Efficient removal of non-biodegradable and hazardous dyes from wastewater remains a hot research ***,a rationally designed a Cu(Ⅱ)-based metal–organic gel(Cu-MOG)with a nanoporous 3 D network structure prepared via a simple one-step mixing method was successfully employed for the removal of cationic *** Cu-MOG exhibited high efficiency,with an adsorption capacity of up to 650.32 mg/g,and rapid adsorption efficiency,with the ability to adsorb 80%of Neutral Red within 1 *** high adsorption efficiency was attributed to its large specific surface area,which enabled it to massively bind cationic dyes through electrostatic interaction,and a nanoporous structure that promoted intra-pore ***,the Cu-MOG displayed size-selective adsorption,based on adsorption studies concerning dyes of different sizes as calculated by density functional ***,the adsorption performance of the Cu-MOG still maintained removal efficiency of 100%after three regeneration *** results suggested that the Cu-MOG could be expected to be a promising and competitive candidate to conveniently process wastewater.

Detection of backscattering signals （BSS） generally suffers from the interference of reflected light, and it is hard to apply these signals for analytical purpose. Herein we provided an optical assembly, which effectively eliminated the interference of reflected light so that the scattering signals of analyte could be measured distinctly. With this assembly, chlorine in human urine could be detected with the limit of detection （LOD） of 2.0 ng/mL by measuring the enhanced BSS signals produced between the interactions of chlorine with silver nitrate.

BACKGROUND Colorectal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(MALToma),a rare kind of nongastric MALToma,lacks consensus on its endoscopic features and standard *** to previous studies on the clinical characteristics and outcomes of colorectal MALToma,endoscopic resection remains a good therapeutic *** SUMMARY A 71-year-old woman suffered intermittent hematochezia for 1 mo,accompanied with abdominal pains but without weight loss,fever,chills or *** showed a massive hemispheric mass with rough and hyperemic mucosa in the lower ***-band imaging magnifying endoscopy detected some branching abnormal blood vessels and disappearance of glandular structure,which was similar with the tree-like appearance sign in gastric *** ultrasonography revealed the lesion to be hypoechoic,boundary-defined,and echo uniform inside,originating from the muscularis *** enhanced computed tomography(CT)demonstrated a soft tissue mass with defined *** enlarged superficial lymph nodes were detected by B-mode ultrasound.C13-urea breath test and serum Helicobacter pylori antibody were both *** patient underwent endoscopic full-thickness *** pathological analysis indicated colorectal *** patient remained asymptomatic after discharge,and follow-up positron emission tomography–CT and colonoscopy showed no residual lesion,remnants or lymph node *** This case provides new information on the specific endoscopic features of colorectal MALToma and an alternative treatment for patients.

Fluorescence Anisotropy(FA)is an effective biochemical detection method based on molecular *** oxide(GO)has been extensively used as an FA ***,the enhancement of FA by GO alone is limited and the strong scattering of GO will easily make the measurement of FA *** order to address these problems,an octopus-like DNA nanostructure(ODN)was designed and coupled with GO to enhance the FA together in this *** mimicking the multi-clawed structure of the octopus,the ODN can be adsorbed on GO tightly,which not only could improve the sensitivity because of the double FA enhancement abilities of GO and ODN,but also could improve the specificity due to the decrease of the nonspecific interaction in complex ***,ODN could maintain a certain distance between the fluorophore and GO to reduce the fluorescence quenching efficiency of GO,which could improve the *** method has been applied for the detection of hepatitis B virus DNA(HBV-DNA)in a range of 1-50 nmol/L and the limit of detection(LOD)was 330 pmol/*** addition,the proposed method has been successfully utilized to detect HBV-DNA in human serum,indicating that this method has a great practical application prospect.

Both the accurate distance measurement and positioning information at the nanoscale are important for the analysis of micro/nano *** ruler has been an indispensable optical tool to detect the chemical and biological dynamic processes via distance-dependent plasmon coupling in the nearly aggregated *** it cannot disclose the detailed and accurate information of positions and dynamic movements of its two plasmonic components owing to the inherent diffraction ***,a plasmonic locator is presented which consists of a heterotypic pair of red/blue plasmonic components with significant wavelength difference(∼150 nm).Attributed to the detuned energy(∼0.64 eV)of the two components,the plasmonic locator has the ability of sub-diffraction-limited resolution(center to center,30 nm)and accurate positioning under conventional dark-field microscopy,making the relative dynamic information of nearby red/blue components be recorded accurately at video *** an important complement to the current aggregate science and technology of plasmonics,this newly developed plasmonic locator presents a facile means to realize super-resolution imaging,accurate positioning,and continuous tracing in chemical and biological interactions at the single-molecule level.

Objective To investigate the prosaposin （PSAP） expression in polycystic ovaries. Methods The expression of PSAP was examined using immunohistochemistry, quantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting in a rat model with letrozole-induced polycystic ovary syndrom （PCOS）. Results Letrozole-induced PCOS rat models were similar to those in human PCOS in endocrine disturbances, metabolic characteristics and morphology features. And in these models both mRNA and protein levels of PSAP were significantly increased. Conclusion PSAP was overexpressed in the letrozole-induced PCOS rat model and might play an important role in the oceurance and development of PCOS.

Background and objective:The role of additional gastrectomy after non-curative endoscopic resection remains *** present meta-analysis aimed to explore the risk factors for early-stage gastric-cancer patients after non-curative endoscopic resection and evaluate the efficacy of additional ***:Relevant studies that reported additional gastrectomy after non-curative endoscopic resection were comprehensively searched in Medline,Web of Science and *** first investigated the risk factors for residual tumor and lymph-node metastasis after non-curative endoscopic resection and then analysed the survival outcome,including 5-year overall survival(OS)and 5-year disease-free survival,of additional ***:Twenty-one studies comprising 4870 cases were included in the present *** found that residual tumor was associated with larger tumor size(>3 cm)(odds ratio[OR]=2.81,P3 cm)(OR=1.73,PSM1)(OR=2.68,P<0.001),lymphatic invasion(OR=4.65,P<0.001)and positive vertical margin(OR=2.30,P<0.001).Patients who underwent additional gastrectomy had longer 5-year OS(hazard ratio[HR]=0.34,P<0.001),5-year disease-free survival(HR=0.52,P=0.001)and 5-year disease-specific survival(HR=0.50,P<0.001)than those who did ***,elderly patients also benefited from additional gastrectomy regarding 5-year OS(HR=0.41,P=0.001).Conclusions:Additional gastrectomy with lymph-node dissectionmight improve the survival of early-stage gastric-cancer patients after non-curative endoscopic ***,risk stratification should be performed to avoid excessive treatment.
