A Trust Evaluation Mechanism Based on Autoencoder Clustering Algorithm for Edge Device Access of IoT

First,we propose a cross-domain authentication architecture based on trust evaluation mechanism,including registration,certificate issuance,and cross-domain authentication processes.A direct trust evaluation mechanism based on the time decay factor is proposed,taking into account the influence of historical interaction records.We weight the time attenuation factor to each historical interaction record for updating and got the new historical record data.We refer to the beta distribution to enhance the flexibility and adaptability of the direct trust assessment model to better capture time trends in the historical record.Then we propose an autoencoder-based trust clustering algorithm.We perform feature extraction based on autoencoders.Kullback leibler(KL)divergence is used to calculate the reconstruction error.When constructing a convolutional autoencoder,we introduce convolutional neural networks to improve training efficiency and introduce sparse constraints into the hidden layer of the autoencoder.The sparse penalty term in the loss function measures the difference through the KL divergence.Trust clustering is performed based on the density based spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)clustering algorithm.During the clustering process,edge nodes have a variety of trustworthy attribute characteristics.We assign different attribute weights according to the relative importance of each attribute in the clustering process,and a larger weight means that the attribute occupies a greater weight in the calculation of distance.Finally,we introduced adaptive weights to calculate comprehensive trust evaluation.Simulation experiments prove that our trust evaluation mechanism has excellent reliability and accuracy.

High-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation promotes neural stem cell proliferation after ischemic stroke

Prolife ration of neural stem cells is crucial for promoting neuronal regeneration and repairing cerebral infarction damage.Transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS)has recently emerged as a tool for inducing endogenous neural stem cell regeneration,but its underlying mechanisms remain unclea r In this study,we found that repetitive TMS effectively promotes the proliferation of oxygen-glucose deprived neural stem cells.Additionally,repetitive TMS reduced the volume of cerebral infa rction in a rat model of ischemic stro ke caused by middle cerebral artery occlusion,im p roved rat cognitive function,and promoted the proliferation of neural stem cells in the ischemic penumbra.RNA-sequencing found that repetitive TMS activated the Wnt signaling pathway in the ischemic penumbra of rats with cerebral ischemia.Furthermore,PCR analysis revealed that repetitive TMS promoted AKT phosphorylation,leading to an increase in mRNA levels of cell cycle-related proteins such as Cdk2 and Cdk4.This effect was also associated with activation of the glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin signaling pathway,which ultimately promotes the prolife ration of neural stem cells.Subsequently,we validated the effect of repetitive TMS on AKT phosphorylation.We found that repetitive TMS promoted Ca2+influx into neural stem cells by activating the P2 calcium channel/calmodulin pathway,thereby promoting AKT phosphorylation and activating the glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin pathway.These findings indicate that repetitive TMS can promote the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells through a Ca2+influx-dependent phosphorylated AKT/glycogen synthase kinase 3β/β-catenin signaling pathway.This study has produced pioneering res ults on the intrinsic mechanism of repetitive TMS to promote neural function recove ry after ischemic stro ke.These results provide a stro ng scientific foundation for the clinical application of repetitive TMS.Moreover,repetitive TMS treatment may not only be an efficient and potential approach to support neurogenesis for

BACKGROUND Breast cancer(BC),a leading malignant disease,affects women all over the world.Cancer associated fibroblasts(CAFs)stimulate epithelial-mesenchymal transition,and induce chemoresistance and immunosuppression.AIM To establish a CAFs-associated prognostic signature to improve BC patient out-come estimation.METHODS We retrieved the transcript profile and clinical data of 1072 BC samples from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and 3661 BC samples from the The Gene Expression Omnibus.CAFs and immune cell infiltrations were quantified using CIBERSORT algorithm.CAF-associated gene identification was done by weighted gene co-expression network analysis.A CAF risk signature was established via univariate,least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,and mul-tivariate Cox regression analyses.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)and Kaplan-Meier curves were employed to evaluate the predictability of the model.Subsequently,a nomogram was developed with the risk score and patient clinical signature.Using Spearman's correlations analysis,the relationship between CAF risk score and gene set enrichment scores were examined.Patient samples were collected to validate gene expression by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).RESULTS Employing an 8-gene(IL18,MYD88,GLIPR1,TNN,BHLHE41,DNAJB5,FKBP14,and XG)signature,we attemp-ted to estimate BC patient prognosis.Based on our analysis,high-risk patients exhibited worse outcomes than low-risk patients.Multivariate analysis revealed the risk score as an independent indicator of BC patient prognosis.ROC analysis exhibited satisfactory nomogram predictability.The area under the curve showed 0.805 at 3 years,and 0.801 at 5 years in the TCGA cohort.We also demonstrated that a reduced CAF risk score was strongly associated with enhanced chemotherapeutic outcomes.CAF risk score was significantly correlated with most hallmark gene sets.Finally,the prognostic signature were further validated by qRT-PCR.CONCLUSION We introduced a newly-discovered

