Neoichnological characterization of modern depositional settings addresses the response of benthic animals to ecological conditions and their fluctuations, usually on a relatively short time scale. In this way, analogue models for interpretation of sedimentary strata in the geological record can be *** japonicus(De Haan, 1835), a crab, is commonly found in the Pearl River Delta front of southern China. The burrows of M. japonicus are vertical or inclined, I-, U-, Y-, J-and L-shaped tubes, and these are imaged in 7.5-cm-diameter sediment cores. The cores were studied by X-ray radiography, computed tomography, and VG Studio MAX reconstruction to obtain three-dimensional images for elaborate morphological study. This crab's burrows are analogous to the trace fossil Psilonichnus. Several environmental parameters, i.e., sediment grain size and its total organic carbon(TOC) content, and turbidity and salinity of water, have been measured. The results indicated that M. japonicus prefers to live in mesohaline water with turbidity levels of 20-170 NTU, where bioturbation is more abundant. It prefers to occur in mud and silty sand substrates, with TOC content decreasing as particle size increases. The sedimentary environment, grain size and ichnofacies of analogical trace fossils Psilonichnus are discussed which supports the interpretation that Psilonichnus is a good indicator of delta front environments.

Background:This study investigated the relationship between meteorological factors and daily outpatient visits to rabies post-exposure prophylaxis clinics to inform animal injury prevention ***:Daily outpatient visit data from rabies post-exposure prophylaxis clinics in Jinan and corresponding meteorological data were collected from January 1,2020,to December 31,2022.A generalized additive model was used to quantitatively assess the relationship between these factors.A total of 202,010 patients visited these clinics during this ***:Daily mean,maximum,and minimum temperatures,and relative humidity were positively associated with outpatient visits.A 1°C increase in mean,maximum,and minimum temperatures corresponded to increases in daily visits of 1.65%(95%Confidence Interval(CI):1.55–1.76),1.59%(95%CI:1.50–1.69),and 1.27%(95%CI:1.17–1.36)*** 1%increase in relative humidity was associated with a 0.18%(95%CI:0.15–0.20)increase in *** pressure was negatively associated with outpatient visits,the outpatient visits decreased by 0.91%(95%CI:−1.71 to−0.11)for every 1 kPa increased in mean ***:The change of meteorological factors will lead to the increase of outpatient visits in rabies exposure treatment clinic.

The octupole deformation and collectivity in octupole double-magic nucleus 144Ba are investigated using the Cranking covariant density functional theory in a three-dimensional lattice *** reduced B(E3)transition probability is implemented for the first time in semiclassical approximation based on the microscopically calculated electric octupole *** available data,including the I-ωrelation and electric transitional probabilities B(E2)and B(E3)are well ***,it is shown that the ground state of 144Ba exhibits axial octupole and quadrupole deformations that persist up to high spins(I≈24h).

BACKGROUND Jejunal diverticula(JD)are rare clinical conditions that are typically incidentally detected and *** acute complications arise,surgical exploration may be necessary for accurate diagnosis and appropriate *** this report,we present a case of multiple JD complicated by gastrointestinal bleeding and review the pathogenesis,diagnosis,and treatment of JD to increase clinician awareness of this *** SUMMARY A 70-year-old male patient with multiple JD presented with repeated massive gastrointestinal *** patient did not respond to symptomatic conservative *** diagnostic investigations,including digestive endoscopy and abdominal angiography,did not reveal any relevant *** exploratory laparotomy was subsequently performed,during which a segment of the bowel containing numerous diverticulum-like structures was surgically *** successful discharge from the hospital,the patient did not experience any further episodes of gastrointestinal bleeding during subsequent *** Complications caused by JD are often difficult to diagnose,and surgical exploration is sometimes the most appropriate method.

In this paper, a further extended Jacobi elliptic function rationM expansion method is proposed for constructing new forms of exact solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations by making a more general transformation. For illustration, we apply the method to （2＋1）-dimensionM dispersive long wave equation and successfully obtain many new doubly periodic solutions. When the modulus m→1, these sohitions degenerate as soliton solutions. The method can be also applied to other nonlinear partial differential equations.

In this paper,we investigate the time-periodic solution to a coupled compressible Navier–Stokes/Allen–Cahn system which describes the motion of a mixture of two viscous compressible fluids with a time periodic external force in a periodic domain in R^*** existence of the time-periodic solution to the system is established by using an approach of parabolic regularization and combining with the topology degree theory,and then the uniqueness of the period solution is obtained under some smallness and symmetry assumptions on the external force.

The c-Jun N-terminal kinases （JNKs） are classic stress-activated protein kinases. Many cellular stresses have been shown to stimulate JNK activation. In this review, we focus on ribotoxic stresses based on their multiple biological potencies including anti-HIV-1 activity. Some of the functions of ribotoxins and the signaling transduction pathway that mediated are mentioned. Different from other stimulators, ribotoxic stresses act on special motifs of 28S rRNA in translationally active mammal ribosomes. Binding and damaging on the motif leads to JNK activation and subsequently biological response to the signal initiator, which is named ribotoxic stress response. Cationic ring-opening polymerization of 3,3-bis（chloromethyl）oxacyclobutane catalyzed by ***2 was carded out in ionic liquids [bmim]BF4 and [bmim]PF6. The influences of BCMO concentration and molar ratio of BCMO/***2 on the molecular weights and yield of PBCMO were investigated. The polymerization in ionic liquids proceed to high conversions, although molecular weights are limited, similar to polymerization in organic solvent such as CH2Cl2. Follow a viewpoint of green chemistry, we feel ionic liquid [bmim]BF4 is superior to [bmim]PF6. Extracting [bmim]PF6 from the product using organic solvent as extractant limits its advantage as a green reaction media.
