Relationship between Apolipoprotein Superfamily and Parkinson＆#39;s Disease

Objective： Parkinson＆#39;s disease （PD） is featured with motor disorder and nonmotor manifestations including psychological symptoms, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and paresthesia, which results in great inconvenience to the patients＆#39;life. The apolipoprotein （Apo） superfamily, as a group of potentially modifiable biomarkers in clinical practice, is of increasing significance in the diagnosis, evaluation, and prognosis of PD. The present review summarized the current understanding and emerging findings of the relationship between Apo superfamily and PD. Data Sources：All literatures were identified by systematically searching PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane electronic databases with terms＆quot;Parkinson disease,＆quot; ＆quot;apolipoprotein,＆quot; and their synonyms until May 2017. Study Selection： We have thoroughly examined titles and abstracts of all the literatures that met our search strategy and the full text if the research is identified or not so definite. Reference lists of retrieved articles were also scrutinized for additional relevant studies. Results： The levels of plasma ApoA1 are inversely correlated with the risk of PD and the lower levels of ApoA1 trend toward association with poorer motor performance. Higher ApoD expression in neurons represents more puissant protection against PD, which is critical in delaying the neurodegeneration process of PD. It is suggested that APOE alleles are related to development and progression of cognitive decline and age of PD onset, but conclusions are not completely identical, which may be attributed to different ApoE isoforms. APOJ gene expressions are upregulated in PD patients and it is possible that high ApoJ level is an indicator of PD dementia and correlates with specific phenotypic variations in PD. Conclusions： The Apo superfamily has been proved to be closely involved in the initiation, progression, and prognosis of PD. Regarding the morphology of alumina,effect of the heredity of raw materials on properties of aluminamagnesia refractory castables was investigated by adding platelet alumina as the specific ***-situ spinel platelet formed derived from platelet *** comparing phase evolution,apparent porosity,bulk density,permanent linear expansion and strength,it was demonstrated that the utilization of the microstructures＇ heredity of platelet alumina was a new alternative for controlling properties of alumina-magnesia refractory castables.

Two chelating guanidinate-based dysprosium(Ⅲ)complexes,namely the monomeric{(Me_(3)Si)_(2)NC(N^(i)Pr)_(2)}_(2)Dy(μ-CI)_(2)Li(THF)_(2) 1 and the dimeric[{(Me_(3)Si)_(2)NC(N^(i)Pr)_(2)}_(2)Dy(μ-CI)]_(2) 2,have been confirmed to be single-molecule ***,the alteration from 1 to 2 leads to an obvious mitigated quantum tunnelling of magnetization at zero field of the hysteresis loop and much enhanced magnetic relaxation barrier(up to 312 K).5%dilution with the yttrium(Ⅲ)analogue for 2 shows no clear change for the hysteresis,indicating the single-ion nature of the magnetic behavior.

The limited treatment options for advanced prostate cancer(PCa)lead to the urgent need to discover new anticancer ***,an isomer of glucose,has been reported to have an anticancer effect on various ***,the anticancer effect of mannose in PCa remains *** this study,we demonstrated that mannose inhibits the proliferation and promotes the apoptosis of PCa cells in vitro,and mannose was observed to have an anticancer effect in mice without harming their *** of intracellular mannose simultaneously decreased the mitochondrial membrane potential,increased mitochondrial and cellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels,and reduced adenosine triphosphate(ATP)production in PCa *** treatment of PCa cells induced changes in mitochondrial morphology,caused dysregulated expression of the fission protein,such as fission,mitochondrial 1(FIS1),and enhanced the expression of proapoptotic factors,such as BCL2-associated X(Bax)and BCL2-antagonist/killer 1(Bak).Furthermore,lower expression of mannose phosphate isomerase(MPI),the key enzyme in mannose metabolism,indicated poorer prognosis in PCa patients,and downregulation of MPI expression in PCa cells enhanced the anticancer effect of *** study reveals the anticancer effect of mannose in PCa and its clinical significance in PCa patients.

