Evolving pattern and improvement path of China’s solid waste management policies

Systematically sorting out the evolving pattern of solid waste management policies and studying the key points and development trends of solid waste management policies are conducive to the clarification of improvement path of solid waste management *** on the promulgated solid waste management policies,this study applies statistical methods to the analysis of the text structure and contents of the solid waste management policies,attempting to find out the internal evolving pattern of the solid waste management policies in *** integrating the current policy requirements for the construction of‘waste-free city’,this study puts forward a policy optimization and improvement *** findings are briefly listed blow:①The solid waste management policies have demonstrated multiple text types and various levels of effectiveness,and the policy framework system is gradually optimized.②In each edition of solid waste management policy,the hotspot issues are highlighted with distinctive characteristics of the times and dynamic *** policies are covering more fields,the contents are more targeted and comprehensive,and the implementation is more specific and practical.③The policies mainly focus on harmlessness,reduction,reclamation,pollution prevention,supervision and management,secondary pollution,recycling,circular economy,etc.④The government strengthens the top-level design from the macro level,focusing on policy guidance and standardization,policy coordination,technical support,and governance improvement to promote the realization of the goals of‘harmlessness,reduction,reclamation’.⑤The diversification of tools,approaches and factors supporting solid waste management,and the growing awareness of the technical support of solid waste management,and the management mode and governance path have entered the phase of adaptive *** on practical needs,the market oriented policies and incentive mechanisms for solid waste management are ina

Eureka lemon zinc finger protein ClDOF3.4 interacts with citrus yellow vein clearing virus coat protein to inhibit viral infection

Citrus yellow vein clearing virus(CYVCV)is a new citrus virus that has become an important factor restricting the development of China’s citrus industry,and the CYVCV coat protein(CP)is associated with viral *** this study,the Eureka lemon zinc finger protein(ZFP)ClDOF3.4 was shown to interact with CYVCV CP in vivo and in *** expression of ClDOF3.4 in Eureka lemon induced the expression of salicylic acid(SA)-related and hypersensitive response marker genes,and triggered a reactive oxygen species burst,ion leakage necrosis,and the accumulation of free ***,the CYVCV titer in ClDOF3.4 transgenic Eureka lemon plants was approximately 69.4%that in control plants 6 mon after inoculation,with only mild leaf chlorotic spots observed in those transgenic *** together,the results indicate that ClDOF3.4 not only interacts with CP but also induces an immune response in Eureka lemon by inducing the SA *** is the first report that ZFP is involved in the immune response of a citrus viral disease,which provides a basis for further study of the molecular mechanism of CYVCV infection.

Tectonic Characteristics, Evolution, and Significance of the Zhouwang Fault, Lower Yangtze Area, Eastern China

Fault geometry, kinematics, geophysics, the tectonic stress field and tectonic evolution of the Zhouwang fault in the southern Jiangnan tectonic transition zone of the Lower Yangtze region, eastern China are examined. Field observations show the fault is composed of a series of nearly E–W trending, N–S dipping faults, and four stages of tectonism(sinistral strike-slip, thrust nappe, normal fault, and dextral strike-slip) developed in turn. Geophysical data show that the fault trends almost linearly E–W along a flat, steep gravity gradient at shallow depth, with distinct gravity anomalies to the north and south and different in the north and south. Also, the deep part is characterized by northward dip and a gradual slowing down. Tectonic stress field analysis indicates that the fault experienced four tectonic movements: NNE–SSW compression, NNW–SSE compression, NEE–SWW extension, and E–W compression. Combined with regional tectonic background and previous research results, this indicates that:(1) the Zhouwang fault experienced sinistral strike-slip movement during the Indosinian Period(260–200 Ma);(2) thrust nappes developed during the early Yanshanian Period(163–145 Ma);(3) a normal fault occurred in the late Yanshanian Period(125–65 Ma);and(4) dextral strike-slip movement occurred in the Himalayan Period(ca. 50–37 Ma). The results reveal the tectonic evolution of the fault during Mesozoic deformation in the area, and also reveal the geological evolution and tectonic transformation of the Lower Yangtze region, which is key to our understanding of intracontinental deformation in eastern China.

