models also represent a novel platform for predicting the efficacy and toxicity of potential DMOADs on both preserved and damaged cartilage in humans.