Multimorbidity and mortality among older patients with coronary heart disease in Shenzhen,China

BACKGROUND The current understanding of the magnitude and consequences of multimorbidity in Chinese older adults with coronary heart disease(CHD)is insufficient.We aimed to assess the association and population-attributable fractions(PAFs)between multimorbidity and mortality among hospitalized older patients who were diagnosed with CHD in Shenzhen,China.METHODS We conducted a retrospective cohort study of older Chinese patients(aged≥65 years)who were diagnosed with CHD.Cox proportional hazards models were used to estimate the associations between multimorbidity and all-cause and cardiovascular disease(CVD)mortality.We also calculated the PAFs.RESULTS The study comprised 76,455 older hospitalized patients who were diagnosed with CHD between January 1,2016,and August 31,2022.Among them,70,217(91.9%)had multimorbidity,defined as the presence of at least one of the predefined 14 chronic conditions.Those with cancer,hemorrhagic stroke and chronic liver disease had the worst overall death risk,with adjusted HRs(95%CIs)of 4.05(3.77,4.38),2.22(1.94,2.53),and 1.85(1.63,2.11),respectively.For CVD mortality,the highest risk was observed for hemorrhagic stroke,ischemic stroke,and chronic kidney disease;the corresponding adjusted HRs(95%CIs)were 3.24(2.77,3.79),1.91(1.79,2.04),and 1.81(1.64,1.99),respectively.All-cause mortality was mostly attributable to cancer,heart failure and ischemic stroke,with PAFs of 11.8,10.2,and 9.1,respectively.As for CVD mortality,the leading PAFs were heart failure,ischemic stroke and diabetes;the corresponding PAFs were 18.0,15.7,and 6.1,respectively.CONCLUSIONS Multimorbidity was common and had a significant impact on mortality among older patients with CHD in Shenzhen,China.Cancer,heart failure,ischemic stroke and diabetes are the primary contributors to PAFs.Therefore,prioritizing improved treatment and management of these comorbidities is essential for the survival prognosis of CHD patients from a holistic public health perspective.

In this paper,we propose a finite volume Hermite weighted essentially non-oscillatory(HWENO)method based on the dimension by dimension framework to solve hyperbolic conservation laws.It can maintain the high accuracy in the smooth region and obtain the high resolution solution when the discontinuity appears,and it is compact which will be good for giving the numerical boundary conditions.Furthermore,it avoids complicated least square procedure when we implement the genuine two dimensional(2D)finite volume HWENO reconstruction,and it can be regarded as a generalization of the one dimensional(1D)HWENO method.Extensive numerical tests are performed to verify the high resolution and high accuracy of the scheme.

Optical Extinctions of Inter-Arm Molecular Clouds in M31: A Pilot Study for the Upcoming CSST Observations

Recent submillimeter dust thermal emission observations have unveiled a significant number of inter-arm massive molecular clouds in M31. However, the effectiveness of this technique is limited to its sensitivity, making it challenging to study more distant galaxies. This study introduces an alternative approach, utilizing optical extinctions derived from space-based telescopes, with a focus on the forthcoming China Space Station Telescope（CSST）. We first demonstrate the capability of this method by constructing dust extinction maps for 17 inter-arm massive molecular clouds in M31 using the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury data. Our analysis reveals that inter-arm massive molecular clouds with an optical extinction（AV） greater than 1.6 mag exhibit a notable AVexcess, facilitating their identification. The majority of these inter-arm massive molecular clouds show an AVaround 1 mag, aligning with measurements from our JCMT data. Further validation using a mock CSST RGB star catalog confirms the method's effectiveness. We show that the derived AVvalues using CSST z and y photometries align more closely with the input values. Molecular clouds with AV> 1.6 mag can also be identified using the CSST mock data. We thus claim that future CSST observation clouds provide an effective way for the detection of inter-arm massive molecular clouds with significant optical extinction in nearby galaxies.