Bioturbation plays an important role in enhancing the reservoir capacity of tight *** study aims to understand the alteration mechanism and effects of bioturbation on oil and gas reservoirs,to clarify the key control factors and constraints influencing the production of *** petrophysical characteristics of bioturbation and host sediments in carbonate rocks,such as mineral composition,pore spaces,porosity and permeability,were studied based on the detailed observation and description of the Ordovician cores from the Tahe *** effect of bioturbation on petrophysical properties of carbonate rocks were carefully *** results show:(1)Two types of bioturbation,Thalassinoides-like burrows and Planolites-like burrows,mainly occur in the Ordovician cores of the Tahe oilfield,ranging from the Lower-Middle Ordovician Yingshan Formation to the Middle Ordovician Yijianfang *** burrow-fills are mainly composed of dolomite with subhedral and euhedral *** host sediments mainly consist of micrite.(2)The pores in the host sediments are poorly developed and are incapable of forming effective reservoir ***,well-developed intercrystalline pores among dolomites and microfractures in bioturbated sediments with better connectivity can form effective pore *** results of porosity and permeability show that the host sediments without bioturbation are characterized by poor porosity and ***,with the increase of bioturbation intensity,the porosity of the bioturbated sediments firstly increases and then decreases,whereas the permeability increases all the time.(3)Multiple burrows overprinted in the Ordovician carbonate rocks,forming a large-scale bioturbated carbonate rocks with lateral continuity and vertical connectivity,due to the suitable sedimentary setting,ecological conditions,favorable spatiotemporal sediment matching,and abundant organism-substrate ***,diagenesis(particular

Electrodeposition of chitosan/graphene oxide conduit to enhance peripheral nerve regeneration

Currently available commercial nerve guidance conduits have been applied in the repair of peripheral nerve ***,a conduit exhibiting good biocompatibility remains to be *** this work,a series of chitosan/graphene oxide(GO)films with concentrations of GO varying from 0-1 wt%(collectively referred to as CHGF-n)were prepared by an electrodeposition *** effects of CHGF-n on proliferation and adhesion abilities of Schwann cells were *** results showed that Schwann cells exhibited elongated spindle shapes and upregulated expression of nerve regeneration-related factors such as Krox20(a key myelination factor),Zeb2(essential for Schwann cell differentiation,myelination,and nerve repair),and transforming growth factorβ(a cytokine with regenerative functions).In addition,a nerve guidance conduit with a GO content of 0.25%(CHGFC-0.25)was implanted to repair a 10-mm sciatic nerve defect in *** results indicated improvements in sciatic functional index,electrophysiology,and sciatic nerve and gastrocnemius muscle histology compared with the CHGFC-0 group,and similar outcomes to the autograft *** conclusion,we provide a candidate method for the repair of peripheral nerve defects using free-standing chitosan/GO nerve conduits produced by electrodeposition.

珍珠粟是世界范围重要的谷物,拥有极强的光合能力和高生产潜力,较其他作物相比,珍珠粟具有对贫瘠土壤的耐受性,能够适应多种非生物胁迫和多样化的环境条件。PgWD40基因家族在植物抵御生物和非生物胁迫以及调控植物生长发育中扮演着重要角色。本研究利用生物信息学方法全面鉴定和分析了珍珠粟中的PgWD40基因家族及其表达模式。研究结果显示,共鉴定出209个PgWD40基因家族成员,通过对珍珠粟和水稻的系统进化分析将其归为5个亚家族,在同一亚族内的成员中,它们的保守序列和基因结构表现出一定的相似性。此外,通过对启动子顺式作用元件的分析显示, 176个PgWD40基因与植物的生长和发育相关, 208个PgWD40基因成员含有不同激素胁迫响应的顺式作用元件,进一步通过转录组数据分析和qRT-PCR分析显示,PMA3G03393.1、PMA4G00558.1、PMA5G02217.1等基因受到盐、热和干旱胁迫的诱导,表明这些基因可能通过依赖不同激素的信号通路来调控和响应非生物胁迫,可作为进一步研究PgWD40基因家族耐受性功能的候选基因。并且PgWD40基因家族成员在珍珠粟抽穗期的不同时期存在表达差异。通过基因表达热图以及GO和KEGG等分析,发现许多PgWD40基因家族成员参与了植物生长发育和籽粒形成的各个阶段。研究结果为全面解析PgWD40基因结构与生物学功能、耐逆性分子机制以及分子育种提供了理论基础,为今后培育高效抗逆作物新品种提供基因资源。

元曲作品中多见涉及丝织显花技艺事象,系通过戏曲文学艺术形式反映传统手工丝织事物的文化现象,也是纺织史料的一种保存和呈现形态。采用“曲史互证”的方法,对元曲中有代表性的丝织显花技艺事象开展辨析。研究认为,元曲呈现的提花织造事象与现实中的丝织显花工艺及其织品存在一定的对应关系。元曲“妆花”和“妆金”相关事象提示出后世相关丝织品名称的渊源。元曲“织成”和“缂丝”相关事象所反映的工艺特征和用途符合实际。元曲中“改机”相关事象虽与明代记载不同,但是提示出元代民间衣料加工的常见方法。元曲作品中丝织显花技艺相关事象多由剧曲作者根据现实的丝织工艺特征和产品特点赋予意象性的艺术表达,对后世专门术语的形成不无启发作用,又通过元曲在民间的广泛传播获得流传和认同。
