ControlService: a containerized solution for control-algorithm-as-a-service in cloud control systems

As an extension of networked control systems, cloud control systems(CCSs) have emerged as a new control paradigm to improve the service quality of emerging control missions, such as data-driven modeling and automated vehicles. Existing studies have used the workflow-based restructured method to optimize the computation-intensive algorithms in the CCSs. However, the challenges here are how to define and submit these algorithms' workflows as cloud services and execute these algorithms' workflows in a containerized manner. Based on these challenges, we propose a containerized solution for the control-algorithm-as-a-service(C3aS) in the CCSs, namely Control Service. It offers the control algorithm as a cloud workflow service and uses a customized workflow engine to realize the containerized execution. First, we employ a cloud workflow representation method to define a control algorithm into an abstract cloud workflow form. Afterward, we provide a cloud service representation of the abstract cloud workflow. Next, we design a workflow engine and submit the cloud service to this workflow engine to implement containerized execution of this cloud service in the CCSs. In the experiment, we discuss the cloud service form and containerized implementation of the subspace identification method. Experimental results show that the proposed Control Service has significant performance advantages in computational time, reduction percentage, and speedup ratio compared with the baseline method.

This paper proposes a novel notion for structural controllability under structured numerical perturbations, namely the perturbation-tolerant structural controllability（PTSC）, on a single-input structured system whose entries can be classified into three categories: fixed zero entries, unknown generic entries whose values are fixed but unknown, and perturbed entries that can take arbitrary complex values. Such a system is PTSC if, for almost all values of the unknown generic entries in the parameter space,the corresponding controllable system realizations can preserve controllability under arbitrary complex-valued perturbations with their structure prescribed by the perturbed entries. This new notion can characterize the generic property in controllability preservation under structured numerical perturbations. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a single-input system to be PTSC,whose verification has polynomial time complexity. Our results can serve as some feasibility conditions for the conventional structured controllability radius problems from a generic view.

This paper presents Part II of a review on DFACS,which specifically focuses on the modeling and analysis of disturbances and noises in *** Part I,the system composition and dynamics model of the DFACS were *** this paper,we discuss the effects of disturbance forces and noises on the system,and summarize various analysis and modeling methods for these interferences,including the integral method,frequency domain analysis method,and magnitude evaluation *** analyzing the impact of disturbances and noises on the system,the paper also summarizes the system’s performance under slight ***,we highlight current research difficulties in the field of DFACS noise ***,this paper provides valuable insights into the modeling and analysis of disturbances and noises in DFACSs,and identifies key areas for future research.

The Drag-Free and Attitude Control System(DFACS)is a critical platform for various space missions,including high precision satellite navigation,geoscience and gravity field measurement,and space scientific *** paper presents a comprehensive review of over sixty years of research on the design and dynamics model of ***,we examine the open literature on DFACS and its applications in Drag-Free missions,providing readers with necessary background information on the ***,we analyze the system configurations and main characteristics of different DFACSs,paying particular attention to the coupling mechanism between the system configuration and dynamics ***,we summarize the dynamics modeling methods and main dynamics models of DFACS from multiple perspectives,including common fundamentals and specific ***,we identify current challenges and technological difficulties in the system design and dynamics modeling of DFACS,while suggesting potential avenues for future *** paper aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the state-of-the-art in DFACS research,as well as the future prospects and challenges in this field.

Based on practical problems, such as power transmission and internet of things, this paper establishes a class of discrete switched networked control model. For the model, we propose input-output finite-time stability（I-O FTS） ***, we formulate the corresponding stability theorem, and then, transform this theorem into conditions with matrix constraints. To conclusion this paper, we use these conclusions to solve I-O FTS problem for a kind of power transmission systems.

In this paper, dynamic role assignment and collision avoidance based on consensus tracking algorithm are investigated for systems with complete communication graph. First, based on the traditional consensus protocol,consensus-based control algorithm with dynamic role assignment is proposed. To make each agent reach the closest formation point, we give an efficient assignment solution by solving an optimal problem with Hungarain ***, by constructing collision avoidance potential functions, modified consensus algorithms containing corresponding gradient terms are presented for multi-agents systems, which guarantee collision avoidance. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

This paper considers the stabilization problem of networked control systems concerned both bounded channel uncertainty and arbitrary packet loss. Based on a previous approach which considers packet loss only, this paper proposes a new model to describe the NCS with both packet loss and channel uncertainty in an unified framework. The stability conditions of networked control systems are given by a common quadratic Lyapunov function approach. We give an approach to design the dynamic feedback controller via solving linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）. Finally, a numerical example with simulations is given to show the effectiveness of the approach.

This paper presents an input prediction based active disturbance rejection control scheme for systems with *** new scheme is motivated by the principle of Smith-predictor and traditional active disturbance rejection *** order to make the transitive relation between the virtual control input and actual output approach a pure inertial element,an input predictor is *** approximate error forms part of total error as well as the internal uncertainties and external disturbances,which can be easily dealt by traditional active disturbance rejection *** examples and simulations based on the fuel dynamics of a boiler turbine unit show the improvement of the new method.