Background:The 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide is a key intermediate in the synthesis of pesticides and pharmaceuticals.However,no literature currently exists on 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide poisoning in humans.This study aimed to reveal the health hazard of this chemical for humans and summarize the clinical characteristics of patients with occupational 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide poisoning.Methods:This observational study included four patients with 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide poisoning from June 2022 to July 2022.The entire course of the incidents was described in detail.Blood 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide concentrations were detected by a mass spectrometer.Hema-toxylin and eosin staining was performed to assess liver injury,and immunofluorescence was used to evaluate hepatic mitophagy.Results:The 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide powder(99%purity)entered the human body mainly via the skin and respiratory tract due to poor personal protective measures.The typical course of 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide poisoning was divided into latency,rash,fever,organic dam-age,and recovery phases in accordance with the clinical evolution.Rash and fever may be the important premonitory symptoms for further organ injuries.The chemical was detected in the blood of all patients and caused multiple organ injuries,predominantly liver injury,including kidney,myocardium,and micro-circulation.Three patients recovered smoothly after comprehensive treatments,including artificial liver therapy,continuous renal replacement therapy,glucocorticoids,and other symptomatic and supportive treatments.One patient survived by liver transplantation.The postoperative pathological findings of the removed liver showed acute liver failure,and immunofluorescence staining confirmed the abundance of mitophagy in residual hepatocytes.Conclusions:This study is the first to elaborate the clinical characteristics of patients with 2-amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide poisoning.The chemical enter

A versatile model with three-dimensional triangular lattice for unconventional transport and various topological effects

The finite Berry curvature in topological materials can induce many subtle phenomena, such as the anomalous Hall effect(AHE), spin Hall effect(SHE), anomalous Nernst effect(ANE), non-linear Hall effect(NLHE) and bulk photovoltaic effects. To explore these novel physics as well as their connection and coupling, a precise and effective model should be developed. Here, we propose such a versatile model—a 3D triangular lattice with alternating hopping parameters, which can yield various topological phases,including kagome bands, triply degenerate fermions, double Weyl semimetals and so on. We reveal that this special lattice can present unconventional transport due to its unique topological surface states and the aforementioned topological phenomena, such as AHE, ANE, NLHE and the topological photocurrent effect. In addition, we also provide a number of material candidates that have been synthesized experimentally with this lattice, and discuss two materials, including a non-magnetic triangular system for SHE, NLHE and the shift current, and a ferromagnetic triangular lattice for AHE and ANE. Our work provides an excellent platform, including both the model and materials, for the study of Berry-curvature-related physics.

In recent years, the demand direction for electronic equipment has expanded into embedded and miniaturized devices. The heat radiation problem has become one of the most significant factors for hindering the development of electronic devices. Since heat radiation material is one of the important components in electronic devices, the demand for enhancing thermal conductivity is also increasingly urgent. Research on thermal conductive polymer composites has become a major direction for developing functional composites. This work reviewed the recent progress in the fabrication of thermal conductive polymer composites. Five different structures are presented, including the using of single fillers,hybrid fillers, double threshold percolation structure, segregated structure and other complex multiphase structures. Specifically, the preparation of high-performance thermal conductive polymer composites was introduced through the combination of various thermal conductive fillers.Finally, the development direction of high thermal conductive polymer composites was briefly explored.

Preoperative prognostic nutritional index predicts long-term outcomes of patients with ampullary adenocarcinoma after curative pancreatoduodenectomy

BACKGROUND The prognostic nutritional index(PNI),a marker of immune-nutrition balance,has predictive value for the survival and prognosis of patients with various cancers.AIM To explore the clinical significance of the preoperative PNI on the prognosis of ampullary adenocarcinoma(AC)patients who underwent curative pancreaticoduodenectomy.METHODS The data concerning 233 patients diagnosed with ACs were extracted and analyzed at our institution from January 1998 to December 2020.All patients were categorized into low and high PNI groups based on the cutoff value determined by receiver operating characteristic curve analysis.We compared disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)between these groups and assessed prognostic factors through univariate and multivariate analyses.RESULTS The optimal cutoff value for the PNI was established at 45.3.Patients with a PNI≥45.3 were categorized into the PNI-high group,while those with a PNI<45.3 were assigned to the PNI-low group.Patients within the PNI-low group tended to be of advanced age and exhibited higher levels of aspartate transaminase and total bilirubin and a lower creatinine level than were those in the PNI-high group.The 5-year OS rates for patients with a PNI≥45.3 and a PNI<45.3 were 61.8%and 43.4%,respectively,while the 5-year DFS rates were 53.5%and 38.3%,respectively.Patients in the PNI-low group had shorter OS(P=0.006)and DFS(P=0.012).In addition,multivariate analysis revealed that the PNI,pathological T stage and pathological N stage were found to be independent prognostic factors for both OS and DFS.CONCLUSION The PNI is a straightforward and valuable marker for predicting long-term survival after pancreatoduodenectomy.The PNI should be incorporated into the standard assessment of patients with AC.