Background:Chikungunya is emerging and reemerging word-widely in the past *** is non-endemic in Zhejiang Province,Southeast *** albopictus,one of major vectors of chikungunya,is widely-distribution in Zhejiang,and autochthonous transmission is possible after introducing chikungunya ***:Retrospectively collected the epidemiological,clinical and genetic data of chikungunya and conducted the descriptive analysis and gene sequence ***:From 2008 to 2022,29 chikungunya cases,including 26 overseas imported and 3 local cases,were reported and no cases died of *** than half of the imported cases(53.85%)were from Southeast *** peak of the imported cases was noted between August and September,and 42.31%cases onset in those 2 *** prefecture-level cities and 16 counties reported cases during the study period,with Jinghua(27.59%)and Hangzhou(24.14%)reporting the largest number of *** 3 local cases were all reported in Qujiang,Quzhou in *** imported cases,the male-female gender ratio was 2.71:1,20-30 years old cases(46.15%)and commercial service(42.31%)accounted for the highest ***,fever(100%),fatigue(94.44%),arthralgia(79.17%),headache(71.43%)and erythra(65.22%)were the most common reported *** whole-genome sequences were obtained and belonged to East/Central/South African(ECSA)or Asian ***:With the change of immigration policy,the surveillance of chikungunya should be strengthened and the ability of the case discovery and diagnosis should be improved in Zhejiang in the post-COVID-19 era.

Optical Characteristics of Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter(CDOM)in Upstream and Downstream Lakes of Taihu Lake Basin:New Insights for Water Environmental Management

Chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM)is a key component of organic matter that contributes to the ecological functioning of *** lakes in Taihu Lake Basin play an important role in maintaining regional ecological stabilities;however,the optical characteristics of the CDOM in the upstream and downstream lakes in this basin have not yet been systematically ***,the optical characteristics of CDOM in ten lakes of upstream and downstream of the Taihu Lake Basin were studied using UV-Visible and excitation-emission matrix *** different fluorophores consisting of two humic-like components(C1,C2)and one protein-like component(C3)were identified by parallel factor *** or surface erosion was responsible for the higher abund-ance of C1 in the upstream lakes,and increased biological activities accounted for the higher abundance of C3 in the downstream *** erosion in the wet season led to an increase in *** also found that the photodegradation and flocculation degree,which played a significant role in reducing CDOM,were higher in downstream lakes than in upstream *** analysis of CDOM provides a promising method for monitoring water qualities(e.g.,total phosphorus and potassium permanganate index)in each ***-ductions in soil or surface erosion in the upstream are needed to improve water quality.

A comprehensive first-principle study of borophene-based nano gas sensor with gold electrodes

Using density functional theory combined with nonequilibrium Green’s function method,the transport properties of borophene-based nano gas sensors with gold electrodes are calculated,and comprehensive understandings regarding the effects of gas molecules,MoS2 substrate and gold electrodes to the transport properties of borophene are *** show that borophene-based sensors can be used to detect and distinguish CO,NO,NO2 and NH3 gas molecules,MoS2 substrate leads to a nonlinear behavior on the current-voltage characteristic,and gold electrodes provide charges to borophene and form a potential barrier,which reduced the current values compared to the current of the systems without gold *** studies not only provide useful information on the computationally design of borophene-based gas sensors,but also help understand the transport behaviors and underlying physics of 2D metallic materials with metal electrodes.

The formation of new and functional cardiomyocytes requires a 3-step process:dedifferentiation,proliferation,and redifferentiation,but the critical genes required for efficient dedifferentiation,proliferation,and redifferentiation remain *** our study,a circular trajectory using single-nucleus RNA sequencing of the pericentriolar material 1 positive(PCM1^(+))cardiomyocyte nuclei from hearts 1 and 3 days after surgery-induced myocardial infarction(MI)on postnatal Day 1 was reconstructed and demonstrated that actin remodeling contributed to the dedifferentiation,proliferation,and redifferentiation of cardiomyocytes after *** identified four top actin-remodeling regulators,namely Tmsb4x,Tmsb10,Dmd,and Ctnna3,which we collectively referred to as *** expressed changes of 2D2P,using a polycistronic non-integrating lentivirus driven by Tnnt2(cardiac-specific troponin T)promoters(Tnnt2-2D2P-NIL),efficiently induced transiently proliferative activation and actin remodeling in postnatal Day 7 cardiomyocytes and adult ***,the intramyocardial delivery of Tnnt2-2D2P-NIL resulted in a sustained improvement in cardiac function without ventricular dilatation,thickened septum,or fatal arrhythmia for at least 4 *** conclusion,this study highlights the importance of actin remodeling in cardiac regeneration and provides a foundation for new gene-cocktail-therapy approaches to improve cardiac repair and treat heart failure using a novel transient and cardiomyocyte-specific viral construct.
